DESCRIPTION​

Mind Shard - also known as Mental Subjugation or Mind Probe - is a dark side Force power used to extract information from a target while inflicting the most pain possible. Mental subjugation works by having the caster project the Force into the target's mind like a hot knife, shredding through mental defenses to siphon information hidden within the target's mind. The technique is so forceful that it causes tremendous waves of physical pain in the target, allowing it to double as a torture technique.

Still, it is a willpower-focused technique that requires absolute focus and the caster to be stronger in the Force than their intended target. A stronger target can resist with their own mental defenses. The caster must also be careful how hard they push this technique on their target. Too much at once can turn the mind to mush and render the target a vegetable. Therefore, careful control is needed. In order to overcome the mental barriers of another, this technique is often used in conjunction with drugs and traditional interrogation methods.

SPECIAL NOTES​

This technique cannot be used in PvP combat. However, in the case of a capture or interrogation scenario, it can be used to extract information. It can also be used on NPCs.
