Setting: Coruscant Underworld, Level 1782
Topic: Secret Meeting Between Arritef Selanus and Jaceson Lightsworn

Arritef walked at a rather brisk pace through the mounds of destroyed ships and utilities, making sure to dodge any passerby. He didn't want any trouble today; this meeting was far too important for that. Arritef was located on Coruscant, deep within the underworld. Level 1782 is a gigantic junkyard used by people throughout the galaxy. For many miles there is nothing but heaps of trash and the occasional hovel. Trash might be stretching it, as one could find just about anything in the world to do with a ship here, whether it was functioning or not was a different story though. Arritef glanced at what appeared to be a broken down Jedi ship from the war. He went to inspect it, curious as to its contents, but found that it had already been raided, probably long before Arritef even learned of the existence of this junkyard. He kept walking along the erratically carved paths of trash with seemingly no destination. Arritef was actually headed to a location he had found as a young child. It wasn't what you could call a home, but it was a temporary refuge that he had to escape to. It wasn't well-known, but it wasn't hidden either. Any lowlife lurking deep within the depths of the underworld would know of the thousands of places just like it down here. Passing by several familiar heaps, Arritef made it to the location. Entering the poorly constructed hut, he lit up an archaic lantern and surveyed the premise. "This will do nicely" He thought.

Looking down at his communicator, he sent a signal to the man he needed to see. He punched in a few coordinates and gave the affirmative for Lightsworn to come meet him. He then simply sat in a ready position and waited. He was armed, but he held no ill will. Initially, Arritef had thought that it would be easiest to assassinate this man. He knew far too much and was far too clever to be left alone. After giving it a little thought and getting over his initial fear of discovery, Arritef realized how foolish that would be. If he was really a Jedi as Arritef believed, then he would be a powerful ally. If he wasn't, then he still would prove to be one. Not to mention Arritef wasn't certain of his chances of assassinating the man, all things considered. If he was indeed a Jedi, Arritef would be hard-pressed in a fight. While confident in his ability to win nonetheless, he wasn't going to risk it for foolishness. Hopefully, if everything went well in this meeting, not only would Arritef gain a powerful ally and possibly friend, but ADI would as well. "I hope he is who I think he is......"

Jace had gotten the message over his holo to meet up with Arritef on Coruscant level 1782. How odd that he would want to meet on Coruscant instead of this world, his boss must be there for the Senate. Good thing about knowing this guy works for a Senator you always know where to find him. But finding him on Coruscant would not be easy, even with cordinates and what level would take him several hours once he landed to reach Arritef.

Jace quickly warmed up the hyper drive and paid his docking fees, he was on his was in less than five minutes. He knew how to get his ship to max speed as fast and safe as possible, he arrived on Coruscant in just a few minutes. His ship was faster than most it's size, he prided himself on keeping it one of the best out there. Once he arrived in Coruscant airspace he made a call the the security, gave his ships ID and his intent.

They let him through with no issue, he so far had not had any issue with the id since he accuired the Nightwing. He flew down to the closet Space port he could find to level 1782, which was till a 3 hours trip there by normal means. He did not have the time for that, nor really the patients to be struck in Coruscant's traffic too much. So he brought out the ships only speeder and used his holo to set up a way point and headed out.

It only took him 1 hour to reach level 1782, and about 30 minites od walking to reach this little hut. He stopped about 30 yards away and sent out a force pulse, just a minor one. No need to walk into a trap, but all he could sense was Arritef waiting for him. Jace would bet that how fast he got here would shock him.

Jace entered the hut with one hand in his front Jacket pocket on his lightsaber. This was done so casually that even the trained eye would see it as a comforting gesture, not a ready one. Jace smiled as he said. ""You know changing worlds so quick could give a guy the feeling that you want him unsettled. Is that it Arritef?" He laughs as he offers his hand for a handshake.

"It is not my desire that you should feel discomfited. Please, take a seat."
Arritef said, taking the proffered hand and giving it a light shake. Jace seemed relaxed. That was either very good or very bad. It could even be both.

"It would be a waste of both our time to......beat around the bush? Is that it?"
Arritef halfway asked. "I want to know how you are aware of my force sensitivity. Why were you really at the party?"

"I was arlt that party for the same reason's as anyone, to make contact's and to help people in need. As to how your force sensitive you only just confirmed my theory. But the way my simple force pulse put you so on edge at that party was a dead give away. Also you seemed to have preformed knowledge that bordered on disdain for force users. That generally comes from someone that is sensitive to the force but not very trained. So why did you ask me to meet you here? Do you plan on having me killed? Does you trepidation of your own power scare you that much."

Jace had taken his seat and was relaxed and calm the whole time. He said all of this in a normal conversational tone. If he had done it any other way it could be seen as condensing. Maybe even dickish, depending on the tone used. But with how he said it was as if this is was the most normal conversation in the world.

Arritef was slightly taken aback by the man's observations. "Did I seem that hostile?" He asked. "I specifically pointed out that it was strictly in the interest of avoiding controversy and violence. I have no dislike for them myself, and my power scares me certainly, but far more than that it intrigues me beyond anything else."

Arritef had made an error in judgement insulting force-users as he did. He didn't realize he had come across so aggressively against them. He had merely meant to point out their general disposition towards being the cause of discord. "I apologize for seeming that way. I assure you that nothing could be further from the truth, except in the case of the Sith." He said.

"In response to your question as to whether or not I intend to have you killed, I will not pretend that the thought hadn't crossed my mind initially. I recognized after my initial shock at the party though how foolish that would most likely be, as well as the tenuous chances of actually beating you." Arritef admitted. "Now I simply wish to learn some more about you and your cause. Depending on your responses and my perception of how well you can be trusted, I would like the opportunity to train under your tutelage, so that I might learn more about the Force, and come to understand and utilize it."

Arritef sat with bated breath, wondering what his response would be. He raised his head and looked the man in the eyes, waiting to see what would come next.

"Very few people would want to meet out here unless they werej't sure how their meeting would turn out. To be honest of the thought of killing me hadn't crossed your mind I would be very disappointed. While I do not follow the Jedi I reject the Sith, I follow my own path. My cause as you call it is to one day free my people from the rule of a evil group of my own people. I need allies to that end. As to training you I only have 10 years training myself, but I would be happy to share my knowledge with you.

Jace smiled at Arritef, if a person was watching they could see more pain than just an enslaved world behind his words. He offered all that without his charm, just as the truths it was. He would see how Arritef takes all that. Jace's next words and actions would depend on how he takes that.

Arritef gave the man a genuine smile, both excited at the prospect of learning even the smallest thing more about the force, as well as at the knowledge that Jace's cause, if he was being honest, was seemingly a noble one. "I would be very grateful to train with you." He said, bowing his head once again. "As for allies, I might be able to help you there. Part of the reason for my desire to meet here is because Mr. Krass and I are creating a defensive organization. In a few words, it will serve as a special operations military for the Republic, as well as a humanitarian military for hire. Is that something you would be interested?" Arritef asked.

"Of course that would be we would be willing and able to assist you in your endeavors, so long as they mesh with our goals, which by the sound of things they do." Arritef fell silent and watched for a reaction, hoping that the man would agree. He would be a powerful ally and hopefully teacher. His ideals would seem to fit well with the group. After all, the whole lot of them fall into a morally grey category. They will do wrong for the right reasons. "So what will it be, Mr. Lightsworn? Of course, you don't have to decide now. Should you express interest, feel free to contact me, or arrange a visit with Mr. Krass."

Arritef decided to linger a few minutes to see if the man would come to a quick decision. If possible, Arritef wanted to begin collaboration on projects for the ADI, as well as training with the man as soon as possible.

"This sounds interesting, how about this you. You get me a meeting with the Senator and let me see what he is about. I would be more than willing to join you guys, helping people is what I was born to do. Either way I will help you train your powers. If you get me a meeting lets keep the part about me having force powers between us. How does that sound?"

Jace smiled at Arretif and offered his hand in settling this. He waited for the answer that could change their world's forever.

Arritef sat for a moment in thought. "It would be wrong to simply not inform Aren about something as important as this." He thought. "But it would perhaps be more beneficial to have him as an ally As long as I know his true power I can keep tabs on him to ensure he behaves appropriately."

"That would be agreeable." He said with a smile. "I will arrange for a meeting on Corellia next within the next week. Thank you for your time, Mr. Lightsworn. This has been an enlightening and truly fruitful gathering. Have a good day."

With that, Arritef began walking off towards the landing platform of the level, eager to begin his training and to learn more about Lightsworn.

Jace smiled as Arritef left, he had him he knew that this was the best outcome he could have hoped for. He got up and walked out. Grabbed his speeder and headed back to to his shop, he knew better to let more than a smile show here. He could be under servalence, he was being as truthful as he could be here. He didn't want to hurt anyone he just needed help for his people, of by chance he could take out a few sith he would be happy.

Jace made it to his ship and locked it down. He didn't want anyone sneaking up on him, he ran a systems scan to make sure his ship was clean. After he confirmed that he put on his workout gear and readied his lightsabers. He needed a few hours of practice to work off his stress.
