Does your ruling set in stone that Artello Must use the jumpers even if his intent is to be facing the opponent to defend the incoming bolts? Because it was my honest belief that there was nothing physically stopping him from being able to face his opponent while moving, which I was on the side...
Like this: The feet move the body one way, but the torso is rotated to face the enemy/to strafe.
The video game character is running from the left to right of the screen, but he is shooting perpendicular to where he is running.
Edited to reflect the results of the ruling: that Artello cannot face his opponent while strafing and that he thus cannot use his lightsaber to defend the bolts.
- I would still argue that Artello would have more than ample time to manifest the concentration necessary, no matter how much or how little it would take to Force Pull the wookie character before the XPC fire was shot seeing that Valen would first have to holster his lightsaber and then draw...
The speeder bikes burst into the base entirely focused on the Storm Troopers pouring blaster bolts down the alley specifically chosen to lure the speeder bikes into. They had less trouble taking the bait, but as they came onto the far back barricade and were about to make another round, Artello...
Although, I think the main issue is the timing of the events to perform in the time it takes for Artello to perform the start to a strafe and a Force Pull is not able to be performed by the time Valen's Jedi character is able to holster his lightsaber, raise his rifle, and aim on a moving target...
Well, it was in fact a Force pull, and not a very strong one at that as it is only strong enough to cause it to stumble rather that grip and lurch the wookie forward with incredible force -he isn't trying to maintain anything as in a grip, just an instantaneous distracting pull.
And Artello is...
Toasty- I suppose that Artello wouldn't know that until then.
1. I don't think he is performing too many actions. There is an offense, a defense, and a movement, which is standard.
He began his offense and movement at the moment he saw Valen begin to raise the rifle, as Valen would fist have to...
In interest of moving the thread forward and a lack of importance to where the duel takes place, I've made bare minimum edits to perfectly reflect that all combatants are outside. It is @Versok 's turn to post if all is well ni the neighborhood.
Artello watched as the rain steamed off of Angela as she exited her own craft. It was a clever use of the Force, and he was sure it would cause a bit of unease in some of the security guards that were already wavering their sights on them by the command of their leader of whom was already facing...
Well, there is no mention to the idea that they were outside, only that they were behind a barricade with the Bothan Commander, and that doesn't necessarily mean that they are outside. The only mention to them being outside or inside is when I mentioned Artello standing in the room behind the...
Well, the headquarters that would lead from the command center in which they currently reside. For the rebels, that would make it a base as I would assume that their base of operations didn't include only the command center.
The wookie was indeed quite tall, and it was almost laughable how in comparison to his fellow Jedi, he towered above human kind to even dwarf some of the largest Sith he'd seen in his line of work. In fact, if the wookie were to reach out his hand to punch his fellow Jedi, his fist would barely...
Well, as I am currently in two OPEN threads as it is, I probably wont be able to, but we have a week or two, right? I would be interested in helping out if one of my OPEN missions finishes in time! Call me interested.
The Lord from Ord Cantrell saw a storm trooper fall from the catwalk below him as a red hole smoked from the body far below after contacting the ground. However, Artello stuck with his task and looked down the scope at one of the two approaching parties of Mandos taking cover behind boulder. One...
