The chase had been going on for nearly a week now. The game of planet hopping cat and mouse initially had been intriguing and somewhat fun for Rell, but it was beginning to lose its luster. Every time she let her quarry slip through her fingers more people were hurt or killed. As far as she was concerned, those lives were on her so there was no recourse but to see it through.
The criminal Rell was chasing - a Kel Dor named Doo Chooln - was a murderer, grifter, and overall just massive piece of shit. He was also extremely good at dodging the authorities. Rell had first caught wind of his activities on Phaeda and then managed to follow him to Ord Mantell before he figured out a Jedi was on his trail.
So of course, being smart criminal that he was, Doo had headed for the Core. A place Jedi were not supposed to tread. Of course, that meant pretty much nothing to Rell. She went where the Force told her to go, the "laws" didn't really mean much to her. Plus, as long as she didn't whip out her lightsaber and start brandishing it in the streets it wasn't like anyone would really know she was a Jedi anyway.
Rell arrived in Hanna City on public transit, her lightsaber tucked tightly away, far from the prying eyes of anyone who might have been looking. She had even opted for more casual looking clothing compared to anything traditionally Jedi as well.
For now, Rell was heading to one of the larger local cantinas to meet a contact of hers. They had some information on Doo they didn't feel comfortable sharing over the holonet. Inconvenient, but what could you do.
