Right past the main storage area, they'd move through a wide open hallway, with fine plasteel walls along the way. To the left was Laeonas' gymnasium, containing all the equipment he'd kept in the back left corner of the original storage room. Benches, a pull up bar, dumbells, a mat, and a punching bag adorned the room. It was simple equipment, but it was something he was familiar with. Most of his exercises had always been calesthenic in nature anyways.
The next room was much more well furnished. Across the wall was a 70 inch holoscreen. A large, leather bound sofa stretched across the room. The plasteel bulkhead was painted burgundy in this room, while the floors were lined with velvet carpet. Considering the coffee table and cabinet for drinks behind the sofa, it was probably a bad idea to line the floor with fabric. Laeonas didn’t mention it at all as they’d move on.
The next was, surprisingly enough, a kitchen. Even the gym was better furnished than this room. There was a simple, square steel table and chair in the corner. Against a wall was a two doored refrigerator with an ice dispenser. The appliances were modern, but they weren’t exaclty impressive. Nothing hung on the walls. Nothing furnished the room besides this. It was bland, a place for eating, and nothing more.
Than, there was the bedroom.
“Now, as ya can see, there’s tha bed; Ai ordered tha king size a few days ago, and the sheets were picked by a designer.” He explained, walking into the room. The walls were painted a simple, light grey shade, while the floor was while and black stone tile. The furniture, besides the bed itself, was relatively simple; durasteel cabinets, end tables, lamps. The simplicity of it all was a style that had come naturally to the man, in spite of how… excessive he tended to be in other ways.
“Course, there’s also the walk in closet, tha master bathroom, but that shite doesn’t matter.” He’d handwave both away, mostly because his closet was mostly empty, and because there was one, final room of interest. It didn’t take them long to move through that singular hallway, up through the final set of doors. Opening with a hiss, a single chair, a massive panel of buttons, receivers, levers, switches and other controls, as well as a few monitors on the side walls greeted them. It was obviously the cockpit.
“Chair’s nice, but it ain’t as comfy as ya think.” He began, taking a seat and swiveling it around. “Panels aren’t fit fer sittin’, walls aren’t fit fer leanin’. Only one place in the whole room to sit down, and th’at’s this chair. Or at least, it would be, if I weren’t ‘ere instead.” He explained, crossing those mesh covered legs of his.
“Well?~”
