Correct. Because new ships (excluding personal vessels owned by members, ones they could own regardless if in a faction) would be additional resources/assets, and would need approval for those expanded assets.

Alright. Yeah. I understand. The Captain PCs have only their personally owned vessel and whatever personally owned crew NPCs (still bound by personal wealth and such and has to be reasonable. My bad if that wasn't made clear in the write up. And I can lower starting assets to compensate for that, if you want.

So, basically, the faction doesn´t give us neither ship or crew, our characters must have earned it themselves, right?

Yeah. That way you can have whatever non-capital class ship you want and whatever crew to your liking (has to be kept reasonable). And you can still start out as so.

Those who get promoted to High Captain get a faction-owned capital class vessel. But we aren't going to start out with any. That will come when we get more assets approved down the line.
