BIOGRAPHY
Ash'Rak grew up on the home planet of the Togrutans, Shili. His family belonged to a small tribe on the southern part of the main continent. The tribe only consisted of 80 to 90 people and the tribe as a whole relied on the old way of living as a nomadic tribe. Technology was rare and only used in specific instances.
Ash'Rak grew up learning to hunt and track from his mother, while his father worked as a guard for the tribe's chief. He was quick to pick up knowledge from his mother's training and was soon able to hunt on his own at 12. He had a few friends in the tribe and they would go running through the woods for fun.
One day around Ash'Rak's 13th birthday he was out hunting for food for the house. While he was gone an abnormally large and aggressive Akul attacked the village, killing most of the tribe and scattering the rest. All Ash'Rak found when he returned was blood and gore. His family was either among the mess or long gone.
In anger Ash'Rak tracked the beast for years. He hunted for food to keep himself alive and trained on any Akul he could find. During this time he discovered his Force Sensitivity. After two years, Ash'Rak finally felt ready to slay the beast. He hunted it down and fought it for hours. Eventually, he slew it, but not before receiving claw marks over most of his body. With nothing left to do, Ash'Rak headed to the nearest major city while taking the time to heal his wounds. Upon reaching the city, a wandering Jedi noticed him and convinced him to join the Order. With no other family and no money, Ash'Rak agreed.
Ash'Rak, unsatisfied with the normal Jedi training decided to make things much more difficult for himself. Knowing that Jedi are hunted and combat is inevitable, he persues the Form IV: Ataru style of combat. To make things even riskier, Ash'Rak has taken a personal Vow of Blindness while he remains a Padawan. He wears a blindfold and relies on both his montrals and the Force to guide him.

Personality
Ash'Rak is a stubborn and strongwilled person. He questions everything he is taught and doesn't always follow orders. Due to his experiences as a child, he is suspisious of strangers and struggles to control his emotions.
Ash'Rak is very intelligent but only focuses on combat and survival. He shirks his studies in anything he believes will not benefit him in a confrontation. Ash'Rak is very proud, but will generally ignore insults to himself. When someone he cares about is insulted, he loses his temper quickly. Ash'Rak is slow to make friends, but when he does they are for life. He will lay down his life for anyone he considers a friend.
Ash'Rak has a sweet tooth and a love for chocolate. Sweets were rare as a younger child so Ash'Rak hordes them. Due to this, he can be bribed to do things he dislikes if there are sweets involved. Ash'Rak also loves discovering new foods on planets that he visits.
