New Tech Admin

Please join me in welcoming Seamus, otherwise known as Lucid, back to the admin team! A few years ago, Seamus was one of our tech admins, working with Hassan. Now, Hassan has decided that after 8 years, it's finally time for him to take a much-deserved retirement. With Seamus active on SWRP again, he became the natural successor to Hassan. Seamus will be working to make sure the site's tech stuff stays in tip top shape, and will help us move the site forward into an even better technical future.

I find it amusing people think Lucid had to be blackmailed or bribed back into office.

Lucid did this for the power, the control, and the knowledge that he and he alone has the power to protect this site, or destroy it.

Actually no, that's not at all the reason why I rejoined the administration team and I'm truly annoyed that people would think that I would do such a thing. Hassan has been wanting to retire for a long while now and I was gone from the site for a very long time for a bunch of different reasons. When I came back Hassan asked me if I'd like to resume my old position and I accepted partly as a personal favor to Hassan and also because SWRP needed a much more active technical administrator who'd be able to keep up with the demands and wants of both the owners and the users. Hassan does not currently have the drive or time to be active like that and I do; it was a natural progression from one person to the other.

That said, thanks everyone for the support and I hope to be able to continue to be an active member of the community and provide the technical services that this website requires.

Mate, I was in no way being serious, it was an attempt at humor and I do apologize for putting you in a bad light,

As you, Hassan, Endy and Icaro are the only people(to my knowledge) with the capability to run this site, I assumed that you were asked either by Hassan or Bac to come back to your old position. I did not assume it was blackmail or the want of control that brought you back. Both of those 'theories'(a stretch even calling them that) are jokes, neither of which are, or should be, taken seriously.

Regardless, congratulations on taking over. I have faith you'll do what's best for the site :CHappy
