The Jedi should be saying "Go Weiss!"

If I was the Jedi leader I'd be giving him a medal. He single-handedly halved the Bogan team...which sounds impressive till you remember he was on the Bogan team. His character set up em's death and then surrendered.

On another note, GOOD JOB, JEDI! Kit, Mars and Xeno, you guys were awesome. And thanks for being incredibly easy to work with and being respectful in this ooc thread. I'm sorry this battle dragged on like this and was such a headache, but hopefully it doesn't deter you from future battles lol And thanks for putting up with my overplanning on msn >.>

Halving the Bogan's forces was not Albedo's intentions. They originate from his thoughts of self-preservation. He didn't stand a chance alone against an opponent, so he thought he'd stand a better chance two-timing against a Jedi, thus he went to help fight Sreeya's character, only to have Sreeya manipulate Albedo's help to get Emma's character killed.

This thread isn't just for OOC chatter for those involved. Others can too. I spoke OOCly from the standpoint of my Jedi character, Zolotoy Tsviets. Not my fault that we're allowed to be active in more than one faction.

Tbh considering he only surrendered because he had OOC assurances that he would be allowed to live he should already be dead. But yeah, presuming your char at least gets a message away, I'm pretty sure there'll be a lot of characters happy to hunt Albeldo down...and I don't see the Dark Jedi bothering with taking him alive.

Actually, my decision to have Albedo surrender was before talking to Sreeya. Going by character due to his self-preservation, he would have gone with the way that held the greatest chance of his survival. Witnessing the death of Emma's character showed that he stood no chance against a duel with Val. Val had demonstrated superior speed so fleeing wasn't an opiton. The only viable option with the greatest chance of Albedo surviving was surrendering, as Jedi, for the most part, do not execute their prisoners.

Nope, I just have a problem with people who sign up for something, start something, and then chicken out cause they don't want their character to die.

Ols, drop it. Battle is done, so stop bitching about it still. We've all dealt with enough of it for 27 pages. Stop busting in now and trying to stir shit up for no reason. Point is, Weiss had no intention of entering the battle, so he just went with what his char would do. Perhaps Bogan are to blame for not picking up on the warning signs? If one of my teammates repeatedly displayed negativity about the fight before it even started, I would have at least talked to them one on one about it. If that was done, it would've been damn clear Weiss didn't wanna do this. So seriously, shut it.

Edit: Before you come up with the dumb argument of 'u get defensive so sumthing fishy', I'm only getting ticked because another stupid bitchfest is starting AFTER the fight ended already.

The whole thread the Bogan were banging on about how warrior like and un-Jedi like these Jedi were. You're seriously suggesting that your character sees an enemy kill your ally and then thinks "I don't want to die, so I'll lower all my defences and hope that in the midst of a furious battle, this dangerous, brutal Jedi take a plea for surrender from a mortal enemy sincerely and don't just kill me instead."

Maybe with the knowledge that Sreeya's a nice person and wouldn't just kill your character for the sake of it that's the most viable option, but don't say it was the best IC decision, because IC it's moronic. IC your best chance of survival would have been fleeing.

Regardless of who the writer is, Albedo would have surrendered. Fleeing and fighting were sure signs of defeat, but surrendering would have held a slim chance of survival.
