The Fallen Blade or Bane of the Jedi, was once the Lightsaber of a Jedi Knight millennia ago before darkness corrupted his heart and mind and its owner became one of the first 'Jedi Exile's'. The blade would go on to take many a Jedi's lives in the carnage which followed.

Throughout the Hundred Year Darkness, this Lightsaber fought across the galaxy, bringing terror and fear with it. Its last recorded destination was Illum, for during the deception and subsequent battle its owner was killed and the sabre vanished from history.

Description

The Fallen Blade was created on the planet of Tython to a Zabrak Jedi Knight, who's named has been erased from the history books. The blades outer shell was once much lighter in color than the current model, an ash white with gold inlays and a crystal blue blade.

After its owner fell to the Dark Side of the Force and was banished from the Jedi and Republic space it began a transformation similar to its master. Gone was the ash white and gold instead replaced with matte black and silver and over time the beautiful blue blade was corrupted and turned into a deep red.

The craftsmanship of the blade was well known among the Jedi Exiles and many a duel was fought over the desire for the weapon. Its legend grew through the Order and on the Exile's return to the Galaxy during the Hundred Year Darkness it was worn into battle by some of the Dark Jedi's strongest warriors.
