Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl ground his teeth as Romeo brought up the subject of the Sith Empire being invited by the New Republic- with the ISC's support- to join the Galactic Senate. A significant voice and a wide-reaching platform was being given to murderers with the blood of millions on their hands. Wisely, the Mandalorian didn't give Aezzairrfhowrrhudrrl time to begin to rant, quickly steering the conversation towards something actionable; the touring of their planets so that plans could be further solidified.
The Wookiee was quick to defend his planet's current status to his... associate... from Dosh, however. "Kashyyyk's ecosystem has been recovering most impressively" he said. "Wroshyr wood is incredibly difficult to damage or burn" -even diamond saws broke trying to cut down the trees- "and outside of where the onagers struck, most of the Wroshyr trees survived." The rest of the galaxy may have written off Kashyyyk, but the jungle planet had begun to heal in the years following the bombardment, aided by the prodigious growth rate that the planet enjoyed from its long-ago terraforming.
What the Wookiee didn't mention was that while the foliage and underbrush grew back quickly, the planet's population and industry did not. Several major cities had been hit, and millions of Wookiees had died. Even taking the humanity out of those staggering numbers laid bare the simple truth that Wookiees did not repopulate as quickly as the planet did.
"Please let me know when you have finished your tour of Dosh, and we can schedule a tour of what Kashyyyk can offer" he said to the two Mandalorians, making a note of their armor and markings. He intended to do as much research on these two warriors as possible in order to determine exactly how much of Kashyyyk's capacity they would truly get to see. There was some benefit to the galaxy writing you off, of course...
