Hey, so I'm a nerd that plays tabletop rping games and I thought it'd be an interesting idea to play around with if I tried at the Star Wars: Saga Edition game. We'd pretty much need a DM and a decent group of people, the core book can be found here and my skype, for those who don't already have it would be KuroTheCanine.

I'd be looking to do the Clone Wars era for the game, or the 20 years after the battle of Endor, and i'd preferably want an experienced GM so we're not lost in the story.

I'd say D&D experience wouldn't really matter for players, hell i've only done it like 4 times so far. If anyone would be up for doing this just comment and we can get a skype group going and hopefully a GM to start building up a story.

All depends on the day and time we do it honestly.

Alright, would it be fine if we missed every once in a while? I'm going to be new to tabletop, I know it can be a commitment, just I'm pretty busy as well. :)

Yeah, I was thinking like every other weekend or something like that so it would have the chance to not conflict with RL stuff

Worse case scenario if we don't want to use Edge of the Empire, I did find this species compilation that could work and manipulate to fit the other game.

Also I have a teamspeak we could use instead of skype, no lag and we don't have to restructure calls if people need to leave.

Yeah I think not using edge of the empire would be best, since it's a completely different dice system. And the homebrew species seem pretty cool if there would be a way to adapt them for SWRPG. Also would you have a Discord? it's better than skype and it's pretty much at the level of Teamspeak.

Oh my goodness, yes. I loved this game, it was the first tabletop RPG I ever played. I'd be more than willing to GM, or if not, just play. Between this game, D&D, and Pathfinder, I've got just over two years of tabletop experience.

That sounds awesome, I need to redownload discord if that would be the method we end up using. If you could DM that'd be really cool.

What are the times for this game?
Since we have a Dm now and can start on story development we have the ball rolling. I'm thinking every other Saturday night starting at around maybe 6 PM Pacific time?

Hello, friendly neighborhood GM here. The general idea I've got at the moment is to set the campaign during the Clone Wars. I'd also prefer it if evil aligned characters were avoided, but something can be worked out if it's an absolute must. More details coming soon.

This is certainly something I would be up for. I have DM experience if need be or I can just be a player, does not really matter. I also have some campaign ideas if you need them.

Note: in high-school so a weekend would be best, but I am not available this weekend but after that I am open (I think)

SW: SAGA EDITION RP
The Governor's Gambit

The Clone Wars have spread across the galaxy. Battles are being fought from the Core to the Outer Rim, yet the Republic stronghold of Eriadu remains secure and untouched. In light of this, Governor Wilhuff Tarkin has invited several prominent
Republic officials and members of high society to his estate for a formal party. In addition to showing off his holdings on the planet, Tarkin hopes the party will provide an opportunity to garner additional support for the Repulic's war effort. However, not all the guests are who they seem, and only time will tell if the party goes to plan. As a precaution, Tarkin has requested a platoon of Clone troopers and any Jedi who are willing to be present.

It is up to you to ensure that the Governor's party doesn't go up in smoke.

OOC: So, as the above says, the campaign will be focused around the Tarkin estate and the party therein. As such, the focus won't be on combat so much as it will be on character interaction and non-combat skills. I propose that we either have the players fill out character sheets (found here) and play the actual game on Skype/Discord/etc. Or, we can play on a site known as Roll20, which not only has built-in chat, dice rolling, character sheets, and notepads, but has a customizable map as well. I leave it to you guys to decide.
