    Rebels Season Three Trailer

Well you're in luck. They announced a new Timothy Zahn book; Thrawn. Soooo stoked.

Fallout 4. No Joke. It's coming.

Luckily, if you own a PC, there are... alternative... ways of getting DLC. Which is my plan. I've enjoyed Elder Scrolls Online more than I've enjoyed Fallout 4.

Timeline Change Date and FL Applications

Maaaaaaan that was my favourite moment on this site. Dakar hid his deception in plain-site perfectly. For all you youngins, I was the Dark Lord back in the... third timeline, and my second was the disgraced former Grand Master of the Jedi. My character was, described simply, a Sith sorcerer. He...

    Faction Training and Ranks

Just FYI with the super-young Knights. The new timeline is set in the midst of one of the most destructive and all-consuming wars the Galaxy has seen. The Jedi, during this period, have gone from monkish peacekeepers to full-fledged warriors. Promoting capable teenagers (like... 15+) to the rank...

The Force Awakens - Thoughts and Reactions (SPOILERS WITHIN)

Not to mention that was Ulic Qel-Droma's plan in the KotOR comics. He pretended to go rogue in order to infiltrate the Krath before being seduced to the dark side by Exar Kun. So there is a precedent in Star Wars. Personally I don't believe it's the case.

New Timeline: Dawn of the Republic

While not true in Legends the recent Rebels episode certainly suggests that interdiction ships weren't a thing until the Empire.

The Force Awakens - Thoughts and Reactions (SPOILERS WITHIN)

Episode I established that a lightsaber has resistance when moving through solid matter. Qui-Gon requiring to slowly cut through the blast doors on the Droid Command Ship. There is far more canon to support lightsabers having weight than there is supporting them being weightless now.

New Timeline: Dawn of the Republic

Yes and no. The Mandalorians, to me, aren't honorable, and reflect the reality of the various samurai clans during the Sengoku Jidai. The Samurai of the Sengoku Jidai as viewed through 200 years of peaceful romanticism are essentially Jedi.

The Force Awakens - Thoughts and Reactions (SPOILERS WITHIN)

Plasma has mass and thus weight behind it. The technobabble involved in explaining how a lightsaber is even feasible/possible is rather staggering. It is comparatively simple and straightforward to explain that the plasma, when energized, imparts mass and thus weight. Also, you wouldn't WANT...

New Timeline: Dawn of the Republic

This is no more true than comparing them to Klingons. Mandalorians have few real-world analogues and the ones that do exist are imperfect. First and foremost they are a culture built around war and conflict. There is no real-world parallel for that. The closest we get are cultures with prominent...

The Force Awakens - Thoughts and Reactions (SPOILERS WITHIN)

TBH I have always disliked viewing the force as a series of discrete abilities and techniques. I have never RPed utilizing specific Force Powers. Also, that's a totally realistic explanation. You have little to no chance of deflecting blaster bolts without the aid of the force, thus making...

The Force Awakens - Thoughts and Reactions (SPOILERS WITHIN)

Slaughter=/=fight his class in a straight duel. He likely butchered them when they were vulnerable. Also, Kylo doesn't even know how to properly make a lightsaber. He's shown to be proficient in the force, it's never shown he is all that capable in a duel. In fact the movie gives the distinct...

The Force Awakens - Thoughts and Reactions (SPOILERS WITHIN)

There's actually no indicator in the new canon that lightsaber requires previous training or force sensitivity to use at a rudimentary level. The leader of Death Watch wielded the darksaber to great effect against Anakin and Obi-Wan.

The Force Awakens - Thoughts and Reactions (SPOILERS WITHIN)

Kylo was shot in the gut by Chewie's bowcaster, which is enough to kill a regular human outright. That's, directorialy, why he kept slamming his fist into his side, so the audience would remember his being shot. In universe it was to harness the pain to keep himself standing. He was...

The Force Awakens - Thoughts and Reactions (SPOILERS WITHIN)

You're just not hearing it clearly because of the explosion. It is the exact same inflection as when he yells "curses!" later in the video. He is not saying "cousin".

The Force Awakens - Thoughts and Reactions (SPOILERS WITHIN)

Someone didn't watch their own video closely enough, then. He clearly says "curses!" a few minutes later in that video after being hit (25:15). It's just what he says when he gets hit, which happened to trigger immediately after he said "face me!".

    Think Tank Applications

I mean, I think I can get like... some kind of pass on that because it was my idea to go ~1,000ABY. This is my timeline. Coincidentally the timeline I have been least active in.

    Think Tank Applications

I would like to apply and then subsequently contribute nothing to the further development of the timeline. My experience is joining the think-tank last timeline and subsequently contributing nothing to the further development of the timeline.

    Main Battles Moving Forward

Death is a part of character development. My favorite thread I ever took part in resulted in my Dark Lord of the Sith being completely blindsided (along with me irl) by my apprentice, the former Grandmaster of the Jedi Order. It ended with Darth Nexus being paralyzed and decapitated in a coup...
