80's anime/sci fi feel

I just have this fun idea for the next timeline, that I think I'm going to try to implement with one of my two planned characters. He's a bodyguard running a bodyguard company trying to grow. He'll probably get dragged into more adventures than MacGyver in the process.

And then it struck me. It would be really fun to (somehow...lord knows how to do it) have all my roleplays starring him, written with kind of an 80s anime and science fiction feel to them. You guys know what I'm talking about. Everything was different in the 80s as far as anime and movies went. The music was different, the clothes obviously, the atmosphere... It's not something you can accurately put into words obviously, but I'm sure a lot of you know what I'm talking about.

Anyway, that. How cool would it be to emulate 80's pop culture in roleplays? >___> I for one think it would be awesome. <__<

I dig it. Not entirely sure how to do it aside from the obvious stuff... still, that whole early-'80s cultural aesthetic is largely responsible for the Star Wars we all know and love.

my hutt cartel character will have an 80s vibe to her. i've planned that from day one that i thought of her.

I'm going to be going with a Twi'lek pilot for the start of the next TL. She's going to be a trained pilot who ditched the Navy to fly on her own, perhaps have her run into an old lover or something, not sure yet. The song below got me hooked on a Pilot character.

Edit: The Thumbnail doesn't really fit the style of the song, it's no Metal or anything similar. I'd say the song is Trance.

@Swedish Guy have you considered having her join my Ossein? I'm bringing them back in the next TL. They're basically all pilots.

I have not, @AutoFox, but I shall take a look at what the Ossein is, haven't looked much at other people's stuff. Mostly been working on my own to make sure I can have what I want to start out with for my character.
