DESCRIPTION
A pet project designed by Newton Arden under the banner of Blackwell Automata, these droids are designated A7-TR Falcon Droid (Shortened to 'A7' or nicknamed 'Altair') are flying droids shaped like a bird. They are marketed for use as companions and/or for recreation. These products are pretty expensive as these are a novelty, exotic, vanity droid. These are attractive to childern, those who want to own a bird but are afraid of them flying away, or just anyone who wants to own a mechanical pet.

The A7 droid is about the size of a larger bird. The droid uses repulsorlifts to fly and can flap it's wings and glide on them mid-air. The bird droid is slower than your normal bird though. Like most droids, these follow the voice commands of their owner and these A7s include an integrated comlink, letting their owner issue commands from far away. These droids have simplistic artificial intelligence like most droids, although these droids AI have been programmed to be able to develop a fondess/bond with their owner, fitting for a companion droid. The A7 droid by default has only a simple vocabulator, capable only through speaking through binary/droidspeak like most astromech droids. The repulsorlifts on the small droid does drain from the power supply, leaving a operation time of 12 hours, although it can be recharged.

The last thing of note is the camera/recorder, which can record audio and visual as well as take pictures and the data is easily able to be extracted from the droid via datapad or terminal.

LEGALITY
Legal in most systems, although local jurisdictions may restrict their use of these on case-by-case basis.

INTENT
I was looking through the generic tech forums and stumbled upon this again which was really cool. And I stumbled upon the picture base and thought it would be a neat addition here. This droid has use for flavor as a companion/pet, has some other utility that can be made of use (camera/recording), as well as another product for Blackwell andto further for my character Newton as a droid engineer.
