When it came to finding information on ancient things that no one had heard of or thought of for thousands of years, Magnum always thought of Obroa-Skai. It was a planet of medical centers and libraries, housing some of the oldest archives of knowledge in the known galaxy. He'd been here on a few trips, scoping out the place in case he ever needed to come back on 'business'. Now, that was exactly why he was here, along with some friends from the Sith Eternal. They needed to find information on Hypergates, as the Eternal had commanded that they be found and activated for their cause. Good thing the human had at least pretty standard insight. The only problem was, the libraries were kriffin' HUGE.

As usual, Magnum was in his red floral shirt and khaki shorts, wearing comfortable shoes as the weather could get a bit nippy this time of season. He knew his fellows were also in the crowd of tourists on the guided showing of the archive. Usually these places were off limits unless you had a permit to look for something specific, which of course Magnum didn't kriffing get. Money was tight, and it was a lot more fun to be all sneaky and steal stuff right out from under the noses of those damn librarian Karens. Ugh, he HATED those women. He'd wait for the tour to continue towards the central location of the archive then slip away with his friends. Damn, this was going to be fun.

Standing among the gathered tour group, the blonde haired cultist followed the guide at a respectable distance, close enough to hear the facts and history that the guide was revealing about the seemingly endless library - but far enough to not stand out or make much of a lasting impression with the guide so that her absence would be noted. Dressed in a rather uassuming ensamble of atire, comprising of a blue blouse under a plaid pinafore dress - figuring that even if she had 'gotten lost' she would perhaps look academic enough to not arouse suspicion.

The prospect of visiting the great archives of Obroa Skai, was something that Alyse couldn't turn down. Ever the book worm that she was, the appeal of countless millenia worth of knowledge that was held in her current surroundings was enough to get her excited. Yet as much as she hoped that she could spend her time here seeking out information on a whole miriad of subjects, she knew that there was a particular focus for the group, they were here to seek out knowledge on the Hypergates that the Eternal had charged his followers to claim and secure. She would have to keep her search focused and on point, much to her own chagrin - still provided they don't get caught, least she can use this venture to scope out the place for a return visit for her own purposes.

Although he was taller than most of the other tourists, Ventrik seemed to blend in rather well. The tall Echani wore a loose white button-up shirt with black shorts, he even sported a pair of black sunglasses. He had received a message from the party leader regarding the potential for finding these Hypergates that the Eternal so desperately required. All that he needed to do was to be one of the few to find them first and he would easily rise within the ranks of the Legionnaires. Looking around, Ventrik could sense the presence of his companions, however, he could not spot them just yet. He had no doubt that they would unite soon enough.

The Echani had no interest of the other secrets held within these libraries. His only strength lay in his power, and his ambitions solely reflected on increasing it. Influence was another form of power, and he knew that he would need to increase his reach on the galaxy if he wished to become stronger. Looking around again, Ventrik found himself spotting a familiar red shirt in the crowd, letting out a small grin, he nodded in the direction of his first companion.

Orion Shattou would be among the group of tourists. He bore a open black long sleeve shirt and khaki shorts with sandles. His usually white bandage that was wrapped around his face was gone and instead his eyesockets were covered with a black pair of sunglasses with the edges on the side. He walked among the group and was well aware of his fellow Sith Eternals among them. Their force energy giving off of him as he could see it and the everything around them like it was if he had eyes. The front leading the group of tourists was boasting facts, making lame puns and jokes and overall diving deep into the history of the place. Orion could care less, His usual creepy, eerie smirk still splattered on his face as his silver hair trickled the edges of his black shades. His muscular and tall figure seemed relaxed and content as he walked among the crowd and felt the force guide his surroundings, the color of ones shirt, their features, etc..Pictures painted in his head just as they were in person.

The group was tasked to find the hypergates and the call was answered with this crowd. Shifting his glasses a bit before continuing his walk with the group. Moving towards the central part of the library, Orion would watch Magnum and the others begin to shift to the back as he joined them, Not saying a word or even acknowledging the fellow Sith Eternals as trying to keep to random tourists. He would wait for their move as he watched the main group slowly begin to drift off and the voices of the useless facts and history begin to echo down the hallway.

Dice Thread

It was when they were in the center of the archives that Magnum tried to make his move. Find the right place to slip away and have his companions follow. Not an assured thing, but if he got caught, he'd be the one to take the blame without the security being any the wiser. Oddly enough, that was exactly what happened. As he tried to take a right past a row of shelves leading further in, he nearly bumped into a security guard who had just been turning the corner. No way to get away without being seen, so he decided to play his part. He threw up his hands, laughing nervously as the guard's surprise started to turn to suspicion.

"Whoa! Whoop, that's my bad. I don't know why I thought the bathroom would be down this way, I THOUGHT that other guy sounded weird saying this was a shortcut. You okay there, buddy? I didn't mean to run into you." The guard's suspicion started to ease a bit, the story a common one yet still having protocol to follow. He gestured for Magnum to follow him back into the main area, to guide to the actual bathroom. He'd be under watch for now...but his comrades weren't. Maybe a blessing could be made out of the bad luck so far.

For the most part, the tour so far was pretty fascinating. Whilst she would imagine that the other members tasked to seeking out information of the Hypergates, were perhaps not in the least bit interested in the history of the Archives or even the extents that the cavernous almost city sized span of the building itself. Alyse was pleasantly surprised at the wealth of information that the guide was imparting, even though there were the odd groan being illicted at the questionable choice in puns and jokes. Yet she knew that she was here to carry out her task, to assist with the efforts to recover the lost information on the Hypergates - but as to how she was going to do that?

Her gaze ever panning around her, taking in the winding maze of bookshelves that spanned off of the tourist's path - occasionally taking in the passing sight of a security guard patrolling. Her attention was pulled away from scoping out a means of breaking from the group, as the sound of laughter and a familiar sounding voice rang out from behind her. A brief cursory feel of the Force that flowed around her, confirming that the presence of one of the Cultist members had moved away from the group, and presumably had been caught in his attempt to break free.

Pursing her lips in thought, the blonde cultist contemplated on how to perhaps create an opportunity for the others to make a break for it. Without any word or warning, Alyse threw her hand out to the side - grabbing onto the wrist of the nearest tourist. "Sorry, I'm not feeling too great" she spoke out, through a shaky voice before taking a few uneasy steps forward - her grip tightening on the man's wrist, who in turn reached out to try and steady the young blonde. Before the man had a chance to inquire whether she was OK, Alyse slumped her body down onto floor with a dull thud. A few gasps of surprise emanated from those immediately around her before the man called out to the guide. "We need some help back here, this lass has passed out"

The tour group had come to a sudden standstill, as the tour guide and the rest of the group's attention fell upon the 'unconcious' woman. The guide calling up on their comms link to the nearby security personnel, requesting their assistance with one of the visitors who had taken a turn. It seemed that the ploy had worked better than intended, as not only was the tour group's attention pulled onto the young cultist but any near by security would soon arrive to provide assistance.

As he began formulating a plan to slip away, he noticed a certain flamboyant khaki-wearing man causing a minor scene with a guard. With a sigh, Ventrik was about to move towards Magnum when he heard the yell, "We need some help back here, this lass has passed out" As the other tourists began to flock toward the noise, Ventrik saw the blonde-haired Guardian "passed out" on the floor. With a smile, he understood what was happening and turned to leave.

The guards were all drawn to the area, the commotion was clearly large enough to distract them from their other tasks. Even the one with Magnum was rushing over to the area. Without being seen, Ventrik slipped away from the large group and down a random hallway. He allowed the force to guide him in his decision and the force was generous today.

As he rushed down a random hallway, he noticed that there were no other people nearby. Looking around, he spotted keywords on the shelves relating to hyperspeed and space travel. Hopefully, I'm in the right place... He continued to look through the archives.

Orion Shattou would watch as he was shifting back from the group. It seemed Magnum ended up walking into a security card, Alyse pulled a faint with the main group to get them distracted and the last one got out free. Orion would let himself stay near the back as he tried to slip out and hopefully make it out like the rest..
No luck. It seems like luck wasn't on his side for the blind Miraluka. It would only take him to slip out the group in attempt to join the others before one of the main leaders of the group spotted him and came rushing over. She was very bubbly and persistent as she grabbed his arm smiling "
Oh honey! are you lost? The groups this way." her smile was huge as she grasped Orions arms and walked him back to the main group.

It seemed he would be stuck with them for a little bit now. Surely the group leader would keep a eye out on him more in good heart so he wouldn't get lost anymore. Orions demeanor stayed the same as his black shades covered his sockets and kept his hands in his pockets as he walked off with the group making their way down the hallway. He would try to give them a last ditch attempt when he had the right chance again. Letting his mind connect to the fellow Sith Eternals he would say in his monotone cold voice.."
Busted..I will try to get to you..If i don't kill this girl." the agony of his pain as her bubbly bright voice could be heard spitting out useless facts and rambling on to the group.
