DESCRIPTION​

Assault Combat Machines has ushered a new wave of rugged armaments to complement the Imperial armed forces. The Aggressor series blaster carbine appears as ferocious and intimidating as it is dangerous. Constructed from rich durasteel and chromium, then carefully etched and painted ebony, its cosmetic appeal in the hands of Imperial Agents is unrivaled. Efficient, reliable, and affordable, it was designed to be a staple of most soldiers' armory portfolio.

INTENT​

I didn't like any of the cosmetics associated with currently available technology. I prefer my characters to have their own stock of weaponry. This is a re-skin of Sith Gladius Blaster Rifle.

I'm with Dara, generic tech should match or be inferior to some approved tech, so best to add a link to some approved tech to say that you're re-skinning off of that. You just added a bunch of gen tech, all could benefit from that.

It does match the tech you linked. It will just help with any scrutinizing eyes in the future if you link the related tech. This is technically inferior to the Vorantikus because of its size and weight so that for all intents and purposes makes it fine. I think it would just be efficient if the appropriate links were set up in the original submission.

Even I have 'original gen-tech' submissions but i try to make it as close to existing submissions as possible to be on the safe side. Loco told me that if something was not 'up to code' then it would "blow up in the user's face" and nobody wants that. So it's best to be on the safe side.

A: Link the weapon this is a reskin of in the Intent section.

B: Use an image of something that is not plainly a real-life weapon that even more plainly shoots bullets.

C: Use an image larger than a postage stamp.

Just so you're aware @Sandshark the LRA is in turn just a reskin of the Sith Gladius Blaster Rifle.

Also if you do a reskin you have to have all the same stats or inferior per the generic tech rules . That includes size and weight. Looking at the LRA 9200 it isn't even matching up to the original gladius and I'll be letting Faded know he needs to edit that shortly. Size and weight are characterstics that are used for balancing and keeping things from being overpowered.

the LRA has the same stats in terms of performance except it is smaller and also a third of the weight. I think that makes it considerably better than the gladius. The other standard faction weapons (R5R & shriek hawk ) that are lighter and shorter have decreased stats compared to the gladius in the form of decreased range and ammo capacity.

Sometimes things get overlooked. Dara pointed out that the issue is, it doesn’t meet reskin criteria. Maybe you edited it, or it simply wasn’t noticed at the time.

Oh I see, all right, no worries. I was just confused with the original tag.

Anyways, edits made. This is now an identical copy of the Gladius, just far sexier in appearance.
