Clan Wren saw many strong warriors fade to black in the last decade, which included many blood relatives of the former Border Alliance Naval officer Lorr. As a result Lorr has become somewhat bitter and uncaring in regards to the consequences of his actions and the value of sentient life. Naturally, then, that when the Grand Army of the Republic collapsed and he joined the new Mandalorian Dominion, his resentment towards the Mand'alor's refusal to raid the Jedi temples grew more intense with every passing moon.
While he served as first officer on a Hammerhead-corvette under the greats like Commander Tygo Hulas, supporting the latter in his daring attacks deep in then Brotherhood territory, his disagreements with Ral Viszla had cost him his officer role in the Dominion. Assigned to serve and fight as an ordinary commando, Lorr went from dutiful spacer to a frequenter of Mandalore's bars where he often got himself into brawls. In any other society that would've been a reason for dismissal from the service, but among Mandalorians his ferocity was admired.
During one of these brawls he came in contact with Caedryn Viszla and later with Talia Al'Saif with whom he bonded over cigarra's, drinks and the formulation of a plan that was the complete opposite from the Mand'alor's strategic plans. Lorr was convinced that the glory and honor of a good fight was when fighting the Jedi Army, which was the most powerful adversary in the galaxy, and his ruler's reluctance to even look at them funny made Lorr even more enthusiastic about Talia's daring plan.
The Darksaber would be wielded by a Mandalorian hand again.
