CMBP-12n Nomad

Description:

the Nomad model blaster is a version of the CMBP-12 "Brawler Blaster" made in vast numbers for various PMCs (private military corporations/companies). Originally meant for law enforcement and paramilitary organizations manufacturering has resulted in numerous of these weapons falling in the hands of nifarious individuals over the course of the past five years. Many older Imperial Legion members sport a nomad as a sidearm as a sign of their time in the sacred band of ziost before the reform of the brotherhood into the empire. Easy to use, effective in a fight and cheap to produce the Nomad is a perfect well rounded side arm for any troop composition.

there are a few differences from the original design. firstly it is shorter only slightly in length as well as colored all black so as to not attract attention in covert operations. the second difference is the removal of the hand guard. this allows for varying hand sizes to hold it more comfortably as well as making drawing the weapon swifter and more fluid. around the bolt emitter instead of one laser sight there are two additional sights allowing for an iconic triangular appearance when centered on the target. everything else is virtually the same as the traditional CMBP-12.

Intent: Generic blaster pistol for the more militant than average civilian. others were requesting sith specific generic tech without having to go through the trouble of setting it up as faction tech so it is here in generic tech. the model is based off of the existing CMBP-12 in the approved tech section. Is one of the more available versions of mando origin tech.

Description:
the Talon was the mainstay of the Sith Brotherhood's infantry forces. it provided decent firepower for low cost creation. not exceptionally strong, fast firing, or accurate it is consistent. with the rise in production requests by the Moffs of the Sith Brotherhood after the first battle of Serenno designers were contracted to come up with a cost effective weapon for the increase in troop numbers for the brotherhood without sacrificing major capabilities of the weapon. It has sense fallen from the common usage by the Sith Empire and has found its way into the hands of various individuals and organizations around sith space.

A fair sized ammunition capacity allows it to lay down enough fire. the Talon has the capability of switching between a steady rate of fire of three hundred rounds per minute. this can be pretty low compared to other weapons but it keeps the weapon from too much strain, over heating, and needing regular maintenance. the magazine on the underside of the stock allows for easy reloading from either left or right handed users. the sights of the weapons come fit with night sights but have a top mounted rail for customization at the cost of credits.

Description: the Cirrus commlink is more than a simple device to send and receive audio calls. unlike other devices it is in short a computer in a simple easy to carry hand held device. with the Cirrus an individual can tell time, connect with other digital devices wirelessly, communicate and emulate older devices as well support numerous applications. now you no longer have to store your music on a separate device specifically made for music in addition to your commlink and instead just carry around the Cirrus. built by DDI it is sturdy and reliable even in a rough working environment so don't worry about sticking it in the same pocket as your keys or pocket change.

the Cirrus weighs five ounces by itself and comes with a universal charging cord. the battery lasts for a full twenty four hours (without excessive use) and have cases and screen protectors to customize your personal device even further. it comes in three colors, charcoal black, sun rise orange, and blizzard white. there is a jack for headphones but those are sold separately as some species have different sized (and number of) ears (or lack them altogether) but sound can be played on speaker.

Intent:
I didn't see a generic write up for a commlink and i figured numerous people have probably referenced using one in a thread and it's part of everyday life so there should be a model out there. this is basically a smartphone that i want to be not as good as modern day cell phones but still somewhere in between a "data-pad" and a simple "commlink". this is not supposed to be as powerful as our current day cellphones. keep in mind that there still has to be some progression in the future and i want this to be an "early mode" prior to more advanced and successful ones come out. yes i know i'm using a lot of "quotations" in this intent but i"don't care". Also this has recently been reformatted to fit the preferences post time skip.

Description:
the Clanhunter, the Brawler Blaster, Nomad and numerous other blaster designs are in circulation all with their own positives and negatives. The Parallax light blaster pistol is meant to be used in pairs. each holds a twenty round power pack that is reloaded through the bottom of the grip. its composition is primarily of dallorian alloy allowing it to be fire rapidly without losing efficiency through overheating. the majority of the weapon that remains consists of a polymer material making it exceptionally light and ignore problems like rust and dirt to the extent and mostly metallic weapon is prone to. to add to this low recoil thanks to the lower damage rating of the shots keeps the sights closer to targets on repetitive fire.

the Parallax blaster does not bear any fancy sights or do-dads. owners find its basic construction to be more than enough to quickly put numerous rounds down range while hitting the desired target. though it is exceptionally accurate depending on the wielder this can be a hindrance. the longer design makes quick drawing them more difficult than a smaller blaster.

Intent: Upon request this is a "generic" version of this time lines version of Westar blaster pistol. rapid fire, accurate and good for dual wielding.

Description:

The Parallax blaster pistol is very effective and appreciated for what it is but less commonly though still effective is the Alternator blaster pistol. hailing from the same product line as the Parallax the Alternator has increase punch. in exchange it has a smaller round capacity as well as rate of fire. its increased range however allows enemies to be kept at a range and keep the recoil to a minimum. increased weight allows for lower recoil as well and for the longer range to actually be an effective characteristic.

like it's predecessor the Alternator is usually purchased and used in pairs as a wielder often "alternates" from one to the other. the increase length and weight make quick drawing the weapon highly unlikely which is why it is better for preemptive ranged combat. the top of the weapon does support a rail for a scope to be utilized or other sights. these are sold separately and are advised to be light and minimalistic though. it is also advised that it be done by a member of the DDI company otherwise the owner runs the risk of voiding the warranty or even worse, damaging their weapon.

Intent: Upon request this is a "generic" version of this timeline's version of Westar blaster pistol. rapid fire, accurate and good for dual wielding. a slightly "alternate" (ha, see what i did there?) version of the Parallax blaster pistol.

Description:


A mainstay and common site on mandalorian backwater planets. coming in a variety of designs the Revolution hand cannon pack a powerful punch to accompany its heavy weight. long has this heavy blaster been in circulation allowing it to move through markets and even to other areas of the galaxy. they are rugged and reliable sidearms and even used as primary means of self-defense. one of the first weapons ever made by Dawnward Arms it is an iconic representation of the company itself.

low on ammo capacity it makes up for this with the amount of firepower it can dish out. models are most commonly breakaction at a point of pivoting just forward of the trigger guard. its heavy weight helps to reduce recoil of the powerful shots. noted for having a simple design it can be dropped in the mud, picked out of water and exposed to the elements over prolonged periods of time and still function effectively. because of this well kept sidearms can be passed down from generation to generation. some enthusiasts even know of specific models as they have histories dating back to the numerous wars of Concord Dawn.

Most often these weapons are heavy in design. Used as an improvised weapon in predecessors has led to newer models sometimes possessing a guard not unlike the "brawler blaster" sometimes festooned with rivets or even serrated edges for the particularly aggressive gunslinger. Either way they can cause some serious bludgeoning damage to the unprotected individual with a decent pistol whip.


Intent: since i did about one of every other blaster pistol type thought i'd also do a heavy blaster pistol as well. this is basically an energy based hand cannon. meant to be a generic 44 magnum. I also dig the gun that Vash used in Trigun and thought i'd have a little flavor of the ol west.

Description:


the CMBP-12 is a common sight in the galaxy but the model 17 is far less seen as that is the whole reason behind its existence. a shorter muzzle and overall frame, removed grip guard to only protect the trigger and lighter composition allows for concealed carry. because the model 12 has become quite popular the model 17 came out to cater towards those that were of smaller stature, allow for lower visibility and also lower budget.


Intent: a mandalorian made holdout blaster. basically a generic version of the brawler blaster. Wanted something that would be more desecrate but not necessarily an assassin's style of weapon. Just more of a concealed carry, primarily self defense as well as species of meeker appearance.

Description:

While some are happy with a blaster that can kill any assailant there are those that prefer to not end the lives of those that they are opposing. made for those like bounty hunters that wish to capture their quarry unharmed and also for those that wish for non-lethal self defense the PP-303 is the perfect model.

low on ammo capacity these are one of the requirements for a weapon of such small size. made for average human sized hands it can be unweildy in the hands of larger beings. easy to be conealed in an individual's pockets, bags or elsewhere it is almost impossible to notice the weapon unless explicitly seen, felt, or detected by sensors.

INTENT​

for the wealthy, ostentatious and deep pocketed population of the galaxy​

DESCRIPTION​

Designed to be a relaxing and enjoyable vessel for the wealthy only a handful have ever been commissioned. it is no surprise that it costs on average 500 million credits to make. five guest suites allow for up to ten passengers with a master cabin allowing for another two. while yachts are not uncommon for those with deep pockets and large bank accounts it is the garden at the top of the Harmony super yacht that makes it stick out. private gardens for those with green thumbs are kept safe and protected. often owners that favor invasive species or the delicate kind keep their plants inside the protected environment of the garden. the gardens can be designed by the owner to have ponds, walkways, open grass areas or even trees of smaller sizes.

the Harmony series of super yacht can reach altitudes of two kilometers on calm days but this is far from speedy. it often takes an hour or so to reach that height but allows for parachuting and other activities the wealthy may partake in. the repulsor technology allows for it to glide over water as well as raise above most terrain that normal land speeders would be hindered by but it is far from speedy. inside the cargo hold can have up to two air speeders or other equally sized vehicles. a gym, hot tub, high end bar and dining area as well as a number of other rooms to be customized at the owner's discretion are among the other amenities the Harmony has to offer.

Description:

Force forging weapons has predated the lightsaber and for a time was thought to be a lost art. But recently events and style has brought a return to the classic ways of weapon smiting. Zeff Exach has made this greatsword for the Imperial Warlord Szebat as a gift. It is fairly heavy but since it is a forged weapon it can be wielded to the same extent as a lightsaber. While its original composition would be deemed impractical the manner in which it was made allows it to compete with a lightsaber in melee combat as well as never dull. The sharpness of the blade is honed to a razor's edge allowing it to cut through flesh with ease. The ridged cross guard protects its wielder as well as can be used as a weapon in its own right. the pommel as well is pointed and can easily force violent trauma to Szebat's enemies. This is also where the kyber crystal resides within the weapon.

A notable physical appearance is the dark, almost primitive aesthetic the weapon has. This complements the savage but efficient lethality of its owner perfectly and is to not be underestimated. Perhaps the most remarkable characteristic of the weapon is its unnerving blade. An effect of the weapon is that with each life it takes it adds a glowing red tally mark that pulses with violent hunger when unsheathed and in the hands of the warlord. Whether it does so upon elimination of its victim or whether there is some dark ritual afterwards conducted by the barbel warrior it is unknown, it can be said for certain that the numerous tally marks upon it continue to increase every time it is unsheathed and show no sign of slowing down.

The galaxy's version of the highway series cargo truck​

DESCRIPTION​

Supplies and merchandise come and go intra-stellar frequently and that's what the Bonnacan transport. The cargo containers are responsible for regulating their contents independently and can not be accessed directly from the transport. the Bonnacan can reach a max speed of 300 kph in atmosphere and 55 sublight when unburdened by cargo. models with a class 0.8 hyperdrive can be bought straight from the manufacturer or alternatively there can be a light blaster cannon turret mounted to the rear. most buyers go for the later and let interstellar freight be handled by freighters. also it can be purchased without either making its already relatively low price even more affordable. Containers are acquired separately and can come in numerous forms whether it be refrigerated, passenger containers, or liquid hauling. A crew of one is all that is needed to operate the craft and the small space that runs along the interior of the transport.

Description:

The temperament of the blade gives it a rolling green cloud color to it and an effect that appears like shadowy smoke is rolling off of the blade gently. The kyber crystal in its hilt is infused with Zeff's own dominating temperment and several other precious gems reside on it. A diamond said to be the compressed carbon remains of old sith lords and the jedi alike.

Description: Much like the combrace the WIC-5 is a Dawnward Design Industries version of the device for hands free communication. While it is virtually the same as other vambrace mounted comlinks it is known for being resistant to environmental scratches and rough use. This isn't enough to stand high damage like a blaster bolt or violent attacks though.

An extendable and retractable fiber-cord can directly connect to a terminal, data-pad or other communicator for faster transfer of data. It comes with an illuminating function that can be used to light a dark area but depending on the intensity this could lower the battery life faster than normal. The device can be detached from the forearm and held in both hands like a traditional commlink though his bulkier than a standard handheld one but makes up for it as it also doubles as a datapad, holo-projector, and commlink simultaneously.

A headset jack is also available for listening to music if one wants and can have any number of applications open to the public. This is available to any and all in Mandalorian Dominion space as it has started circulating in the open market over the past year. While it isn't cheap it is worth the purchase and only under heavy abuse have any needed replacement. A good tool for any user in plain clothes with numerous practical and entertaining uses depending on the user.

Description:

Few weapons have gained such renown as the Grand Administrating Hammer of Banishments. It's origins are a mystery having moved around the galaxy from one legendary figure to the next. It has been used in numerous wars of epic importance, striking down the lowest of scum to the highest of kings. If its name is any indication it is a tool to be reckoned with. The item is a hammer of solid appearance. The smell of sea-salt wafting from it ominously while sigils and incantations writhe and move in various designs, never staying very long to be deciphered. Some say they can hear the calls of its victims wailing in the wake of every continued swing. It has even gained reputation in popular media and cultural references though many people don't even realize the origin of such things.

But it is a weapon without biased in terms of the force. Its reputation is great but it is not a dark-side nor lightside weapon. It is a balance between the two, taking no side and being apart from all but can easily bring the end to a wielder of either type of the force. A title usually follows the wielder of the weapon, simply known as The Administrator. Some might scoff at the title thinking it is a bureaucratic position but this underestimation has been the fault of many "banned" individuals.

The Shaft can be extended telescopically to almost a full meter and still retain its resistance to lightsaber damage. Since it is a force forged weapon it also feels exceptionally light and wielded with ease by a force user. While it can be swung with deft assurance it will still feel like the full force of a hammer of supernatural power. The weapon compounds the strength of the user if it tunes to their judgement. But those that try to use it and are unworthy of the Grand Administrating Hammer of Banishment soon find themselves the subject of an unlucky fate. It is both a blessing and a curse to wield such a tool of power, one that is not taken lightly.
