its so i can look up ships from the era

It's somewhere around 1000 years prior to The Phantom Menace, but any old ships from that era are no longer canon, so you shouldn't use them. Instead, I recommend looking through the tech profile board for stuff that would work.

Other than that, there isn't actually a specified year, anyways, just to keep the actual time period mutable so that it can be moved around to any empty spaces needed in case canon stories end up being made for this time period.
