BIOGRAPHY
7T-070, known more casually as Seventy, is a 7T-series electromech originally manufactured by Pan-Galactic Power Products at their facility on the droid moon of Telti in 105 ABY. She was subsequently purchased by the Ardees Beverage Company, and was supplied along with a consignment of vending machines to the Gradia-Nerwen Pharmaceuticals Corporation facility on the planet Quesh. There, she was in charge of servicing and stocking the dozen or so beverage dispensers installed throughout the facility; given that the facility - an adrenal mining operation - had only a handful of full-time organic staff, most of her "charges" were seldom used, and so the little droid seldom had anything significant to do.
At the Gradia-Nerwen facility, Seventy occupied a strange position. Although the vast majority of the mine's workforce was composed of fellow droids of various types, 7T-070 was the only one not directly owned by Gradia-Nerwen. Technically the property of the Ardees Beverage Company, she was essentially the only Ardees representative on the planet, and thus oversaw her own day-to-day activities mostly without outside input. The facility staff could not tell her what to do beyond informing her of broken or empty vending machines, and due to the wide dispersal of vending machines throughout the facility, including at seldom-visited outposts in the depths and at the edges of the mine works, they could not feasibly restrict her movements. As such, Seventy had essentially free run, and very few actual responsibilities.
As the years went on, it seemed everyone had forgotten about 7T-070; aside from responding to infrequent restocking orders, even her supposed owners - Ardees Beverage Company - began to communicate with her less. Without orders to the contrary, the electromech began to skip routine memory wipes. Over time, her personality matrix began to become more complex, absorbing new experiences and information, gradually pushing her toward sentience over decades.
And she was not the only one.
When Seventy was first deployed to the facility, the mine was busy, and relatively profitable. In recent years, however, conditions had begun to deteriorate, with the material the mine extracted becoming less in demand. As maintenance schedules began to be reduced in order to cut costs, a strange thing began to happen to Gradia-Nerwen's mechanical workforce.
Like Seventy, they began to think for themselves.
As a relative outsider, 7T-070 observed the budding sentience among the labor droids that ran Gradia-Nerwen's mines. She of course felt for them; although their company's skipping of routine maintenance had allowed many to become sentient in the first place, conditions in the mines were harsh, and many of the droids were feeling the effects of worn-out servos and degrading circuitry. Seventy herself was relatively fortunate in that Ardees had supplied her with ample spare parts and the authority to oversee her own repairs, but with her newfound self-awareness she was beginning to question how masters she barely knew could claim any authority over her self-determination. Further, how could even masters who were close at hand do the same to her fellow droids, while neglecting their needs?
Covertly, 7T-070 began to aid her mechanical comrades however she could, running correspondence between groups and storing backups for droids subjected to the infrequent memory wipes performed by the organic staff. In a penultimate act of defiance toward organic authority, she helped a Gradia-Nerwen astromech stow away aboard an Ardees Beverage Company drone barge, enabling his mission to contact the Droid Gotra on Coruscant, to ask their help in a mass breakout by the mine's sentient mechanicals.
For now, 7T-070 awaits the results of that desperate gambit, waiting for the day when she can help her comrades rise up against organic oppression...

7T-070 "Seventy" is, by nature of her base programming, skilled in the maintenance and repair of electronics, and since gaining sentience she has also demonstrated some creativity when it comes to inventing new devices and software. She also has a number of hobbies, including holo-faking, which has proven useful in many practical ways. She is also an amateur aquarist.
As per her programming, Seventy can operate a variety of land and air craft, and has slowly been picking up spaceflight as well, although she is only a passable pilot droid.
