. Ada Kaur-Gopaal
Ada Kaur-Gopaal (pronounced /ˈeɪdə kjʊə gəʊpɔːl/), a Force-sensitive human female native of the planet Chalacta, was a Jedi Knight who served as Jedi Ambassador to the Galactic Senate and member of the Council of Reconciliation during the Force Eternal era. For a time, she was enrolled in the Jedi Order Diplomatic Corps leading to a twelve-year appointment as Lady Regent of Artorias.
Born on the planet Chalacta during the Force Eternal era, Ada Kaur-Gopaal was inducted into the Jedi Order, having proven to be Force-sensitive, when she was five years old. She completed her training in the ways of the Force as the Padawan of Jedi Master Tedimor Har.
Upon completing her apprenticeship, Kaur-Gopaal joined the Jedi Order Diplomatic Corps, helping mediate talks with the Order, the New Republic, and foreign states. For years, she had the intricate tasks of writing treaties and resolving political disputes.
When the isolationist planet of Artorias sent a request to the Galactic Senate and the Jedi Council following the death of their rulers, Kaur-Gopaal was selected to ascent to the regency and oversee the education of the Crown Prince. For twelve years, the Jedi Knight developed her political acumen navigating the complexities of the Artoriasian court. Once the prince came of age, the Jedi Knight was made Ambassador for the Jedi Order to the newly restructured Galactic Senate.
Personality and traits
Ada Kaur-Gopaal honored traditions and laws, and had a clear set of standards and beliefs: she expected the same of others and had no patience or understanding of individuals who did not value order. She aspired to be a model Jedi Knight. She took her commitments seriously and followed the Jedi Code to the letter.
She was self-confident, sometimes aggressively so. She was talented at devising systems and plans for action, and at being able to see what steps needed to be taken to complete a specific task. As a result, she could be very demanding and critical.
As a Jedi Ambassador, Ada liked to take charge of people. She had a clear vision of the way things should be and naturally step into leadership roles. She valued security and social order above all else and felt obligated to do all that she could to enhance and promote these goals. Her tendency to be too rigid and to become overly detail-oriented were often criticized since she put a lot of weight on her own beliefs.
Powers and abilities
Like all Jedi, Ada was taught the ways of lightsaber combat and the uses of the Force. She was a capable lightsaber duelist favoring Form III for its defensive capabilities. She was, however, versed in the art of peaceful discussion, and she used negotiation where possible.
Ada Kaur-Gopaal wielded a white-bladed lightsaber in combat although she usually didn't carry it with her to conform to Galactic Senate policies. .
