Croatia, Serbia and the Chech Republick announced they are going to rename their three states in an effort to unite the eastern EU countries and quell their growing nationalistic movements.
According to Andrej Kiska the Prime minister of Slovenia, who brought up the idea in the first place, the sheer difficulty of telling the individual countries apart “will aid greatly in reconciling any and all divides that exist in the region”.
Future plans apparently also exist. As phrased by Miro Cerar the President of Slovakia, the ideas is to simply “rename the whole region Slovia and be done with it.”
