Many escape pods. Modified Comet sublight booster DESCRIPTION The Sol'yc Mer'sheb (translation: "First Smartass") is a stolen Audacious-class corvette. It was a vessel used by the Sith Empire primarily as a ship-of-the-line; with its large guns, armor and shields, it is meant primarily for taking on other capital warships, such as enemy corvettes and frigates. It was also sometimes used in a siege role, being a minor part of planetary bombardment operations and similar fleet engagements. Now it serves the same purpose only under the command of new masters. The external paint job and sigils of the clan are emblazoned on the ship's hull. A crimson exterior with black markings. The hull is only mildly changed to a superficial extent and otherwise the ship itself remains the same as it was when originally made. The Sol'yc Mer'sheb is well armed, equipped with 8 medium dual laser turrets, 4 heavy laser turrets and a pair of fixed turbolasers, allowing it to deal with most capital ships of similar size easily enough. Notably, however, the type does not possess weapons or targeting systems which are particularly effective against starfighters and other small, very maneuverable craft, making them dependent on support vessels such as the canopy-class corvette to fend off attacks from such vessels. Like other Audacious class corvettes it can carry up to 4 starfighters of its own, plus a single shuttle. Sol'yc Mer'sheb, due to its vulnerability against starfighters, is best suited within a flottilla or fleet, usually in tandem with support vessels such as the aforementioned canopy. Anybody that comes across the Sol'yc Mer'sheb should proceed with caution. The modified Comet Sublight Booster is not unlike its smaller cousin the XXX Sublight Booster and allows the Sol'yc Mer'sheb the ability to give it the same duration of speed though limits it to +10 MGLT instead of the normal +15. Same dangers to over use still apply. LEGALITYRestricted. Audacious-class corvettes are common enough, but are considered capital warships, generally making them illegal for civilian ownership. Almost all extant examples are also property of the Sith Empire though in this case The Sol'yc Mer'sheb is a specific audacious class corvette and one of a kind as it has been made the specific property of Clan Solus of the Mandalorian faction.
