The transport shuddered as it burst from hyperspace. Landing on rocks hurtling through space without atmosphere was one of Theran’s favorite activities. As always, he had somehow been roped into a march with death. He had sworn he was getting too old for suicide missions. Somehow, they kept finding him and he kept agreeing to them. He needed to stop drinking. Theran was hunched over in the belly of the dropship with a handful of other foolish teammates.

Three identical ships hurtled towards the surface of a barren asteroid for a ‘hot drop.’ He could feel his spine compressing as the ship groaned. Their infinitely wise superiors had set their eyes on an Imperial prize. Crabby old Emperor Melon-head had hidden away a super-duper top-secret research facility on the barren asteroid Theran was about to vacation on. Well, not that secret. The Mandalorians had discovered the facility and decided the great Fruit had enough toys. The Empire needed to be taught how to share.

They had been charged with stealing anything that might be valuable and blowing up the rest. He was most excited for the explosions. The dropships would land several clicks from the facility. The squad of SuperCommandos would take speeders the rest of the way. Each of them had a special gift to deliver to the Imperials. Theran smiled. He loved his job. There was no better feeling than risking your life for something stupid. He didn’t care what tech the Empire had, he didn’t really care about the war. He just wanted to shoot people and blow things up. That is all he had ever wanted. Theran’s philosophical musings had occupied his mind as the ships landed. One last massive shudder hit the transports. He slapped his helmet on and his armor sealed. Time for a little fun. @Apollyon

Viz gripped the barrel of her heavy repeater tightly, not because she was nervous or scared of what was coming. She was a trained killer, death was just a part of her life up to this point but it was because of the interstellar travel. Viz never did well in ships, floating through space, it made her feel helpless and that is what terrified her.

Viz remained silent for the most part of the trip, opting to rest her helmeted head on her weapon and silently pray to Taz'goroth for his protection. However, when the ship began it's descent that's when her uneasiness subsided and the aderinaline began to pump into her veins. She stood to her feet, her back slightly stooped to allow her massive frame to stand in the cramped underbelly of the ship, and grasped a leather strap to anchor herself.

The dropship rocked slightly as it landed with a dull thud on the planet's surface. Viz tapped released her grip on the leather strap and wrapped the side of her helmet three times with her knuckles to clear her head before the ship's ramp dropped and the blast door opened. She lifted her weapon in a more readied position before turning to Theran and giving a nod of approval.

"
Shit is about to get real!"

The metallic cherry red and gold armor of Mandalorian Protector Aethon Kast glinted in the cool blue-white light of the transport as they hurdled through space towards their destination, some topic secret Sith Research and Development facility hidden away on some asteroid. Aethon had been briefed on the situation from High Command and it seemed that the station contained some key droid technology the Dominion wanted for the war. It must have been important enough that they sent three Fists, each packed with twenty-four Mandalorian commandos and even a Protector-Errant to assist them.

As the assault transports touched down, Aethon gripped his A140 and readied himself. Glancing to the massive Mandalorian as she shouted that it was about to get real, he smiled. "For the Dominion, vode!" He called out. As soon as the ramp dropped and the airlock opened he rushed outside onto the surface of the rocky planetoid. There were a few automated blaster turrets that appeared out of small durasteel emplacements, firing widely before Aethon and his fellow commandos fired back in short accurate bursts, destroying them handily. Ahead of them was a reinforced blast door which would lead them inside the facility.

"Let's go, vode," Aethon shouted to his companions as he ran up to the door. "The sooner we break in, the sooner we can bring fire to this facility!"

The familiar sounds of battle quickly rang on the surface of the moon. A few Imperial tricks had awaited the would-be invaders. Unfortunately for the Empire, automated turrets were not much of a match for trained commandos. Theran never liked being the first one on the ground. He would let others have that esteemed honor. He loved taking risks but he wasn’t that stupid. At least not always. He sauntered out of the transport as the turrets became heaping piles of scrap. Boy, that had been easy. There was a whole lot of confident chatter on the commlinks as the invaders formed up. He wouldn’t participate just yet. He had never met a Sith that didn’t need killing but they weren’t all panty snatching idiots. Theran eyed the reinforced blast door baring their way into the base. He smiled under his helmet. He knew just what to do with that.

“Back up, I’ll knock.” He let out a deep laugh. He pointed at a brother and sister carrying shoulder rocket launchers. He slung his rifle on his back. “Aye, let me borrow those.” He took one in each hand, put the launchers on his shoulders, eyeballed the door, smiled, and fired. The rockets soared through the air before slamming into the door. An awful groan accompanied the concussive blast. Theran handed the launchers back to his friends.

He regripped his rifle. He went to inspect his handiwork. A gaping hole greeted him in the doorway. Perfect. This time he didn’t mind being the first through. He was careful the entire time to stay alert for any Sith trickery. He stepped through the doorway and waited for his fellow commandos to join him. He wanted that Protector in here. That cherry red armor would draw fire away from his precious hide. @Apollyon @Kori Buor

As the ramps dropped the Mandalorians mobilized, opening fire on the exterior turrets and neutralizing them as threats. Vi hardly had time to allow her Repeater to spool up before it unleashed true hell onto anything of substance. Instead, the hulking two meter tall warrior simply moved with the warriors as they advanced, it wasn't until the Fett fired dual rockets launchers that Viz had her moment to shine.

As the designated "heavy" of her unit she was pushed upwards to help lead the charge. The Fett was among the first to enter through the breach but Viz was right behind him. Once the man had cleared her line of fire, Viz squeezed the trigger on her repeater. The whir of the weapon preparing to fire was heard for a brief moment before it began to send screaming death down the hallway.

About the same time Viz's weapon had begun to fire a group of scientists had been attempting to make it down the hall and towards the Imperial forces and relative safety, none made it. Repeater fire mowed them down as Viz mercilessly engaged the hostiles they had scurried towards in the midst of their panic. Outside of their slaughter the Imperial guards ducked behind cover in an attempt to avoid taking any unnecessary damage or casualties.

Viz grinned beneath her helmet at the sight of the carnage she unleashed upon enemy lines. She relished in the near tangible fear the guards of the Sith Empire displayed as they cowered behind whatever form of cover they could find. She fully intended to show no mercy to anything that wasn't Oath-kin in the facility, nothing that didn't bear the mark of Manda'lor would survive this attack. Not if she had a say or hand in it at least.

Viz's rain of hell-fire allowed for the Mandalorians as a force to begin to press inwards, down this hallway and towards the Imperials. It wouldn't be long before the guards of the complex were forced to either fall into a full retreat and risk being shot in the back or face the massacre to come. It didn't matter either way to Viz, she had come here to kill some scum and watch some fireworks, so far she had gotten one of the two accomplished

“My lord, the data transfer is still processing. We need more time!” a lowly scientist exclaimed to Sev, who was musing over real-time security footage of the situation at the main entrance to the facility.

He tapped into the long-range communications relay the base used to contact the rest of the Empire. Mandalorians were attacking the complex, and he needed to ensure that the Imperials could muster a counterattack.

“This is Inquisitor Sevarin Telluria hailing any imperial forces in the sector. We are under attack at Research Facility A-545 and are in dire need of reinforcements.”

CRRRK

A billow of black smoke and the sound of rending metal filled the interior of the complex as the rocket launchers made their mark, blasting a hole directly through the research facility’s main blast doors. Whether it be intentional or not, the main entrance was a death trap for whichever side brought the bigger guns. There were other entrances into the base that were better concealed and likely unknown to the invaders, but in classic Mandalorian fashion, they had decided to go for the main entrance with guns blazing and an obscene amount of firepower.

Sevarin Telluria was a young Sith Inquisitor- twenty four years old with an air of refinement and nobility thinly veiled over the fury most young Sith held. Black haired and crimson eyed with the build of a lithe but deadly Sith Assassin, Sev was garbed in his Nyssan Sith Assassin garb, his finely crafted and adorned lightsaber hanging at his left hip.

The young Sith had been sent here on suspicion of a possible Mandalorian sympathizer within the ranks of the scientists.

Crimson eyes glared in hate at the hulking figures amongst the smoke and ruin depicted in the live holo-recordings. They were here for the Droid data. But more than anything, he was angry at the Imperial forces’ utterly pathetic retreat against the Mandalorian onslaught. More Imperial soldiers were running away, getting shot in the back, or cowering behind cover than actually returning fire, and they were paying heavily for it strategically. The main entrance of the base had been designed in such a way that it would’ve made the perfect death trap for any invaders, had the Imperial forces decided to place a few heavy repeaters in the hallway behind some barricades. But complacency had taken hold of the facility, and they were ill equipped for such an attack.

The automated defense turrets had more spine than the lowly cowards here claiming to be soldiers of the Empire.

“Continue to transfer the data to those storage drives, and then purge them all. We don’t have time to evacuate the research data to a more secure location.” Sev said to the scientist manning the data console. The scientist nodded in compliance. If the Empire could not retain the data, then no one would have it. He wasn't sure what data they were here for specifically, but he'd make sure to wipe it all.

Sev looked at the live feed again, and solidified his resolve for what was to come.

He made his way out of the data room, weaving through several corridors, before he reached where the intruders had made their entrance. Just around the corner, the main entrance hallway laid beyond. By the time Sev had arrived, the bodies of fallen Imperial soldiers and scientists littered the hallway in droves. Sev glanced at his remaining forces. The majority of his surviving troops were still cowering behind cover, and the Mandalorians seemed to have impressively taken little to no casualties at first glance.

72 Mandalorian supercommandos, a protector and his protector-errants among them, with decades of combat experience….against a group of cowardly and inexperienced Imperial troops with a lone, young Sith Inquisitor to lead them? The situation still looked dire for the Imperials, but at least Sev had relayed the distress signal to the Imperial fleet. Someone was bound to show up and assist, eventually.

Sev ignited his lightsaber, making his way just beyond the hallway corner junction in a relatively swift movement. The iconic hiss of the blade coming to life heralded his arrival before the warriors of Mandalore.

He linked his communicator to the base’s loudspeaker system as he began to take a few steps forward. His voice reverberated louder against the din of what gunfire still filled the air.

“The data is already gone, Mandalorians. Your arrival is in vain.” Sev said, not an ounce of hesitation or cause for doubt in the inflection of his voice. It was a lie of course- meant to discourage them from pressing the offensive deeper into the base.

Sev entered a defensive stance, with the intent to dodge or deflect most of what the Mandalorians had in store for him.

OOC Note: Data purge in 3 post cycles in which everyone has gotten a chance to react. I think that's reasonable, but by all means if you think it should be adjusted, please let me know!

Hearing Theran telling him to back up, Aethon wasted no time clearing the blast radius of the rocket launchers. With the doors blown wide open the Mandalorians had easy access to facility now which meant they could gain access to the research labs which contained their objective, or at least that's what the Protector hoped. Together with his other six dozen Mandalorian commandos they spread out through the facility, gunning down lab techs, guards, and destroying security cameras, traps like Ray shield generators, and automated turrets.

Things looked like they were going smoothly until the distinctive snap his of a lightsaber echoed down the corridor, and suddenly the Sith walking into the corridor right into the line of fire from Viz's repeater, intending to strike a pose and give some typical arrogant Sith rant.

Using Viz's massive form as cover, Kast fired three rounds in rapid succession as soon as the Sith came into view. Starting by aiming at the Sith's knees and using the A140's recoil to send his second follow up shots into the man's torso and third into his head. Between the hail of fire that Viz was unleashing directly into the Sith, whatever Theran chose to do, and his own accurate shots, the Sith would be overwhelmed by the number of blaster bolts coming at him. "Who said we're here for the data? Maybe we just wanted to kill Sith! But, with that in mind, we'll be sure to capture every engineer and technician we see. I'm sure they'll spill what they know to save their skins."

Aethon glanced at Viz and nodded for her ti take the lead with her massive form and heavy repeater. Looking to the Fett, Kast spoke, "Go around the back side using the last junction we passed. See if you can flank the Sith or grab the Intel we came here for."

The sounds of death and destruction were music to Theran’s ears. Oh, how he loved his job. Life would be so much more boring if he had been born some pencil pusher, guarding a stapler, on a core world. No. This was better. Of course, some self-aggrandizing Sith had to go and ruin it. There was always a wet blanket trying to douse their fun. Theran was shocked to watch the man walk right into the heavy repeating blaster of Viz. Theran was damn close to Viz and Aethon. He was about two meters behind the pair. The trio was about 25 meters from the stupidly confident Sith.

He didn’t waste any time. As Aethon was firing from his A140, Theran quickly raised his wrist and fired off a rocket. He aimed the rocket to hit the floor two meter behind the Sith. This would give the rocket the effect of heading right towards the Sith, but in truth would not erupt until it impacted the floor behind him. It would look like the rocket was going to take the Sith in the chest, and a sidestep would avoid it. Theran quickly raised his A140 and fired two shots at the Sith’s center mass. The brave defender now had heavy repeating blaster shots, 5 A140 rounds, and rocket headed for him. One though crossed Theran’s mind. Good Luck.

At Aethon’s direction he nodded and back stepped. The junction was only two meters behind him. As soon as he was safely around the corner he activated his jetpack. Theran was zooming through the base, headed towards where their report indicated the intel would be held. Of course, he kept his senses alert for any unwanted interlopers. He would not be caught unaware. He was careful to slow down and look at each cross corridor. @Noctyr @Kori Buor @Apollyon

About 25 meters from her position, some dude with a red glowstick stepped into the corridor and tried to start talking. Apparently, her allies disagreed with this "talking it out" tactic and she was in agreement with them. The hulking frame of Viz adjusted her aim with her repeater to target the Sith and the corner he had just rounded and squeezed down on the trigger. A hail of blaster fire roared to life and screamed down towards the man, no boy, no idiot that had decided to step into her line of fire.

As she opened fire she continued to walk forward, a massive juggernaut of death standing in the gap between the enemy and her family. As she moved forward her allies opened fire on the man too, Kast firing upon the man with a three shot volley and the Fett sending a rocket barreling down the hallway towards the boy. Viz raised an eyebrow at the amount of overkill sent towards one person, she thought it was glorious. However, that was when a chime came in, a secured communications hail from the transports.

"
Go for Senra." She stated in reply to the hail.

"We are picking up an outbound signal from the base." A male voice replied. "Might be a distress call. orders?" He asked.

"
Yeah, bounce this communications line towards the nearest Dominion warship." Viz replied calmly as she continued her advance.

Viz waited a second for confirmation that the signal was being bounced back out towards the nearest Dominion vessel. Once she was green-lit to send her message she started her message.

"
Viz'Senra, requesting aid at my position." She started. "And bring bigger guns then whatever they might be haulin'!" She continued. "Kriff! I'm low cov-"" With that Viz cut her line.

In reality Viz didn't need the covering fire from anyone to reload, Kast had her back and the Fett was wrapping around on the poor bastard. Dropping the energy cell and reloading would take about a second and a half, no sweat. As she reloaded, she heard the screams of dying Imperials as her brothers and sisters pushed forward towards their objective. That data would be theirs or they'd die trying.

"Commander, we received a distress signal just now but it stopped after eight seconds." Corporal Cann informed Sey after a formal salute. Echo Company was doing mandatory training exercises to keep their operational status despite their primary function as surveillance agents on the Coruscant lower levels. Commander DeWitt and twenty-three of his subordinates were just gearing up for an urban combat training on an abandoned mining colony, yet the distress signal seemed odd to the experienced special operative. "From where?" Sey asked as he pocketed the three extra mags for his B0-0M pulse rifle and two SCKO-grenades in compartments on his Redoubt-series armor. The Communications Corporal checked his datapad, "A level five research facility not far from here."

Sey sighed, "Message Fleet Command," he unplugged his safety straps and rose from his seat in the shuttle to step into the hangar proper with the corporal, "Convey the distress signal to the admirality." Sey removed the helmet, showing the perspiration already present on his forehead, "Level Five research facilities do not mess up by sending such signals by accident," he paused as he motioned for the corporal to follow him to the intercom unit, "-that it only came through for eight seconds means the aggressors have powerful jammers and that rules out pirates and criminals." Reaching an intercom unit Commander DeWitt selected both Hangar and Bridge comms before turning to look at the corporal's datapad.

"Hangar, Bridge. This is Commander DeWitt of Echo Company. Mission designation changed. Training Squads Alpha, Bravo and Charlie to redirect towards distress signal. Bridge be informed, enemy ships could be in vicinity. Raise threat level Fiver-Delta, I repeat, raise threat level Fiver-Delta."

"Bridge Copy. Threat level raised to Fiver-Delta. Coordinates transferred to shuttle pilots and informing Central Fleet Command."

Sey ignored the Communications Corporal and jogged back towards his shuttle as he put his helmet back on. Aside from the rifle he had a SP-30 suppressed pistol strapped to his upper right leg and a Systech Aural Blaster on his upper left, both with only a single magazine.

Underway to the research facility the three shuttles would burn up their turbo and still Sey feared they'd be too late to prevent any theft of important research. Though that wasn't his primary concern. No, the intelligence officer in him was curious to know who found their facility and more importantly: How.

OOC: Will arrive on scene in the next round of posting.

The difference between life and death on the battlefield can be decided in a single moment, and Sev cursed himself for his naivety. He expected a mandalorian to duel him one on one, but was instead met with an overwhelming number of guns and subsequent weapon fire that he had no choice but to immediately react. Luckily the corner he had emerged from was only a sidestep away, and that repeater Viz was hauling around needed a second to spool up before it’d rain a hail of death upon his position.

As he made his sidestep back towards the relative safety of the corner, his blade flowed through the air with an uncanny precision and speed that could only be explained by one thing: The Force. Sev used his lightsaber to deflect the shots aimed at his knees, torso, and head by Kast and Fett as he made his sidestep as swiftly as possible. Sparks flew as a flurry of shots were deflected all over the place- he had little opportunity to make the deflections accurate, but he did he best to try and hit the mandalorians with their own blaster fire. One of the shots managed to graze his left bicep, causing Sev to grit his teeth in pain before a rocket exploded in the wall just behind him.

His ears ringing, and wincing from the light burns and shrapnel that hit his body, Sev hugged the wall for cover. He'd need to find backup, and fast. He then slunk away into the shadows, weaving his way back through the hallways towards the data room. Sev gave orders to the remaining troops via comlink.

“Set your thermal detonators to proximity detonation on non-Imperial targets, hide them as traps for the enemy, and then retreat to Level two.”

Level two was a portion of the base that held the weapons and hangar bays. Just beyond it, level three, were the labs, and then finally, level four, a cold storage facility where all the data was held. If there was a place to hold the line, level two was it.

“U-understood, inquisitor.” a hesitant guard replied over the net. This was a stalling measure more than anything. Level one was now littered with explosives.

He then winced in pain, realizing that one of the blaster bolts from Viz's repeater had grazed his left arm just as he had been knocked down by the explosion. The adrenaline had kept him from noticing earlier. The newfound pain only angered him further, as he clenched his fist in fury. Where was the might of the Imperial fleet? Were they just a bunch of cowards?

And with that, Sev made his way to the hangar bay, taking cover amongst some large durasteel kolto shipping containers (think of the size of IRL shipping containers). The situation was already dire, and this was going to be his way off this rock.

Theran was zipping through the hallways of the base. His jetpack ensuring he outpaced any Sith or troopers foolish enough to try and follow him. He was already a good distance from the junction when the injured Sith finally began giving orders and moving. Theran had been hurtling towards the data center as soon as he had fired the rocket. Thankfully, the few Sith forces remaining in the base were well distracted by the invading Mandalorians. The injured Sith had ordered them to stand tall and attack. Silly man. Theran had an untroubled route to just where he needed to go. He didn’t even need to come close to the deep encrypted data core. Oh no, the Mandalorians had done their due diligence before attacking.

They each came with a powerful slicing datapad. He just needed to reach the auxiliary security station on his current level and the datapad would take care of the rest. Of course, as Theran flew he was careful to pay attention for any sudden mishaps. He didn’t want some sneaky snake Sith causing him any trouble. This battle was essentially over and the Mandalorian’s had won. Theran skidded to a stop at the security station. Abandoned. Perfect. He blasted the door open and stepped into the room.

There were lights flashing everywhere and all kinds of tiny little screens. He pulled the datapad from his pocket and hooked it up to a port. In mere seconds, the base’s secure research data was downloading. Everyone with half a brain in the galaxy knew that all the systems were always connected, you just had to find the right port. Theran smirked to himself. He took up a defense position at the doorway. His rifle in his hand and his eyes scanning. Anyone who wanted to cause trouble would have to walk down a 20-meter hallway to reach him. Good luck with that. He quickly flicked on his secure com. "Download underway." He kept his eyes peeled. @Kori Buor @Noctyr @Ecclessey @Apollyon

OOC: Data download will finish next round.

With the stupid luck and magics that only a Force-wielding cheater could manage, the Sith seemed to have miraculously avoided getting his by the majority of the shots, though a blaster bolt might have grazed him and the rocket likely did some minor damage. Hard to tell from where he was standing, but at least the fool was out of the way. Firing another two shots at the wall near where he was hiding, Aethon wanted to make sure that they stayed hunkered down. He really hated the Sith, but hopefully they had scared this one enough that he wouldn't stick his head out again.

Glancing at Viz as she informed him that she had intercepted a transmission, he gave a thoughtful nod as he took cover again. "Make sure the Commandos secure our rear. The last thing we need is to get flanked by some Sith grunts who got the drop on us because we didn't think we could ever be shot in the back. If reinforcements arrive, I want to know about it immediately. Spool up the drives on our transports and make sure they're on standby to scramble. We also really don't need our ride out of here getting blown all to hell. Now..."

Aethon thought for a moment as a plan began to formulate in his mind. "I believe this facility has a hanger, perhaps we should try to make it there and prevent anyone from leaving... It'll give us a chance to capture a ship if we need one as well. If reinforcements are arriving we can use a captured ship to slip by them. At the very least we should push forward and clear this level so we can set the charges..."

Popping out from cover, Aethon dropped another guard. That's when he heard Theran's voice over the comm alerting them that the data transfer was underway. "Alright, let's try and leave a surprise for whoever gets here next. Viz, lead the sweep and set the charges up. If we have time let's try to get to that hanger and nab ourselves a ride." Making proper use of cover, Aethon would move forward using suppressing fire to push back the Sith while the Mandalorians advanced, each fire team of commandos leapfrogging forward and securing each junction and ensuring their rear was safe.

There wasn't much more Sev could do. The Mandalorians had the upper hand.

A voice came over his holonet communicator. It was the scientist charged with purging the data.

"My lord, we can't hol-"

His voice was cut off as the scientist was shot dead by a super commando. Sev wasn't sure where this occurred, but he surmised that the scientist must have left the safety of the lower levels, for some reason. In any case, with him dead, this place surely must've been lost.

Gritting his teeth, he reluctantly took one of the remaining Ziost Hunter starships out of the hangar bay, exiting the base and leaving the system for good.

(Topic Left due to IRL circumstances.)

The Sith disappeared around the corner as quickly as he had appeared, he was no longer any concern for Viz. Instead, she focused on her objective, the Fett had broken off to retrieve the data and the Protector assigned her to a jab, pave the way. Within her helmet Viz rolled her eyes, hadn't she been taking point up to this point?

"
Whateva you say boss man." She replied with a nod before turning to several Commandos. "You guys, lets go." She called out for five Commandos to follow her up.

The thermal detonators had been hastily set in the hall way, they were set out in the open and relatively easy to spot due the panicked retreat the Sith forces were undergoing. As such, the Commandos blasted them at a distance to avoid any casualties occurring. Aside from a few stray scientists, who were promptly shot on sight, Viz didn't see any hostiles. Viz and her fire team made their way down to the second level and into the base's main reactor room.

"
Aight boys, let's leave these Sith bastards a present." She stated with a slight grin beneath her helmet.

Instantly, the Mandalorians began to work setting up a makeshift, but potent bomb around the base's main reactor The bomb was set to remote detonation, the Protector would be given the red button to unwrap this gift. Once the bomb was set up Viz and her fire team would make their way back to rendezvous the rest of the Mandalorian forces. Viz was ready for anything but deep down she wanted to get back home and to blow this popsicle stand.

A lovely sounding chime rang in the little security room. The datapad had finished downloading all the juicy Imperial secrets locked in the base. Theran could only hope it had one piece of information he was deeply interested in. Who was sleeping with Emperor Malon? The galaxy just had to know. The head honchos on Mandalore could do whatever else they wanted with whatever remained. Theran grabbed the datapad and tucked it safely into a pouch on his belt. He patted his rifle. Time to put that baby to good use.

He quickly scanned the hallway, spotting a couple of troopers running the wrong way. He fired a couple well placed shots into the backs of the silly little fleeing troops. His coms were alive with the chatter of his brothers and sisters. They were headed for evacuation. Theran smiled. Bless those crazy idiots, they had secured Imperial shuttles in the hangar bay. A perfect escape for the perfect caper. Every time he tried to die it just did not go his way. Oh well. Theran flicked his jetpack back on and was zipping through the hallways again. His HUD constantly feeding him necessary information. As he zig zagged through the base he kept his eyes peeled for anyone trying to interrupt his heroic escape.

It would be terribly tragic if this daring do was ended by a blaster bolt in his fuel tanks. An explosive end. Theran quickly found the hangar bay and the squad of Mandalorians having secured the Imperial transports. He skidded to a stop in front of his suicidal friends. “I think I’ve had enough Imperial splendor for one day.” He flicked on his secured coms. “Data secured, evacuation underway.” He stepped into one of the six secured Imperial transports. In a few short moments, the bulk of the forces were headed off the planet disguised as fleeing Imperials. @Ecclessey @Kori Buor @Apollyon
