He sliced her in half and cut her heart basically. She's not saving material. I would love for you to save her, but I don't know if you can heal an artery, heart plus put her skin back together.

She can survive being bisected, the heart thing is....kinda impossible....sorry. Everything else is survivable. Did he stab her through the heart Im guessing?

Just took a look at the thread. Hate to break it to you, but the thread is definitely an Open thread, and wasn't specified to be a non-death enabled one. Since it wasn't specified and (I assume) you didn't oppose it, Phoenix didn't need permission to join in. Not only that, but...you don't need to ask if you can kill a character before you do. If you're in an open thread, it's a possibility.

Ral asked him to join without me knowing. But other than that being unexpected, I was not expecting a harsh PvP, and last and most of all, I had no plans in killing Maddison. My point is that communication is key.

True, but in an open thread anything is basically possible/permissible. What was the purpose of the thread to begin with?

If it was just supposed to be between you two, it should have been an Ask thread.

The point was that Cassus and Maddison were sent on a mission together without knowing one another and then in the end, they were supposed to possibly fall in love. And in the beginning it did start as an Ask thread.

Just fyi standard is death enabled. Unless the thread is explicitly stated as death disabled in the OP. Otherwise all threads are death enabled.

If you're attached to your characters and don't like PvP, then be very cautious before entering or making open threads. I can't cope with PC death or combat so I avoid them at all costs (unless they are purely social/no-death).

That said, Rae, you have my sympathies. I can't live without my characters and I don't even want to imagine how awful it feels to lose one only a few weeks after making them. You're coping much better than I would.
