Tagal had to admit that the Quickdraw pistol was something of a work of art - he admired the craftsmanship that was employed in making the weapon to begin with because he was a smith. He admired the fact that it was a deadly bit of kit because he was a Mandalorian. Let it never be said that there weren't layers to him.

Sitting on the bumper of a speeder car, Tagal hummed as he busied himself cleaning one of his own pistols. Nothing as fancy as the stuff that the company they were after made but then he hadn't really ever needed them to be anything fancy.

    The reason why he was idly cleaning and disassembling his pistol was because he was waiting. Waiting for two things actually;

Waiting for the target to show up so he could tail him.

And waiting for the Mandalorian who was going to be his partner for the mission.

Tagal hoped that his ally wasn't going to show up with the visor. He trusted that Tasha wasn't friends and colleagues with morons but there were some Mandalorians out there that were just too prideful to use anything else.

    ...

Kark, if he was going to catch shite for not wearing beskar this was going to be a long day.

    ____________

    Red Right Hand
Burkhart looked at his wrist for a moment. His red right arm plates were painted a deep crimson, a reminder of the cybernetic arm underneath and what he had both gained and lost from its sacrifice. He was the man with a red right hand today, not a Field Marshal of the Mandalorians.

Beneath him the aspalt passed quickly and he looked up once again to see where he was going. The ground was slightly wet, the overcast sky giving an inkling to the earlier precipitation. For now though, no water was falling from the sky and for that Burkart figured it was not a completely terrible day. As he came upon the meeting spot with his cohort he did not approach from the view of the target they were going to be observing. Instead he came from the direction that Tagal would not be watching though Burkhart had no intention of arriving stealthily either. The low thrum of his Locust speeder bike was enough to alert the passive Saxon clan member of his approach.

Coming to a stop he dismounted the bike and walked over near where Tagal was sitting. He stared at the man from behind his unassuming armor. His normal beskar'gam normally had been unknown to the Sith for a long time as it lacked a traditional T visor. But ever sense he had earned Jaig Eyes and also gone into combat against the Empire he figured it was probably displayed somewhere on some officer break room notice board.

The fact that the man was cleaning his gun in what was close to being out in the open made Burkhart question him a little within his own mind for a few reasons but he did not voice any of them. "Ya see anythin?" He gestured towards the area ahead of them.

Setting his pistol back in order, Tagal holsters the weapon shortly after Burkhart actually arrives. The man is... large to say the least but Tagal wasn't exactly small either. He doubted that either of them was going to be completely unseen in a crowd but, in his experience, a crowd was more suspicious when everyone blended into the crowd. Large men and women were a thing in the galaxy and pretending otherwise just made everything seem a bit too sterile and same-y.

Or he was making up some internal excuse for why they weren't making progress when asked later.

    Whatever.

Taking out a pack of cigara from his pocket, Tagal lit one in his mouth before offering the pack to his ally. He doubted the other man would take one but it was a shitty thing to do, to light up without offering the same to your buddy. Regardless of how Burkhart responded, Tagal would take a pull on his cigara.

"He's in the liquor store." he told his ally simply, frowning slightly, "I hope we get better dirt on this guy aside from the fact that his favorite brand of whiskey is Zygerrian. Poor taste isn't a crime - even if that should be."

Zygerrian whiskey tasted of slave tears... which it probably was.

Their target emerged from the liquor store and started to make his way further downtown. Tagal remained where he was for five seconds, forcing himself to remain still, before he pushed off from his position to follow the man. The idea was to keep at least five people in the crowd between himself and their target at all times.

"You a tracker, Kelborn?" He asked idly as they moved, the crowd noise hiding their conversation, "Got the nose for it?"

Burkhart watched the man light up his small cigaras. He had two of his own large hand rolled cigaras that were as big around around as his thumb. "Thanks, but I perfer ta wait until tha joobs doon." He patted a pouch on his armor that had a case with two tubes. It would have been easily mistaken for ammo but infact held the vice he enjoyed from time to time. Small cigaras and tabac sticks went by too quickly anyways when his large lungs worked on them. They never satisfied his need for nicotine.

At the information regarding the target Burkhart took a step closer and turned hiss attention towards the liquor store. While he listened and waited for the man to emerge he found himself also taking in the details of the liquor store itself. He was a bootlegger after all. Zygerrian whiskey was for the ignorant and shifty in his opinion. Not much of a market for it compared to other alcohols. Burkhart got some footage of the man inside the store from their point of observation in case they needed it later.

The Morling was also eyeing the over all establishment. He had a few places of his own across the galaxy here and there so seeing how such places functioned was not something that was ignored. But it seemed like a rather average place and nothing special in this instance so he returned his attention to the man exiting the store.

When the Saxon asked him if he was a tracker he cocked an eyebrow underneath his helmet and looked at him. He would have taken that as an insult if the man before him was any of the other Mandalorians that had spent more time around the Kelborn clan. They were good trackers, and not just because he himself had exceptional physiology that could actually sniff out the target.

Without making an audible reply he activated his jet pack and flew up a few stories. He cut the jet pack just as he took one foot onto the roof and began walking with practiced ease. Two stories down was their target. Tagal could follow on foot but few people ever looked up allowing the large man to not need to worry about being picked out as an abnormality in the crowd. He held the recorder for a bit but would turn it off until further along in their tailing for CEO.

Huh well never let it be said that people didn't like to celebrate their jobs well done in their own ways. Tagal preferred to just get the job done and reward himself as he went but he supposed he could see the benefits of delaying the satisfaction until the end of the mission.

The other Mandalorian looked at him and only another Mandalorian could feel the unspoken words that came through. He shrugged a little bit - it wasn't like he knew the man or his clan personally. Not to mention that a lot of people were different to how the stereotypes portrayed their clans. Tagal wasn't what most people thought of when they thought of a Saxon after all.

Tagal watched as the Mandalorian activated his jetpack to fly up several stories. Watching the other Mandalorian ascend, he rolled his eyes a little bit.

    People and their toys.

Moving through the crowds at ground level, Tagal frowned a little bit as he watched their target round a corner that he wouldn't be able to turn for a few seconds in order to avoid making it look like he was following him.

"I'm blind - you got eyes on?"

Burkhart walked along the roof top, always keeping the target in his peripheral vision for only seconds at a time but otherwise focusing his attention on him. He would hop over small barriers between the roof tops, even passing a few lawn chairs from people who probably enjoyed people watching from the elevated position on occasion. But there were no souls on the roofs for the time being. He would have probably been considered a cat burglar, or rather a dog burglar.

The Morling watched as the man turned a corner, away from the side of the street Burkhart was on. He cursed to himself knowing to get on the other side of the street he would have to activate his jetpack over a street, that would be a bit suspicious if anybody heard or saw him.

"Yea, I see 'em. He's..." But he stopped himself for a moment as he saw after another dozen or so meters he stopped in front of a storefront. From the Morling's point of view and distance he could not make out the signage but he raised the holo recorder and still got it on the device. "He's stoppin in anotha shop."

After that he took a few steps back and made a run at the roof's edge. He wanted to clear as much distance as possible without using the jetpack. Leaping out into the three story high air of the street he activated a burst and cleared the space as fast as he could. His booted feet skidding to a stop on the surface of the other side.

Burkhart dusted himself off and looked back over the edge. Nobody had seemed to think anything of the noise, perhaps thinking a speeder had made a low fly by or something along those lines. Whatever, ignorance helped him move, he would take it.

Pushing through the crowds, Tagal cursed the fact that the people of Corellia seemed perfectly content to naturally swarm. This was exactly what happened when a planet got precisely too many people living on it all at once. City planets were something that Tagal really didn't care for and this was exactly proving his point. He was having to rely on Burkhart's reports about the activities of their target because of the rush of sentient life that was a busy day on Corellia.

"Another store?" He griped aloud, "This ain't some shopping district..."

He was really starting to hate Corellia.

Managing to make his way around the corner, he spotted the signage on the shop just as the man gave a password to the doorman and stepped inside, the door closing behind him. Tagal managed to snap a picture of the man entering the store with the signage actually fully visible.

"It's a brothel." he reported to Burkhart over their shared coms, "See if you can access the building from the rear - a picture of him paying for sex would be ideal. Then we can get the whore to confirm it after he's done. I'm going to try and find access round the side."

Burkhart was not able to see the man once he entered. He turned his gaze down to the street level and saw Tagal struggling to make his way through the crowd. Nar Shaddaa was bad and while the Morling had business there from time to time he disliked how cramped it felt. The same went for every highly populated place. Concord Dawn was perfect for him and anything more than that just had him worrying about how things could go south quickly.

"I'm gonna go through tha roof actually. It's closer." He said in response. The Morling would have had to either go all the way down the building he was in and cross the street to get to the back side of the Brothel if he did not want to use his jet pack. He did end up using his jet pack though and like before wooshed across the open space and landed on roof of the place of purchased companionship. He would have had to go all the way down the back side of the building too to go in from the ground floor back entrance. Seemed much more realistic and effecive to pinch from roof and lower level.

"He won't stay on tha first floor" He said to Tagal. Burkhart was not sure if the man had ever been in a brothel before but the rooms were usually upstairs. The Alor of clan Kelborn had his own experience with escorts and purchased release and it gave him some insight to this sort of situation.

He began descending the stairway that led downstairs. He kept his hand held recorder ready in case he witnessed an opportune moment. This day would probably not come up in honorable mentions of glorious days. Sneaking into a brothel to gain blackmail material, look out how far we've come. He thought mockingly to himself.

    Going in through the roof?

Well that would probably work actually but it wasn't really an option for Tagal. Not for the first time, Tagal regretted destroying his old armour but that wasn't something to worry about right now. Right now he was going to need to make his way into the establishment and get the blackmail material that they needed. Moving around to the side of the building, Tagal thanked his lucky stars that there was, indeed, a side door to the place.

Moving closer, he waited with a cigara, for all intents and purposes just looked like he was out for a smoke. The side door opened and a kitchen worker stepped out, talking on a comlink loudly to his girlfriend. Tagal slipped into the club before the door could close behind the worker.

    "I'm in on ground floor."

He looked through the crowds as he stepped directly onto the main floor of the ground floor, spotting their target moving up the stairs towards the first floor.

    "Target going up as suspected."

Getting down the first flight he wondered if he even needed his weapons. What was the worst that was going to happen? Chances were that if he was just simply carrying all of this hardware that would make these people think he was here for more than just blackmail and result in them taking some offensive action against him.

That passed though as he came to the carpetted hallway. Nobody resided up or down either end. "Got'em" He replied as he saw the person coming up the stairway below him. Quickly he ducked back up the flight back from whence he had come and waited.

Giggling and soft voices reached his pointed ears. Burkhart raised his recorder to get the video of their target coming up the stairs with a woman. He knew what they meant well enough and waited to hear the clicking of the door closing. He got the footage of the door closing with both of them. Still, it was not enough in his book.

Tagal reached the same floor as Burkhart but rather than trying to get footage past the door, Tagal decided that what he was going to do was go around the problem. Each room has a sort of balcony - probably used exclusively for sex acts but still, each room had a small one and that was what Tagal was aiming for right now.

So rather than enter the target's room, Tagal entered the room to the right, an empty room, and made his way over to the balcony. Taking a deep breath of the polluted Corellian air, Tagal strapped the recording device to his left hand before stepping out onto the balcony and checking to make sure no one was around.

There was a couple using their balcony a floor below but they were, as he had guessed, "busy using it" so they weren't paying him any attention. He took a moment to prepared himself before he made the jump - literally jumping to the balcony of the target's room. He made it by the skin of his teeth and he thanked his gods before he turned his recording lens inwards, between the almost-closed curtains.

    ... huh.

He was reasonably sure stretching like that should make the person bleed but he supposed not.

And he had the evidence on tape too!

The Morling watched as Tagal came up and met him on the same floor. It soon became clear he was planning on going to a parallel room to get some sort of angle on the target. This was not unlike breaching a room of a target though in this case they were using recorders instead of blasters.

While Tagal got into position there was a short bit of time for him to kill. The mandalorian hooked up a port scanner and sliced through the door controls. Instead of having the portal open fully he waited to hear some enthusiastic noises from inside. Hopefully that meant the occupant were destracted enough to not notice him sneakily open the door a crack and place the recorder on thee other side to capture what was going on in there.

Burkhart made sure that Tagal would not be seen based on his own angle. Minutes would go by before Burkhart pulled back from his voyeurism. The Alor signaled to his cohort to make his way back when he got the chance. Burkhart would go back to the roof for his departure, prefering to not be seen at all even if it was on the way out.
