ALISAAH'S ARMOR

Commissioned by @Aska Ryun , funded by @Kliedden Raxx and made to order by a reputable armorer in Iziz, the capital city of Onderon, this set of armor was created specifically for @Alisaah Tila to provide her with better protection during mercenary missions and bounties. The set incorporates a significant amount of light armor qualities, particularly in terms of the materials used, such as the Echani fiber which makes up much of the coverage and provides flexibility as well as protection. The areas of coverage were designed to enable mobility and retain flexibility due to the Togruta's preference not to be restricted, whilst still giving some protection. Due to the coverage areas it qualifies as heavy armor rather than light and as a result of the minimal use of metal plating, may not be as durable as other heavy armor sets. As Echani fiber is a highly sought after but rare commodity due to its versatility and ease of which it can be modified, and including the time taken to fit and adjust the set to Alisaah's specific dimensions, this armor is very expensive and one of a kind. It is of high quality and in good condition.

LEGALITY

Legal across the galaxy. This armor can draw the attention of authorities on more civilized and core-world colonies but will pass scrutiny as it is not fitted with any concealed weaponry.

INTENT

To provide Alisaah with a set of armor that provides her better protection when accompanying Aska and friends on mercenary missions and bounties whilst attempting to cater for the Togruta's preference for wearing light / minimal clothing.

RESTRICTIONS

Restricted for use by Alisaah Tila only.

TYPE AND COVERAGE

Type: Heavy Armor (Due to number of coverage areas)

Coverage: (Coverage regions for Light armor is 1-3 regions, Medium is 4-5, Heavy is 6-7)

  • Head: N/A
  • Torso: Chest and shoulder segmented durasteel plating covering from shoulders/collar to the lower ribs. One-piece style Echani fiber coverage from neck down to the groin.
  • Back: Back segmented durasteel plating covering from neck line to the lower ribs. One-piece style Echani fiber coverage from neck down to the glutes.
  • Upper Arms: Echani fiber covering the outer arm from shoulder to elbow.
  • Lower Arms: Echani fiber covering the outer arm from elbow to wrist with matching gloves made of the same material.
  • Upper Legs: Echani fiber covering the outer thigh, coming in towards the knee and covering part of the inner thigh. A utility belt is also worn across the lower torso/upper legs.
  • Lower Legs: Armored boots with durasteel shin (up to the jointed knees), calf, and toe plating.
  • Exposed Areas: Armorweave bodysuit worn beneath plating and Echani fiber.

FUNCTIONS

Function 1: Computer Spike
  • Computer spikes are used to forcibly decrypt or unlock computer terminals. Most civilian systems can be cracked in one posting round, while most military or hardened systems take two or more.
    Force User Compatible?: Yes
Function 2: Rebreather Mask (Stored in the underside of the chest plate)
  • Rebreathers allow for a person to survive underwater or in space for brief amounts of time by scrubbing CO2 from their exhaled breath. Generally this lasts for 3-4 posts, but heavy exertion can shorten that time.
    Force User Compatible?: Yes
Function 3: Armorweave Accessory (In reference to the bodysuit worn beneath the plating and Echani fiber)
  • Most often in the form of a heavy cape, skirt, or underlay beneath armor, armor weave provides some protection against the penetrating effects of shrapnel from explosives and other unpowered high velocity impacts, with only a small amount of bleed through damage (bruising or very minor wounds). It offers no protection against kinetic impact or energy, vibroweapons, or similar "powered" weapons. Having more than one accessory (example: Cape + underweave) provides no additional effect.
    Force User Compatible?: Yes

Approved. However, normally armor can be posted in Generic Tech, so long as all the functions are pre-approved. I'll move this there for you.
