BIOGRAPHY
"Clan over credits, credits over pride. Put nothing between yourself and your prize."
For a long time J'eek's Jawa trading clan had been in a dire place. They had been suffering from constant raids by the nearby Tuskens, lack of business due to being pushed far away from most human encampments had made things like credits and food a scarce resource. Many among the clan were turning desperate, stealing from and attacking one another. This is the clan that J'eek grew up in, constantly looking over your shoulder and fighting tooth and nail with your own people to make claim on your own survival. At the age of 18 he had enough and left home with a few of his fellow clan members to turn to piracy, their first target being the Tusken clans who've tormented them so, all under J'eek's leadership. They just needed to prepare.
Their first move was to get gear, they robbed a few of the stockades from their own clan to acquire blasters and other small arms. While the others hesitated at the thought of stealing from their own clan, J'eek justified it by saying they were no longer members of that clan, and it had eaten itself into disarray long ago. They would be something more, something greater. They began studying, both how to use a blaster and the tactics they could use. It would be easy to pick off humans, because not many traveled that far, and no one knew the sands like the Jawa. They changed their robes colors to blend in better with the area, adding light colors to them instead of their dark brown robes, Tusken raider robes would help provide the cloth they need. Finally they needed a ship, not just for easier raids but because J'eek was no longer settled with simply scavenging left overs on the sands of Tatooine. As luck would have it, they were able to find a small crashed freighter ship, get it to working condition. The new clan motto was painted over the side (see above) and they were finally prepared to begin making a name for themselves and get revenge on the raiders who wronged them. All they needed was a clan name, and "Dororo" seemed to roll off the tongue when one of his men said it.
Personality
J'eek considers himself to act solely on the basis of pragmatism. He doesn't go with what's honorable or fair, but with what works. Any chance of him being honorable died with what he saw of his former clan. He does, however, value two things over his believed pragmatism: His clan and credits. He often places the value of another's life in the form of credits, often willing to let people he captures go if they have enough money to pay for their life. He cares for his small clan more than anything, doing whatever it takes to ensure that all of his men stay alive through any mission or situation they find themselves in.
He is extremely protective of fellow Jawas, and considers their lives to be more important than any other race. On the opposite side of this his hatred of Tusken raiders is deep, being wholly unwilling to make deals with them and attacking them should he be given a chance. Despite his strong feelings for both of those races, should it come down to it he is willing to put coin before grudges.
Equipment/Crew
- The crews ship, called "Sandy Escape", which is a basic light freighter.
- Two other jawa pirates, with the basic cloth and stun batons.
Goals
To get vengance on the Tusken clans that have tormented them for so long and lead both his clan and other Jawa clans alike to prosperity for years to come.
Skills
- J'eek is a skilled marksman, mostly due to his intense focus and practice in the sands of Tatooine hunting womp rats and other wildlife.
- He is a decent pilot, having spent several days attempting to learn how to fly his new ship, and picking up tips from pilots who travel to and from Tatooine.
- He is also an incredibly talented splicer and mechanic, owing to his Jawa roots and natural talent. He specializes in robots.
- His main skill set is his ability to appraise most items value and abilities accurately with just a few moments with it. He mostly uses this while he is trading.
