This actually concerns me. The vast majority of alien species are perfectly acceptable. I would hate to see a few bad exceptions be the reason for any changes to the eligibility of perfectly balanced species. Anyways, I only have 2 characters planned at the moment - one was Hapan, the other Human. I am considering using one of 5 races, 4 of which are established in canon (Chiss, Neimoidian, Twi'lek, Rodian) or a Rishii, for a 3rd character, but I'm trying to develop a plotline for such a character before I just up and make it on a whim.

None of these species have anything extraordinary that should disqualify them. Only the Rishii might be potentially disqualified because it can fly, but really that'd probably kill it more often than not in PVP. Nor should a species' lack of representation disqualify them. There are certainly species that warrant being removed, but largely I feel most people should be rewarded for using aliens.
