Biography

Ahdam Bac was born on Naboo around three decades before the re-emergence of the Sith Eternal. He was descended from a family of Alderaaanians, from before the Disaster that destroyed their family’s homeworld. One such ancestor was a Jedi Knight who survived Order 66 and helped fight for the Rebel Alliance against the Galactic Empire. Rebellion became a staple of the family after Alderaan was destroyed, with its members fighting even up until the Battle of Exegol in the Free Worlds fleet.

Like his ancestor from the days of the Clone Wars, Ahdam was identified as Force sensitive. As a young adult, he encountered a Jedi Knight and joined the Jedi Order himself. Like his ancestors, he preferred to help people rather than be tied down on any one world. He completed his training and ventured out into the galaxy, finding conflicts that he could help resolve and citizens he could protect. Now, he roams the galaxy in search of his next mission.

Personality and Traits

Like most Jedi of his era, Ahdam was trained in a time where the Jedi were ever-vigilant of new threats from the Unknown Regions and beyond but where practical application of the most advanced Jedi skills was few and far between. Conflicts were largely with gangsters, pirates, and other members of the criminal underworld, which has never been the strongest test of battlefield experience. His combat skills are largely honed in training scenarios and practice.

Despite this, while Ahdam may focus on those skills over Jedi philosophy, he does have a deeply emotional connection to the Force. Though most Jedi have a telepathic sense of the general emotions of others, Ahdam can feel emotions and takes on their weight and, at times, burden. This helps him read people and make connections with others, particularly as he seeks to alleviate the suffering of others. The downside to this is the emotional energy it can take to be surrounded by such heightened emotions.

Ahdam was inspired by the legacy of those who founded the new Jedi and who helped defeat the Sith on Exegol, believing strongly in leading by example. Despite this, to to help hide his psychological burdens, he often projects being cocky and overly-sure of himself.
