Vici's "Road Armor" is a largely improvised set of protective gear cobbled together by the young Amaran from a selection of off-the-shelf items. Consisting mainly of an anti-abrasion body glove and a crash helmet, it is worn as an under-layer beneath a standard cutoff jacket and rolled-down flight suit. Its only real armor is in the chest, as well as the aforementioned helmet, with the garment meant primarily to give maximum flexibility for the wearer while also giving some protection from contusions and road rash in the event of a crash, and coincidentally from some weapons fire and environmental hazards.

The Road Armor's helmet contains a number of functions, including a scout and survival HUD projected on the interior of the visor, a filtration system to remove toxins from outside air, and a built-in comlink. The body glove, meanwhile, provides some protection from airborne toxins. Vici also owns a pair of gription boots to complete the ensemble.

Legal pretty much everywhere. Being light and composed of pieces readily available at your average retail store, it tends not to draw more attention than any other swooper getup.

To create a set of armor based on the outfit worn in the character's reference image.

No. Vici's Road Armor could theoretically be assembled by anyone with a few credits to spend, or willing to shoplift the pieces.

    Type: Light.

    • Head: Full crash helmet with protective visor.
    • Torso: Plastoid vest covering chest area.
    • Back: Back-plate of aforementioned plastoid vest.

    Function 1: Scout HUD.
    • Contains a 4x magnifier and compass.
    Function 2: Survival HUD.
    • Reads atmospheric composition and detects toxins.
    Function 3: Filter.
    • Filters are bulky attachments to a helmet or function as part of a mask, and filter out environmental contaminants such as smoke or most airborne toxins. They are susceptible to caustic substances (like acid clouds) and are sensitive to damage (like being crushed).
    Function 4: Environment Suit.
    • While it is not rated for extended exposure to extreme hazards, this body suit (when combined with an enclosed helmet) can protect the wearer's body from the effects of environmental and weaponized toxins or similar hazards for up to 5 posting rounds.
    Function 5: Gription Boots.
    • Gription boots are a catch all term for footwear that contains electromagnets, repulsors, or other tech in the soles and allow for steady movement on ferrous surfaces in micro-gravity, steep gradients, and even upside down. This functionality must be turned on or off manually by a button or switch.
