Originally posted here, but I feel like this proposal didn't get the attention it deserved. I don't want it to be forgotten, because it could boost site-activity tenfold.
I am sure every single one of you know those storytelling RPG games where a DM leads the group through their journey, such as Dungeons and Dragons, World of Darkness or maybe Forgotten Realms.
We are playing a similar game here, though we have some differences. We don't have complex character sheets or a hundred types of rolls. Our adventures, quests and character developments are identical.
Now plots are ran by players who take part. You can get a DM for it, but the whole concept was created by a player who's related. I have seen some great storytellers among our players. I suggest that a DM should be able to host her own plot, - without involving any of her characters, - invite players, invite other DMs if she wants to, and story-tell freely.
