Advanced Commando Armor

The Urban Commando Armor set was designed specifically for tactical law enforcement officers who operate in urban environments; designed and manufactured by the Czerka Corporation. But with further testing, the armor was found to be adaptable to environments of the inner to mid rim. Czerka was contracted by various governments in the core worlds to design and construct a set of armor that protects wearers from light blaster fire, small thermal and shrapnel explosions, slashes and strikes from small close quarter weapons (knives etc) but not lightsabers or vibro blades. Advanced Commando Armor is designed specifically for humanoids of varying heights and builds. Duraplast covers specific body parts in order to accommodate maneuverability.

LEGALITY

This armor is found exclusively in the Core Worlds and worn by tactical law enforcement operatives and to an extent private security contractors and are presumably found nowhere else. They are worn in militant environments and are frowned upon when worn in casual, formal, or any non militant setting.

INTENT

Since the Core is home to wealthy planets with Metropoles, tactical operatives need the protection necessary to operate in close quarters. It also provides protection against environmental hazards that are common in a diversity of environments. Additionally it’s made to add a more bulky armor and uniform to diversify and promote specialization in law enforcement, private security, or even military.

RESTRICTIONS
This armor cannot provide protection in the vacuum of space and the helmet leaves the face and neck exposed, leaving it vulnerable. The forearms and back of the legs are also weak points in the armor.

Type and Coverage

Type:Medium Armor

Coverage:

  • Head: Duraplast helmet that covers the scalp, back of the head, and jaw
  • Torso: Medium blast vest with removable plates
  • Back: Medium blast vest with removable plates
  • Upper Arms: removal duraplast plates that cover the triceps
  • Lower Legs: removal duraplast plates that cover the knees and shins

Functions

Function 1: Armorweave

  • The fatigues under the plates are armor weave and provide less blaster protection than the plates normally would. They can protect the wearer against thermal and shrapnel explosions and also cuts from debris or blades. They can't however provide protection from kinetic impact or energy, vibroweapons, or any similar powered weapons just like the duraplates. No modifications can be made to improve its capabilities.
Function 2: Stealth capabilities

  • The armor emits a unique electromagnetic pulse that is stored in the helmet. It prevents the wearer from being detected by infrared scans, blocking them from detecting the wearer.
Function 3: Helmet Flashlight

  • The helmet provides a flashlight that illuminates a distance of two feet. It runs on a chargeable battery provided by the CSO.
Function 4: In helmet communication
  • The helmet has a communication system that can be used to communicate with other wearers or anyone connected to their frequency. Wearers must link their helmets to a frequency in order to communicate.

There's a number of issues with this armor tech wise, but the biggest issue I think is the intent. If this is supposed to be mass produced for Core world police forces, there's absolutely no way it should have inique stealth tech as part of it. There's already armor available for defense forces and such, so this isn't really needed.
