@Outlander Oh really now? It's the Cubs year. They say there's 108 laces on a baseball, Back to the Future 2 predicted that they win, Wrigley is on 108. It's their year. We deserve it. It's been 108 years.. I think it's time we made it. We got the best guys in the business. They finally put Schwarber back in. We're gonna do it.
You only won because the Umpires weren't going by the rules. The strike zones weren't correct. The strike zone for the Cubs were everywhere, but when one of your hitters swings through without hitting a ball, it's called a strike, not a ball. Your team cheated.
We won because we got 6 runs, they called strikes on Carlos Santana's ankles! Your players are standing deep inside the box and getting cutters inside, they're a strike everytime!
Sure they are. Let's explain how we just won?? Let's just put it this way. The Indians and other teams don't follow standard baseball rules. The cubs play by the original book and play the game as it is with no bs.
They're a good team. We have a non-bs coach and I actually know some of the guys on the team. I met them before they got into the big leagues. Believe me, I know my team and I will hold them to a high standard because I know they can be that good or else they wouldn't be where they are right now.
As I know my Indians, I'm just saying its ridiculous to say that the cubs play original baseball and the rest of the league doesnt, what does that even mean lol?
Ohhh I see.. explaining it more.. thoroughly, the league is funding the Umpires and they're calling calls that aren't by the book and they're being overly nitpicky with the Cubs. In Example, say the Indians swing at something that should be a strike and instead they walk him; that's what I mean by not by the book or cheating.
I don't think the league is conspiring against the Cubs for the Indians to win, they'd actually make way more money if the Cubs beat the Indians than the Indians beating the cubs.
Good question. (wasn't technically a question, ik, but still) They do it all the time. I honestly think it's because they don't like Madden. The league favors other teams. Sometimes they call the right pitches, but there are times that they are making it a little obvious with some teams the Cubs play.
I know most of this stuff though from my dad. Before he met my mom, he was being drafted into the Cubs, but he ended up blowing out his shoulder, so he couldn't play.
