Sinata watched her homeworld from the window of her adopted father's ship. Coruscant wasn't nearly as grand from space as it was on the ground. Now, the planet was just a dark sphere, with lights from cities scribbled onto it's face, like tacky decorations. Despite this, the sight of it sent a shiver of excitement down Sinata's spine. She was finally on her first hunt! Granted, it was just some criminal lowlife, wanted for breaking and entering, but that barely mattered to her right now. Finally, all the training would be put to the test. She made some last minute checks on her Mabari armor and weapons. They had been gifts from Kal on the day he adopted her. She was determind to put them to good use.

Kal set the Jericho onto the designated landing platform. He unbuckled and got out of his pilot's chair. He stretched out a kink in his back and threw on his weapon laded jacket.

Sinata grinned nervously up at her father as she finished the last of her equipment checks. "I hope so. I'm pretty sure all my gear is ready." 'Pretty sure' was an understatement. She had checked her gear almost constantly during the journey to Coruscant and everything had been cleaned, loaded, and readied in every way, shape, and form possible. If things didn't go according to plan, her gear wouldn't be to blame.
Kal smiled, he knew how nervous she must be, he also knew the myriad of checks she had performed on her gear, just like he had taught her.
"Alright, here's the lowdown. The target's name is Jake Lendel, he's wanted for breaking and entering and petty theft. Alive, not dead. It's a relatively small bounty, one thousand credits, but the money is yours if you get him. I'll be going with you to offer advice and support if things get tough but this is your hunt. Just use what I taught you and you'll do fine."

Ic: "Well, it's not going to be very useful just guessing where he's hiding, so maybe we should check with the CSF to see if they have any tips." Sinata closed her eyes for a few moments, remembering the map of Coruscant's downtown she had looked over earlier. "The main headquarters shouldn't be too far from here."

Kal was brimming with pride, his little girl, and she was his daughter, even though he adopted her, was doing quite well so far, using everything Kal had taught her and putting it to good use.

Sinata smiled to herself as she walked, her eyes distant as she recalled the map. The CSF headquarters was only a few blocks away and it didn't take long for her to reach it. Before she went in, she carefully put the armor's veil over her face, so only her eyes showed. It was better that the CSF officers thought she was just short, than seeing her face and realizing she was a child.
She walked into the headquarters, her eyes looking over the main room. There was a desk with multiple bounties posted behind it. She approached the desk, eyes scanning the multiple pictures and names until she saw the one she was looking for.
"May I help you?" a droid whirred as it appeared from behind the desk. Sinata nodded, pointing to the name and picture of her target, "Jake Lendel." she said, "He's the one I'm looking for. Has any information been collected on his whereabouts?" The droid paused, searching it's memory banks, "Yes, I believe we have information on his whereabouts. An informant has told us he was recently sighted in a bar called 'The Krayt's Bite' in the 32nd West district. Police searches of the bar have proved fruitless, though." The droid paused, before speaking again, "Your height and body structure suggest youth. May I inquire your age?"
Think fast, "That's none of your business!" Sinata snapped, doing her best to sound indignant.
"My apologies." the droid whirred soothingly, "I understand many female sentients are hesitant in sharing their ages."
Sinata did her best not to laugh as she walked out of the headquarters.

Kal kept a perfectly straight face, looking for all the world like a dumb brute of a bodyguard but inside he was smiling at Sinata's treatment of the droid and her intelligence to hide her age.
When the walked out he said, "I know the Krayt's Bite, very rough place in a very rough part of town. I used to go there quite often. Still know some people there. Also, the bartender there has a gambling problem and is VERY open to monetary persuasion."

"Good," Sonata said, nodding slightly, "If the bartender's hiding any information, it shouldn't be too hard to bribe him. The thought of going into a rougher part of town wasn't very intimidating anymore. Sonata had learned a lot since she was last on Coruscant and was pretty confident she could handle things much better. Plus I have weapons, now. Sonata thought with a wry smile.
She recalled the map again and now started off to the 32nd West district. The more they progressed, the worse the neighborhood got. Coruscant went from grand and proud to dirty and shady pretty fast. She past multiple bars, each sporting it's own menacing title until she finally saw one with the name 'Krayt's Bite' in a worn metal sign above the door.
