    Dreamwalking

Known applications · Limitations and drawbacks · Learning · Intent

Dreamwalking was a Force power wielded by the Jedi of old. The technique has been long forgotten, burried by the old Jedi Order. Dreamwalking was an ability that allowed Force-users to infiltrate the dreams of others through a deep and dangerous trance. Practice of this technique was abolished thousands of years ago, because the strain of this technique often left it's practicioners mentally scarred.

    _

    Known applications

With the technique abolished thousands of years ago, there are only very few individuals who know of it's existence. The original application of this technique was to heal the minds of those who experienced great traumas. But soon after it's creation, more nefarious applications of the technique were discovered. The Dark-side allowed dreamwalkers to trap others in nightmares and cause their victims to go insane. This lead to the eventual abolishment of the technique.

Dreamwalking was no technique accesible to just any Force user. Untrained Force users who attempted to wield this technique often found themselves trapped in layers of dreams, eventually dying from either the strain of the technique, or the starvation of their physical bodies. More experienced Force users were able to infiltrate dreams or ward others against invasions, if they were near a Force Nexus or guided by a master of the technique. What made this technique so dangerous for those who weren't proficient in the technique, was that they were at the mercy of the hosts subconscious mind. While they could interact with the host, altering a dream that was not their own seemed an impossible task for even experienced Force-users.

Masters of the Force who were proficient in this technique were at their most potent. They could guide less experienced practicioners of the technique and keep them safe, which was the reason why learning this technique without a teacher was near-impossible. Being proficient also meant that they grew more resistant to the side effects of dream walking, such as the major headache which often followed after succesfully performing the technique. Practicioners of this level could also alter dreams even if they weren't the host, provided that the true host didn't know he or she was dreaming. Dark-side users of this technique could trap hosts in their dreams and transform said dreams into horrible nightmares.

The most exceptional and strongest users of the Force were nearly invulnerable in dream invasions, able to execute the technique in remarkable speed. They could link the minds of multiple people, trapping entire groups in one dream. These Force-users were only limited by their own imagination in this dream world.

    Limitations and drawbacks

Despite the obvious power this ability has to offer, the drawbacks are less appealing. Even if someone executing the technique was hard to bring down in a dream, their physical bodies were extremely vulnerable. Another problem was, that those who invaded the dreams of others had a chance of dying in the process. Because they shifted their consciousness to the dreams of others, death in those dreams meant the death of their consciousness. It forced novice users of the technique to be very careful, as death could be around every corner. However, a master of this technique with the ability to alter the dreams, could not instantly kill another invader. Their consciousness warded them against direct creations involving their spiritual bodies. Altering the dream to instantly impale another invader with spikes or surround them by magma for example, was therefore not possible.

Moreover, their powers were often wavering once the host found out that their dream was being invaded. Altering dreams became a lot harder and even leaving could sometimes form an issue. If the host woke up however, the invaders would be thrown out of their trance, with a severe nausea and headache.

    Learning

Learning requires intense training and guidance of a master to both enter, survive and leave dreams. A Force-user wishing to learn this power must be proficient with telepathy and psychokinesis first, as both abilities form the base of this technique.

    Intent

The purpose of this ability is to add a more advanced out of combat application of telepathy to the mix, creating more diversity in the use of Force powers and it's wielders.

    Niman: Fire Surge

Known applications · Limitations and drawbacks · Learning · Intent

Niman Technique V, Fire Surge, was a technique developed by masters of the Niman Form. It involved the application of Force Fire to one's blade, in order to launch a devastating slashing attack at one's opponent.

    _

    Known applications

Niman Technique V: Fire Surge, was a technique developed for offensive purposes, when one needed to overpower his opponent. While the core values of Niman rested on having it's practicioner survive, this particular technique would allow a master of the Form to take control of the fight, either to create a much needed getaway option, or when the practicioner truly had to defeat his opponent.

The Fire Surge technique is based on the combination between two techniques; The Falling Leaf technique of Form V, and the Force ability to generate heat; Force Fire. By focusing the Force Fire ability on the practicioners own Kyber Crystal, a momentary eruption of fire, often the color of one's own blade, could be generated. This, combined by the movement of the Falling Leaf, resulted in a deadly combination of the Force and physical strength.

More powerful Force users who master this ability can create larger eruptions of flame, which can keep burning for longer amounts of time. The rare individuals who had absolute mastery over the Force, could utilize this technique to keep their weapon aflame for days, perhaps even months. While this also meant that a certain level of caution was necessary, it could easily turn the tides of battle.

    Limitations and drawbacks

The potency of the technique does not make it invincible. A practicioner of the technique must be skilled enough in both the Form V disciplines as taught via Niman or Djem So, and the Force Fire ability. If the technique is not properly executed, self-flagellation is unavoidable. This often results in severe third-degree burns and if control is lost halfway through the technique, burning one's face is possible.

Because the practicioner channels the Force in harmony with their strike, a high-level of concentration is necessary. Therefore, the recovery time one needs after executing this technique makes them extremely vulnerable. That's why the Fire Surge technique is considered an all or nothing attack. It either succeeds, or spells certain loss for the practicioner.

    Learning

Because learning this technique requires mastery of both Djem So principles and the Force Fire technique, only truly proficient Force-users can learn this technique. (It requires atleast a level 2 character, as learning Force Fire requires a level 2 character.)

    Intent

To flesh out Form VI, Niman a bit more and to create a new, useable technique for combat scenarios.

    _

    Biography

Sihn was born as the illegitimate son of a simple metal worker on Coruscant. His biological mother died at his birth, which forced his father to take him in. Sihn grew up in a family of six; his father and his wife, plus their three children, all of which were older than him. His stepmother hated him from the start; he was the evidence of his father cheating on her. She tried to make his life as hard as possible, tormenting him every day when his father wasn't home.

Naturally, Sihn wanted to move out as soon as possible. His chance came in the form of the Imperial Academy. While most of the Academy was focused on the military, there were special branches for both science and archeology. Sihn joined the latter, The Imperial Institute of Archeology and History, to be specific. The Imperial Academy demanded that all their students had to live on campus, which was a perfect opportunity for him to move out.

Sihn proved to be a very capable student, highly knowledgeable on the subjects of ancient cultures and art. He was forthright, reclusive and a great thinker. The downside of choosing to study at the Imperial Academy, was the three-year conscription all students had to go through. Even Sihn could not escape this fate. What was worse, because he followed a non-military study, the only option he had was the infantry.

His three-year conscription was pure hell. Sihn's unit had a strong anti-alien sentiment. With him being the only non-human in their unit, Sihn became their personal scapegoat. The conscription tarnished the reputation he had built, no longer was he the well-disciplined student. He became a reclusive and largely hated soldier, blamed for things he didn't do. But Sihn endured. Three harsh years passed, before he was finally allowed to graduate from the Imperial Academy.

Finally freed from his tormentors, Sihn became a well-respected archeologist, working to uncover relics of Force-sensitive sects for the Imperial Republica. His job forced him to do research near the warzones, which he eventually got caught up in. The old Sith Empire had raided their camp, killing everyone in their path. All except him. The soldiers brought him to Korriban, presenting him before the Sith overseers. They deemed him worthy to be trained in the ways of the Force.

Decades passed, during which much happened. But none of it mattered to Sihn. He had gained an interest in Sith Philosophy and the Dark Side and as long as he was an acolyte on Korriban, no one could stop him. That was, until the mindbreakers came. Korriban fell, forcing the Feeorin out of his isolation. Now, seeking revenge, Sihn joins the war effort.

    Personality and traits

Sihn is reclusive, forthright, cold and calculating. Having been tormented for most of his life, Sihn naturally distrusts others, which has been amplified by his Sith Philosophy.

Sihn is a devout follower of the Rule of the Strong, but has no qualms against using the rule to his advantage. He has purposely kept his role in Sith affairs as small as possible, going virtually unnoticed. It allowed him to fully submerge in the history, culture and philosophy of the Sith. And the Dark Side, of course.

While many Sith dismiss the weak, Sihn believes that, through weakness, greater strength can be achieved. It is the reason why he rarely lashes out or threatens non-Force sensitives, or lower servants of the Sith. In fact, Sihn rarely lashes out at all. His raging turmoil of emotions usually lies hidden under a layer of calmth and patience, which perhaps makes him an even more daunting appearance.

Having served in the Republica's military, Sihn has experienced great anti-alien sentiment. Thanks to this, Sihn has come to hate humans with a passion. It's one of the reasons why he generally prefers to stay out of military matters, since higher ranking officers are often human.

    Powers and abilities

Sihn is a very knowledgeable person,

Sihn relies on strength, efficiency and minimalistic bladework when it comes to utilizing his lightsaber. He is patient and deceptively fast, but it is not his skill with the lightsaber that makes him dangerous. It is his unhealthy obsession with the Dark side of the Force.

    Velka Grimlaug

Excerpt · Biography · Personality and traits · Powers and abilities · Equipment · Roleplays · Relationships

Velka Grimlaug was once a simple woman living in Alderaan's mountain ranges. That changed however, when her grandchild, a Sith acolyte, tried to massacre the entire family. Disappointed in his weakness, she decided to take his place herself, ready to submerge deep in the Dark Side and return the Empire to, what she considers to be, it's former glory.

    _

    Biography

Velka Grimlaug, born on Alderaan, believes in one golden rule; If you want something done right, do it yourself. She lives and breathes this rule, from her childhood until this very day. Living in the mountains meant that Velka and her family lived reclusive lives. During her childhood, Velka learned how to take care of their animals, harvest their crops and fix their house. Rarely did she descend from the mountains, only ever doing so if her father had cattle to buy or sell.

Velka married a cattle farmer, like her mother did, at the age of eighteen, starting a family of her own not long after. She had three children, two boys and a girl. She lived an average life, being the reclusive wife of a cattle farmer.

Something that was quite rare, as most other inhabitants of the mountain ranges moved to the nearest city, Aldera. Therefore, it became a difficult task to find suitable wives and a husband for her children. What was worse, was that they needed homes of themselves. And despite the fact that she loved her children, she knew they were not competent enough to build houses of their own. Thus, when her three children came of age, the now 36 year-old Velka retired.

Some say that with age comes wisdom. In Velka's case, brutality and a lack of care. She was respected among those who lived in the mountains though, as many came to her for both advise and age. After four years of guiding the remaining mountain people, Velka grew tired of their questions. She started dismissing them, only helping the few she considered polite enough, or those who were truly lost.

As devout followers of the Empire, Velka proposed that her grandchildren should attend the Imperial Academy. Since her husband had died an untimely death, her word was law. With her opinion stated, Velka's grandchildren attended the Imperial Academy. The eldest of her grandchildren joined the Imperial Intelligence, another joined the infantry and one was even found to be a Force-sensitive, sent to Korriban to become one of the famed Sith. Naturally, he became the pride of the family.

One after another did her grandchildren return. Atleast, their corpses did. Shot, hit by a thermal detonator, slashed across the chest with a lightsaber, all except one returned to her. The pride of the family, her youngest grandchild tasked with becoming a Sith, was still living and breathing.

On a fateful evening however, he returned. The acolyte was tasked with killing his own family, to sever his ties to the past and fully submerge in the Dark side of the Force. He killed all of them, except one. His old grandmother was the last one had to slay. That proved to be his undoing, as Velka managed to disarm him with her words. All the child ever wanted was attention and love, which Velka took advantage of. As she hugged her last living family member, she stabbed him in the back with her skinning knife.

For the first time in ages did she descend from the mountains, dragging the corpse of the acolyte behind her. Sith representatives eventually apprehended her, an encounter during which she proclaimed that, if the Sith were so poorly trained that even an old woman could take one down, it wouldn't be long before the Alliance took over. She would have been killed right there and then, had it not been for the swirling mass of Dark side energy around her. Instead of killing her, the Sith invited her to join their ranks herself.

Now a Sith Acolyte, Velka Grimlaug seeks to rise in the Empire's ranks, to bolster the Empire she so admired under Darth Vrael's rule.

    Personality and traits

Velka's most prominent traits are her sharp wit, high cunning and intelligence. At first glance however, all that she seems to be is bad-tempered and reluctant to help others. Velka is outspoken, with little patience for inconvenience. She never shies from stating her opinion, unless it's more advantageous to mask said opinion.

While many question her loyalty to the order of the Sith, none can question her loyalty to the Empire. Since her birth has she been a devout supporter of Imperial rule, admiring Emperor Vrael most of all. However, she hates what the Empire became after her death; with shows such as The Emperor in Paradise emerging during the rule of his succesor. Velka will do anything to restore the Empire to, what she considers, it's former glory.

Aware of the Dark Side it's corrupting influence, Velka fears that submerging in the art will lead to an untimely death. She envies the young and detests them for what she considers to be reckless and rash behaviour. What Velka also can't stand, is when others ask her questions. Rarely does she answer without sarcasm or mocking the one who asked her questions.

Despite being part of the Sith, Velka doesn't value the Rule of the Strong like most other Sith do. In fact, Velka is known to, on occasion, offer guidance to the lost and the weak, provided that they are polite enough. She believes that weakness in it's very essence is the pathway to strength, as the weak have so much room to grow.

The loss of her own children is largely responsible for her darker side. She is ruthless and has no problem inflicting pain upon others. Her deep immersion in the Dark Side is backed by a cold, merciless and very objective attitude. She holds grudges for long amounts of time and is willing to work with her enemies to achieve a common goal. Seeking her aid however, is a dangerous act, for she is by no means an easygoing person. That, and her dark sense of humor is not always appreciated.

    Powers and abilities

Because of her age, it is only natural to assume that Velka prefers scheming over direct conflict. While she attempts to stay on the sideline as much as possible, when it does come to combat, Velka is by no means a pushover. She is not one to practice acrobatics, instead finding solace in the subtleties of Niman.

Because she lived as independently for most of her life, Velka is still surprisingly fit and nimble. Always having taken care of herself, Velka has a great constitution, despite her age. This is mostly hidden however, as her grandson's failed assassination attempt on her life made her cautious, preferring to deceive others by using a cane, while she doesn't need it at all.

Another advantage given by her family it's solitary life, is her knowledge of a great many things. She knows how to survival in the wild, has knowledge of various crafts such as weaving, hunting and building. Also, she has great knowledge of people, because many came to her for guidance. She frequently sees straight to lies and can quickly decipher what one's true intentions are.

While her technique with the lightsaber does not stretch far beyond the primary goal, survival, her knowledge of the Force is on a different level. She knows and has experience with many techniques, especially those of mental manipulation and energy manipulation. Searching for ways to sustain her body and extend her life, she knows she has to delve deeper into the dark side. It is why she prefers wielding the power of the Force over her lightsaber.

Her lack of care has made her a rather calm presence in most cases. Because of this, she is highly capable of performing under pressure, even in life-threatening situations. What may also surprise others, is her astounding speed, especially when it's enhanced by the Force. To keep both allies and enemies in the dark however, she frequently acts like her age has worn her down much more than it actually has, by using her cane, for example.

    Equipment

As far as weapons go, Velka is in possession of a scarlet red lightsaber and a simple dagger, knowing that a lightsaber will not always do the job. Most of her equipment is hidden under her black cowled robe. It mirrors the equipment of the Jedi, consisting out of a utility belt with energy and food capsules, electrobinoculars, a comlink and a holocomm. She is also in possession of a simple cane, which she uses to deceive those around her.

    • 1x variable-pitch Vocabulator

    DESCRIPTION
Murmur has been designed and put together by Sakadi Marathi Sinvala and Funani Avanti. Murmur is a simple protocol droid, translating Sakadi's sign language to spoken Galactic Basic. Therefore, with a slight delay, Sakadi has a voice available as long as Murmur is present.

Murmur has a great grip with it's eight legs, but can also wrap around someone's arm to act as a bracelet, in case things are about to get rough. The brain of this little protocol droid is located right underneath the vocabulator, together forming the 'abdomen' of it's spider-like design. The motion sensors and photoreceptors form the head, with the motion sensors extending forward as 'fangs'.

Murmur has no voice of it's own, nor audio sensors. Therefore, it's very hard to try and communicate with the droid, unless one knows sign language.

    LEGALITY
Perfectly legal, unless droids are not allowed.

    INTENT
Murmur is made to give my mute character Sakadi some sort of voice to communicate with.
    ADVANCED TECH
Despite being built from scratch and being an original model, Murmur is by no means advanced tech.

What is going to happen in your plot?
Jedi Knight Kraud and his Padawan, Astra Calloway, will attempt to rescue and protect a group of refugees on Onderon.

What other writers (and their characters) will be a part of this?
Sunfrog, writing as Astra Calloway

Where are all the locations in which your plot will take place?
The plot will take place on Onderon itself, both on the ground and in the sky.

Please provide a basic in-character timeline of what you expect to happen. Include opposition type for each thread:

[1] [Self-DM, Ask] Divine Intervention.
A civil war on the planet Onderon took a turn for the worst, as one of the more important towns has been caught in the middle of the two warmongering parties. With a battle about to ensue that'll devastate the town, the townsfolk ran from their homes. Wanting to aid the refugees, the surrounding settlements sent a group of transport ships to get their former neighbors out of the war torn territory. Lacking the military strength to completely protect the transport ships, however, the nearby settlements place their faith in the two Jedi, Kraud and Astra Calloway, supplying them with two RZ-2 A-wing interceptors, accompanied by a small security force to get the remaining refugees out of there.

[2] [Dice, Ask] Burning Skies.
On their way back to the drop off point, the transport ships containing the refugees get chased down by a squadron of enemy starfighters. It is up to Kraud, Astra and the small security force to defend the transports, until their destination is reached.

What do you or your character hope to achieve with this plot? What is the "end-game?” Link any items you’re seeking if applicable.
A pair of RZ-2 A-wing interceptors for Kraud and Astra.

Do you need any involvement of canon NPCs or faction leaders to be DMed by a staff member? If so, please detail who/what and for what purpose.
No.

Sakadi was once a famous child opera singer. A true prodigy, until a heist gone wrong robbed her of her voice. Having lost the one quality which made her special, Sakadi ran away from home. She was eventually found by the Jedi Order, who taught her the ways of the Force until her self-imposed exile.

    _

    Biography

Sakadi Marathi Sinvala was used to having a bright future ahead of her. She used to be a famous opera singer, a true child prodigy. Her entire childhood had revolved around singing for large audiences, which kept increasing in size. If she wasn't performing, her parents made sure that she spent her time practicing. Sakadi simply went along with it, as she knew that it made her parents happy. And as long as her parents were happy, they gave her the attention she longed for.
The wealth obtained by her family through her talents had not gone unnoticed to the young girl. It became especially apparent to her when her parents could afford to buy a small villa on Serenno. With it came a certain stature and a new set of etiquette and rules to learn for Sakadi. While it wasn't hard to adapt for her, another part of her freedom had been taken away from her. Her fame made sure that she couldn't leave the house and her parents made sure that she barely had time left for herself. As she grew up, she started to feel imprisoned by her own talents. Her talents had created this 'perfect' prison, one she could never hope to escape from.

But through a cruel twist of fate, she escaped from her prison. One day, just after she finished her performance, Sakadi walked straight into a rather violent heist. The 20-year old woman got caught in the crossfire between her bodyguards and the criminals. She got hit in her neck, a shot that should have almost certainly been fatal. Her parents, who used her as their main source of income, could not let her die. They spent nearly their entire fortune on surgeries, kolto and rehabilitation for Sakadi. The doctors managed to save her, but her vocal cords were permanently damaged. Sakadi could no longer talk let alone sing. This meant that, in the eyes of her parents, she had lost her worth.

The cost of her miraculous survival had put her and her family back at square one. Except that she was useless now, as her entire life had revolved around the one thing she no longer could perform. Having lost the love of her parents, Sakadi felt that it was best for her to leave. Her parents didn't try to stop her, as the being they perceived as their daughter had died a year ago, together with their fortune.

Thus began the journey of the mute, almost aristocratic young woman. She traveled from planet to planet, for almost two years long, looking for a place to call home. She learned many new skills and proved to be a quick learner. But after two years, Sakadi had no credits left to spend. A month passed, one of extreme hardship. Eventually, a stranger found the emaciated young woman. The stranger claimed that she had abilities beyond those of normal men. She had an affinity for something he called 'the Force'. The stranger invited her to join an organization and learn to wield said power. Viewing it as her only chance for survival, Sakadi accepted the stranger's invitation.

Twelve years of training passed. Sakadi, who was used to harsh and long days of practice, quickly excelled in her training. After two years, Sakadi reached the rank of padawan, focusing on deepening her connection to the force over her lightsaber techniques. After two years of basic training, Sakadi finally got a bit more involved with the Galactic Alliance. She went on various missions, eventually obtaining the rank of Jedi Knight.

    Personality and traits
Because most of Sakadi's early life was focused on her talent as a singer, she barely had a childhood. This is reflected in her personality, as she still has some childish traits. This is largely kept in check by the etiquette she had to learn, formalities she still tries to uphold to this very day.

It's these exact principles she learned during her youth, that makes her unapproachable at first glance. Being a mute doesn't help either. The loss of her voice bothers her less than might be expected of her, as she had almost nobody to talk to during her isolated youth. The loss of her voice however, makes it very hard for her to communicate with others. Therefore she is, in a sense, still isolated from society.

One of the many ways she uses to overcome her lack of a voice, is telepathy, a force technique she excels at, even as a padawan. However, Sakadi finds it quite rude to invade another person's mind and will only do so when she has the permission of the person she tries to communicate with.

Contrary to popular belief, Sakadi is far from dumb or stupid. She is more than just a pretty face with manners. Sakadi is quite intelligent. She's a quick thinker, often with an iron will and a willingness to learn new things. She is steadfast in her opinions, which rarely go without substantiation. It's just that her social akwardness and lack of speech form a hard obstacle for her to overcome.

Her quick wit, creativity and intelligence are most apparent in combat. She is a true tactician though and through, as she's able to adapt to her opponent's plans in the middle of combat. Sakadi goes by the belief that when a Jedi has to draw his lightsaber he has already lost. Therefore, Sakadi may be seen throwing the Jedi principles out of the window during combat, falling back on a far more cold, reckless and ruthless approach. There is however, one thing she will never do. She will never kill a sentient living being.

Sakadi joined the Jedi Order because, at the time, she had no where else to go. Despite being part of the order, Sakadi does not affiliate herself with the Galactic Alliance. She still sees the Galactic Alliance as "a bunch of terrorists", but her own beliefs don't align with the beliefs of the empire or the mandolorians either. She is content with training to become a Jedi knight, and help the lost souls in the galaxy back to the light. She believes that, with the second chance at life she has been given, she should try to do as much good as possible for the galaxy.

But these ideals have brought her in more conflict than she would've liked. Sakadi quickly learned that if she chose to fight, if she chose to ignite her lightsaber, people could die. This made her very hesistant to enter combat at first, fearing the possibility that through her choices, lives could be taken. It forced her to walk the path of the pacifist, something she discovered to be harder than she initially thought.

    Powers and abilities

In order to overcome her lack of speech, Sakadi has focused mainly focused her training until now on telepathy and more subtle uses of the Force. This quickly became her forte, as she focused her training on the powers of the mind and the healing properties of the force. Her understanding of the telepathic force abilities is high enough to keep up a conversation mid-battle. She has also shown on multiple occasions to have some mastery of psychometry and force enhancement. While it may not be her primary focus, Sakadi is no pushover with energy manipulation either, as she was able to utilize telekinesis to great effect.

Sakadi has, since her youth, always practiced singing, which has made her masterful in quickly learning proper techniques. The speed at which she is able to learn and understand new things is almost scary. Once something new is presented to her, she can quickly become proficient with it. Despite having this trait, she rarely puts it to use, as there is no longer anyone forcing her to focus her complete attention on acquiring said technique or skill.

Having been forced to perform for large audiences made Sakadi very capable at acting under pressure, with social interaction being the exception. She used to be quite capable of speaking before large crowds, but that was before she became mute.

Sakadi has grown much as a warrior since her promotion to Knight. Not only has she gained more experience, but her muscle memory and mastery of different techniques make her difficult to deal with, both in armed and unarmed combat. While both her stamina and strength have increased, she still prefers to rely on being faster and more agile than her opponents. Despite her combat prowess however, Sakadi still prefers to stay out of war or combat scenarios as much as possible.

    Equipment
    e4238439c169e368ce5941335d046de1.png
Sakadi's equipment usually consists out of her lightsaber, a holoprojector, a comlink, small binoculars and a small med pack. Sakadi is also in possession of rebreathing apparatus, and a small blaster pistol, which she stole aboard a passenger ship above Aldera. Less notable but still present, are the food and energy capsules she often keeps fastened to her belt. When she knows a mission will involve combat, she typically dons her Jedi Armor.

Sakadi's lightsaber has a very basic and smooth design, with the only notable detail being the powercell attached to the hilt. She is attached to the rather minimalistic design, and is proud to have found the kyber crystal necessary to power her blade. The crystal has a deep blue color, reflecting her wish to use her second chance on life to protect the galaxy. That is, on a galaxy-wide scale. Sakadi loves the civilized world, but when it comes to individual people, she often finds herself repelled. This is reflected in her kyber crystal, as it's energy feels cold to those who can sense it.

Before he broke down, Krakus was an average labor droid. That changed however, when rebels part of the Galactic Alliance patched him up, hoping to repurpose him as a combat droid.

_

Biography

K7A-KU5, "Krakus", was once a simple Binary Auto-Servitor, programmed to work in one of Correlia's many hangars. For years did the droid fulfill his task, until he was deemed too old, got slow and started to falter. Krakus was shut down and brought to a scrapyard.

Because nobody liked wasting credits, his telescoping legs were salvaged before he was supposed to meet his end. Now shut down and without legs, the labor droid awaited his fate. But that was not what the galaxy had in mind for him.

Krakus was an extremely durable droid, which meant that even after all these years, what was left of him was still in good shape. Perhaps that was why he stood out to a small party of rebels, who had come to the scrapyard looking for valuable assets for the Galactic Alliance. They stumbled upon the remains of Krakus, which they deemed useful enough to take with them.

The rebel cell had it's technician patch the droid back up; giving him a paint job and replacing his legs, among other things.

Because the rebels had no use for a labor droid, they decided to repurpose Krakus, giving him the role of a combat droid. However, as the rebels tried to install a combat bypass circuit on the labor droid, they accidentily damaged his programming. While installing the combat bypass circuit failed, the result of the damage inflicted had a pretty similar effect, as it had made Krakus able to think outside of his labor droid programming. Although it didn't make him more violent, it certainly made him able to utilize it.

Personality and traits
As an Binary Auto-Servitor, thinking isn't Krakus his strongest suit. Therefore, many consider him to be dumb, and may often be surprised by his 'thinking out of the box'.

Meant to be repurposed as a combat droid by the rebel crew has made Krakus obsessed with obtaining glory in combat. The people who saved him wanted him to fight for their cause, so that is what the trustworthy droid would do. Krakus is honorable and friendly, although it takes a trained eye to notice that he has no evil intentions, as he lacks a vocabulator to straight up tell them.

Like most other Binary Auto-servitors, Krakus speaks in a language derived from binary. Therefore, he prefers to hang around other Auto-servitors, preferring their company over that of many other droids or organisms. Despite preferring the company of other servitors, Krakus is exteremely hospitable.

Another trait he obtained thanks to his damaged programming, is his love for heavy physical labor, or working in general. He has a true worker's mentality, taking any chance he can get to do what he is good at; heavy lifting.

Powers and abilities

While the rebel crew may have failed to repurpose Krakus into a fully fledged combat droid, they succeeded in bypassing his completely passive programming. While he is by no means an experienced warrior, Krakus will not sit around and wait for a true combat droid to show up once a fight starts.

His lack of actual combat experience is made up for by his overwhelming strength and his high durability. He is the essence of a reliable and strong droid, even with his broken programming.

Thanks to his age and the very few memory wipes he experienced, Krakus became rather handy with small objects, having learned to make use of his large claws to perform more advanced tasks without too much hardship.

Equipment

Krakus possesses the standard equipment of a Binary Auto-Servitor droid. This equipment consists out of a retractable computer interface probe which extends on a 3 meter long cable, a reader socket for datacards, magnetic grippers in his tracks for operating in zero G, and a pair of power sockets for powering and/or recharging external equipment.

Unlike most other Auto-Servitors, Krakus' replaced legs have knee joints, instead of it's usual telescoping function.

Having inherited the natural Hapan beauty, Nakira is a true eye-catcher. She often wears her silky black hair in a messy bun, but it's mostly her warm, hazel colored eyes that attract the attention of those around her.

Nakira stands out among her fellow Jedi, due to her preference for shades of red, a color not commonly worn by Jedi.

Biography

Neriya Dahle, commonly known as Neri, spent the entire of her early life in Cloud City. While she wasn't unhappy, the girl dreamed of leaving Bespin behind, dreamed of setting foot on the surface of a planet and most importantly of all,she dreamed of freedom. Her father, a commanding officer in Bespin's security force, wasn't too pleased with his daughter's free spirit. It strained the relationship between her and her parents, as they took every opportunity they got to restrict the girl's freedom. Not because they didn't care about her, but simply because they wanted to keep her safe.

0e4b90bf5e2d7dab44f814ecba55befb.jpg
When Neri was old enough, she enrolled into Bespin's most prestigious flight academy. During the years she studied at the academy, Neri took the time to broaden her knowledge on various subjects, learning languages and focusing a part of her study on engineering. But that wasn't all; Neri lived a wild life at the Academy, as she enjoyed the freedom that came accompanied with this new chapter in her life. At the age of 21, she graduated from the Flight Academy.

In the years that followed, Neri joined Bespin's security force, persuaded by her father. During her time with the Security Force, however, Neri found herself having to arrest many of the people she used to hang out with. They were her friends, and she couldn't possibly betray them. It resulted in her covering up many of the tracks made by her former friends. Eventually, her father and the Security Force found out. Neri was kicked out of the organization and almost arrested, but she barely managed to get away in a stolen spacecraft. She has been on the run ever since, taking jobs as smuggler, mercenary and pilot whenever available.

Personality

Neri prides herself on being an opportunist. She takes on jobs as a smuggler, mercenary and occasionally a bounty or two, when possible. She is quick on the uptake and is able to swiftly formulate plans, which has saved her multiple times already.

e30070d6b4082ee820b598a470c3d2a3.jpg
Her time in Bespin's Security Force and being branded a traitor by them, has left Neri with a general dislike of rules and authorities. She is extremely loyal to those she considers her friends and she doesn't regret having chosen to save them. She is often less loyal to her contractors however, frequently following the path that brings her to the highest profit. She has no issue double-crossing or betraying her contractors, if she deems it to be the most beneficial outcome.

While she frequently introduces herself as a capable pilot and smuggler, Neri is not in possession of a ship. She is quickly offended when people point this out, and it has caused her to have a sassy attitude to most strangers. Despite her remarks and sassy comments, however, Neri is quite level headed, sharp and focused. She is quite a capable liar and able to act under pressure, although surprising developments still do get the better of her.

Abilities & Equipment

will-kosman-rogue-wip.jpg
Neri has acquired a variety of skills in her life so far. Having studied at the Flight Academy, she is an above average pilot, able to pilot starfighters and freighters with great skill. Furthermore, Neri is a capable engineer, knowing how to repair starfighters, droids and freighters on her own.

Because the Flight Academy expected its students to travel, they offered classes in a wide variety of languages. Thanks to the academy, Neri is fluent in Galactic Basic and Huttese, and understands shyriiwook, Ryl and Jawa.

Having been part of Bespin's Security Force for a good five years, Neri received basic martial arts training in the well-known Teras-Kasi, and has experience wielding blaster rifles and blaster pistols.

Biography

Early Life

Born in one of the Whiphid's many tribes on the frigid world of Toola, Kraud was destined to become a hunter for his tribe. The Whiphid spent most of his early life learning how to pitch the tents, craft tools and basically how to survive. Eventually, both Kraud and his younger brother Sarnu were allowed to join the spearmaster and the adults Whiphids on the hunts for their tribe.

Against the time Kraud and Sarnu reached adulthood, they had become formidable hunters. Their tribe had shrunk in size, but prospered under the hunts performed and
9k.png
eventually led by the two brothers. That time came to an end, however, when a female Whiphid their age joined their tribe. The brothers both fell in love at first sight, both trying to impress her and gain her love.

The leader of their tribe noticed how, over time, the rivalry that had sparked between the brothers transformed into mutual hate for each other. In an attempt to prevent this from escalating any further, the leader asked the female Whiphid to decide who she wanted to be with. When she chose Kraud, however, Sarnu in a fit of rage attacked his brother. What followed, was a violent battle between the two fiercest warriors of their tribe. Sarnu emerged as victor from their bloody battle, demanding that Kraud had to leave Toola. Something the latter accepted in his defeat.

Exile

unknown.png

No longer allowed to live on Toola, the lone Whipid set out for the desert planet Cantonica, where he took up the role of bounty hunter, hired by wealthy casino owners to hunt down cheaters and frauds. Eventually, Kraud grew tired of the repetitive bounties. Therefore, the Whiphid made the decision to set out once again.

Travelling through the galaxy as both a merchant and a bounty hunter, Kraud learned about many different cultures, mastered many skills, languages and generally gained respect for those other than himself. During his travels, Kraud discovered something deep within himself; his connection to the Living Force. Failing to understand this part of himself at first, Kraud set out to gather knowledge on what his connection was, and what it meant for him.

Eventually, his search brought him to the jungles of Ajan Kloss, where he came into contact with the Jedi Order. Here, the Whiphid learned about the Force and the potential he had. Learning that he could make a difference and be part of something bigger, Kraud decided to stay with the Jedi and follow their teachings. And after years of training, the Whiphid reached the rank of Jedi Knight.

Personality

"I had a place I called home once. A place I can no longer return to."

unknown.png

Having lived a large part of his life on a world as frigid and extreme as Toola, Kraud has gained the traits of a true hunter and survivor. The short-tempered Whiphid is decisive, often patient, composed and stoic. Over time, however, he became a far more empathic and kind individual who carries himself through life with pride and confidence.

Like all other Whiphid tribes, the tribe Kraud grew up in consisted out of a loose association of individuals. Therefore, Kraud holds his close friends in high regard, seeing his close friends as his true family. It's a mindset that has made him very protective of those closest to him and easy to provoke if they are mentioned.

Something that still plagues the dreams of Kraud, is his loss to his brother in an arguably fair fight. His banishment from Toola bothers him greatly and while no one would stop him from returning, the Whiphid feels honour-bound to stay as far away from the planet as possible.

In the years that followed after he left Toola, Kraud changed for the better. He became more kind, tolerant and respectful towards others, while he kept a very down to earth approach to life, accompanied with a dry sense of humor. Those who get to know him quickly figure out that Kraud behind his daunting appearance is, in fact, a kind person with good intentions.

Abilities & Equipment

"If it's just one Wampa, I'll be fine."

unknown.png
While many believe Kraud to be past his physical prime, this is far from true. The years he spent as a hunter on Toola and later as a bounty hunter have kept him in an amazing physical shape, being physically stronger, more agile and faster than most, if not all younger men and animals he faced. Likewise, his stamina and endurance have diminished little, if not at all either. It makes the Whiphid a formidable and feared opponent, for any who might challenge him. His physical prowess has even further been enhanced by his Jedi training.

While he focused his Jedi training mostly on gathering knowledge of the Force, Kraud has skill and experience as a lightsaber duelist, as expected from a Jedi Knight. The Whiphid mainly studied Niman and Soresu, prioritizing survivability over defeating his opponents.

It cannot be denied, however, that Kraud has definitely slowed down when compared to the speed he once had. In combat he may prove to be a challenge, but once exhausted, the Whiphid needs a long time to recover.

Having spent a part of his life as a merchant, Kraud has mastered quite a few languages. He is fluent in Whiphid and Galactic basic, understands Huttese, Shyriiwook and a little binary.

A major weakness of the Whiphid, is his hesitancy to make use of advanced technology. For example, he prefers to ride on beasts instead of swoop bikes and prefers to utilize pen and paper instead of recorders. He is quite old school, so to speak.

The Force

unknown.png

Gifted with the Force and intrigued by it's mysteries, Kraud nowadays spends most of his time studying the Force. His broad interest in the Light side has led him to divide his focus between many fields of study, specifically taking an interest in more subtle Force techniques, such as Force Sense and Force healing.

While it is not his favored approach to the Force, Kraud excels in the telekinetic aspect of the Force. Once the Whiphid is forced to intervene in violent affairs, it is often his go-to approach.

Equipment

Kraud's equipment usually consists out of his lightsaber, a holoprojector, a comlink, small binoculars and a small med pack. Kraud is also in possession of rebreathing apparatus. Less notable but still present, are the food and energy capsules he often keeps fastened to his belt.

Biography

Born as the second daughter of a minor noble in the matriarchal Hapan society, Nakira was destined to join the military. She had no say in this, for her parents only cared about the image of their family. Therefore, the young girl was groomed by her family's servants to eventually enroll into most prestigious military academy of the Hapes Consortium.

The years she spent at the academy were relatively peaceful. Her classes were demanding, the physical training challenging and the mental aspect even more so, but Nakira endured. She proved to be a very capable student, excelling in most of her classes. In fact, she stood out enough to be selected as a candidate for the Hapan Royal Guard, the handpicked security Force of the Queen Mother herself.

After she graduated, Nakira was allowed to join the Hapan Royal Guard. Never had she been more proud of herself. That was, until her first actual mission. Acting on the Queen's orders, her unit had to aid a nearby system in defending the capital against a major uprising. It was during this mission that Nakira first came to realize that she lacked something vital; killer instinct. The three months she spent defending the system traumatized her. The nightly bombing raids, the massacres and the Darkness that surrounded her life all played a part in this.

When she returned from her mission, the young woman immediately resigned. She returned to her ancestral home; a failure and a disgrace to their family. In the two years that followed, Nakira made a futile attempt to regain her family's approval. She tried to learn etiquette, became far more elegant and generally tried to act like a true Lady worthy of her title. But none of it was enough.

Finally realizing that no matter how hard she tried it wouldn't make a difference, Nakira ran away from home. She left Hapes behind her, hoping to find a purpose elsewhere in the galaxy.

During her travels, Nakira came in contact with strangers; magicians who called themselves 'Jedi'. They revealed to her that she possessed abilities beyond those of normal men and women, and invited her to join them on Ajan Kloss. With nowhere else to go, Narika accepted their invitation, officially joining the Jedi Order upon her arrival.

Personality

Nakira is a kind a generous person, but never to her own detriment. She has a playful streak and enjoys teasing her friends and acquaintances. While she is a lighthearted individual, Nakira is often the voice of restraint and reason. She is grounded and not one to mince words, preferring to get straight to the point. When difficult subjects are discussed, however, Nakira prefers to beat around the bush or to stay on the sidelines.

Her evasiveness on difficult subjects originates from her brief time as a Hapan Royal Guard. She was often instructed to listen and observe, instead of sharing her opinions on the different subjects. Her short career left her with a lot of strengths as well. She is disciplined, respects her superiors, is great at teamwork and can act well under pressure.

As a Hapan, Narika suffers from extreme night blindness. Because she was present during a bombing run that happened in the middle of the night, Narika is extremely afraid in the dark. She often finds herself paralyzed and unable to move once her eyes fail her, due to the trauma she experienced.

Abilities & Equipment

Nakira's time in the military academy and her short lived career as a Royal Guard have left her with a valuable skill set. Not only has she learned to use her beauty as a Hapan to her advantage, but she is also a capable pilot, engineer and tactician. She has learnt how to lie and hide her true motives, possesses the basic survival skills and is familiar with a multitude of martial arts, such as Teras Käsi and Corellian kickboxing.

In the brief time she has been part of the Jedi Order, Nakira has proven to be a fast learner. She is well on her way with Form I, understands the tenets of the code and has started to grasp the basics of the Force.

  • Utility belt
    • Comlink
