Castein Sirus

B A C K G R O U N D
As the man titled the Executive Officer of the Corporate Sector Authority, Castein Sirus is the head of state and face of the Corporate Sector and wields considerable amounts of power. Not much is known about Castein. Unknown to most; In life, Castein was born under a different name in the lower rungs of Corporate Sector society on the planet Bonadan.
It was from there that he struggled and started clawing his way to power, Bit by bit. His methods were ruthless. Now having gained some power, he would change his name to what it is now. He would work his way up the ladder in the various corporations, becoming a seasoned executive in his own right. His powerbase grown, his finances swelled, and his web of contacts grew. Before too long, he would become a Viceprex.
After the current ExO resigned and retired, there would be a new race for ExO and Castein had his eyes on his position. Castein declared his intent for the now vacated post. He was then nominated for the position by a Direx Board member, seconded by another, and in the end, he got the majority of Direxes on his side, leaving Castein to be appointed to the position of ExO.
Castein's platform is all about allowing Corporate Sector-based companies to continue to rake in maximum profit while ensuring the safety and security of the region of space. The new ExO is also keen to get the Corporate Sector 'more involved' in galactic affairs while still keeping true to the CSA's longstanding neutrality.
