I've rebooted it multiple times. Shuts down in like 5 minutes. Once I have some time tomorrow, I'm going to do some fiddling. Try Prudence's method and see what I can do. In the mean time, I have my laptop.
Move your important files to online storage and format your PC. Then do a clean install and voila! Your PC runs smoothly again. If it does not there might be an issue with hardware.
Its an old computer, 2007. I wouldnt be surprised tbh. But I'm grasping at what I can since I can't afford a new one right now haha I did a factory reset the other day. Helped for a couple days but its still acting up now.
