Kovin Tark is a prominent figure on Onderon. He is a political figure and a local governor that is staunchly loyal to Emperor Elix. Iziz is one of the Republica’s most prized holdings, and it is people like Kovin Tark that help perpetuate Sith regulations and ideals on the city. Mandalorians, finally tired of being forced to constantly reel from attacks, are finally going to strike out first.

Clan Solus has sent Rud Solus and Leandros Solus to quickly gather on Iziz to attack a wealthy district to take out Kovin Tark. In addition to that, they will raid all the holdings of the other politicians that reside in the area, bringing back large amounts of credits to help supply and build up Clan Solus.

The district is full of wealthy mansions and some have guards poised at the entrances. The Mandalorians will have to use the element of surprise to launch the attack and ensure that Kovin can't be tipped off to escape.

    Theme

From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be rememberèd—
    We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he today that sheds his blood with me
    Shall be my brother.

    Finally.

The Mandalorian Uprising had begun in earnest. For Clan Solus, anyways. For too long had the proud Mandalorian people been oppressed by their Imperial overlords. Subjugation and repression of culture had a funny way of making a culture of already-stubborn warriors even more stubborn. Now, after centuries of using and abusing their martial abilities, the Sith would taste the cold steel they had wielded for so long.

While the others were hiding away, plotting fantastic operations and mighty attacks, Clan Solus kept to its tradition of reckless abandon. Onderon was the target, deep within Imperial space. This planet is one of the crown jewels of the boy-emperor, Elix. Today, the children of Kad Ha’rangir would deal a devastating blow to this planet’s capital.

Kovin Tark. A local governor. A man of wealth and prestige with friends in powerful places. Someone who enforced the rule of law. Someone who suppresses Mandalorian culture through his assistance to the Imperial effort. Clan Solus was going to send a message: that it was time for the Sith to feel what happens when you starve wolves for too long. This man would die by their hand today, and the coin of his peers would fund further attacks.

They had grown too stagnant in their centuries of supremacy. Protection would be light. After all, who would expect a Mandalorian strike this far from Mandalore? Nobody. That is precisely why it had to happen. Nobody was safe from their reach.

Leandros was in his full battle regalia, his armor a vengeful, matte gold. On top of a minor merchant’s home, he was safely hidden from a cursory view at the ground level. The entrance to the roof, a small door on the other side of the flat, open surface, was locked. Leandros had not come through it. Instead, he had used his jump boots to hop on a nearby metal scaffolding and climbed up to the house. The sun shone above in such a way to make it difficult for anyone to immediately spot them against the sky. The vantage offered considerable view of the district square and surrounding alleyways.

The square was relatively busy, but the guards of the mansions – however few there were – kept people away, forcing them in a crowded area. The chaos and commotion that would ensue would do a good job of keeping their actions concealed once the target was killed. They would need as much chaos as possible to make out with the loot.

Rud and Leandros had been stalking Kovin for some time now, shadowing him, undetected so far. Shriek-Hawk rifle in hand, Leandros peered through the variable scope, sighting their target. He was escorted by a pair of guards, though they looked rather bored and unaware. They likely had seen little combat. Good.

Leandros kept his eye on the man, but spoke up to his comrade. ”Ni ganar pabida calyarnr o'r ner jinr. Tsikador par a meye ar be vaulr. Ra gi'ah ne'waadas bic tion'tuur mhi bakya ku'ar teh mies ast'ehut, nijade ik'aad. He spoke in their mother tongue, his voice smooth, calm, though a fiery passion burbled just beneath the surface, barely contained for the sake of secrecy. ”Adiik be Kad Ha'rangir ganar olaror par gar, Kovin Tark,” he whispered beneath his breath, the crosshairs of his rifle centered on the man’s chest.

Leandros' partner knelt beside him in his red and black armor -the clan colors for Solus- and was making sure the Grapple Line tech function of his Beskar'gam was placed correctly. You never knew when you did it yourself... "Distance is about one-hundred meters," Rud guessed in that serious tone of voice that was also a bit depressing. Truthfully, he would've spoken against these crazy warlike actions if he'd been asked. Raz hadn't asked. "Flight time of the bolt is three seconds, so once you pull the trigger we have to move."

He was carrying an extra two frag grenades next to his default gear and feeling a bit anxious about what they were about to unleash. Onderon was filled with strong warriors going back to before their stronghold cities, yet they seemed suspiciously absent as they watched the crowds. Had these people been lulled to sleep just like he had been? Enjoying peace and abandoning warrior culture for... the chance to raise children in peace. Frack Are they about to give the Onderonians their Medriaas?

Rud was looking at the crowd standing on the square all huddled up, being clearly the wealthy separated by thick stone walls from the poor. Useless in a fight, that's why the lazy guards were effective. They were a good bit closer to their position than their target. If they were lucky the sight of the dead Kovin would drive the herd of rich people over to them and make for easy robbing. Finished with observing the scene -and seeing no real threats to their plan- Rud turned to Leandros, "Kill him on my mark."

A foul, incurable disease was beginning to spread throughout the revered Sith Empire. Tainted by cruel, rebellious propaganda, millions of Imperial citizens were contracting an incurable and painful sickness whose only treatment was complete and total eradication. It was a specter, a ghost, an apparition of the past. It was a reminder of past grievances and broken promises. It was cancerous, and it would have to be annihilated.

On the planet of Onderon, her official title was "Imperial Investigator", but the Sith Lord she served preferred to call her an angel of mercy instead. Aria did not enjoy the callous duty of purging sedition, but it was the one thing, the only thing she could possibly do. In the end, it was never her decision of where to go, who to see, or who to kill. Her only choice was to serve, and serve she would.

Iziz was primitive, distant, and unimportant to the overall war effort. Although built to keep infernal beasts at bay, Iziz's towering walls instead allowed a melting pot for treason to form and allowed open wounds to fester. Regardless, the people of the city seemed happy enough, despite the rule of an Imperial Governor rather than that of the more traditional Onderon Monarchy. Her decision to appear in one of its wealthiest districts that day, the day of one Governor Tark's largest fundraisers, was not by pure chance. Imperial Intelligence was working on reliable data which stated that an assassination attempt was imminent, but with so many people in the square, it was difficult to tell who was sick.

So she sat, waiting and watching. It was not her duty to prevent the assassination, only to catch the people who perpetrated it.

One does not simply go to a enemy world without a plan. Onderon was near the Old empire and a wealthy planet. Making it a good target to observe, for now he wasn't so bold as to rage a battle in the heart of a city of his enemies just yet. No he needed patience and that was what he got in his ally. A Imperial agent who for some reason never spoke once during their time. Which was just fine he wasn't one to have a real conversation anyway. In his Sith marauder gear it was easy for him to slip into this place as despite being in a civil war the armor of the two Sith hadn't changed. So Jedrek was able to pass off as one of the false Sith pretty easily.

With his cloak covering most of his body and his hood over his head he sat down on a building just outside the wealthy district. A hotel that used the beauty of the district just next door to attract customers. They were also just next to another building, a manor from the looks of things within the district so it would allow them to jump if they needed to run after or away from something. For now both his hands were on his lightsaber keeping them turned off until it was necessary. He had his pistol on his hip with three extra ammo clips ready to go if he needed to shoot at something.

But that was why he had the agent with him his actual eyes and person doing most of the observation he simply kept his eyes open and the Force ready to assist him if necessary. Not that he was expecting any problems to happen while he was here. Just keeping a eyes on thing's. Who knows maybe he would get a chance to get some action in later. For now he watched, he saw some people jumping roof tops but they were quiet far away like 200 yards away or so. But at least that was something interesting. Not that he would bother doing anything about it unless his agent told him to.

"Agent see that rooftop what do you see?" Jedrek figured the woman already knew of it but he still wanted to make sure he got some sort of knowledge before his boredom kicked him forcing him to go and check it out.

On this rooftop though only they were here, with only the building in front of them having the height to get onto it unless you used the emergency stairs. But that required a key pass to get though not something anyone could simply get. Plus it was somewhat reinforced so should make a loud sound for it to break down, at least giving them two a warning of danger.

If Jedrek ever asked why she never spoke, Jacki had her hands to answer. It would be an easy query to handle, it would just take one finger in particular. That he had no idea that she was mute after all this time was a testament to the arrogance that The Force can give. Or perhaps he was merely inattentive. Both of these traits would be lovely to work with on their sensitive reconnaisaince mission.

While the agent had no I'll will against the Sith in general she found their alliance with the Empire to be odd bedfellows. Like Mandolorians their pride was both their greatest strength and greatest weakness. Passion was the essence of chaos and for a girl who liked things orderly this did not seem like the best pairing. That being said all she could do to remedy this situation was follow her orders to the letter.

Dispatched from High Command on rumors of sedition and the targeting of influential figures, Jacki was prepared for the worst. While this imperial territory was no friend of the true Empire, it was better to have the devaronian they knew than not.

Both Imperial fragments had a laundry list of enemies, but considering the locality it might be Wookies, Mandolorians, or even homegrown terrorism. Whatever the case it was their order to observe and report. In this valley between peaks of conflict, information was the light that guides their way. While not to overstate the irony, those who worked in the shadows gave the Empire its brightest stars. Jacki would live up to that charge.

While not noticing her missing voice, Jedrek seemed to have knack for picking up glints in the harsh sunlight. Wearing her scout armor so as to blend in with the locals who would merely assume her to be a bounty hunter, the agent made use of its magnifier. While the sunlight prevented her from seeing the greater details the golden etching and craftsmanship could hardly be mistaken for anything else.

Readjusting her scope, the agent looked to the Sith and held up her hands. Curling them upon eachother she formed the crude T-Visor to represent the Mandolorians and then held up two fingers. Even one without skill in sign language could pick up that simple message.

While they had no order to engage, Jacki instinctively checked her weapons. Not drawing them out to bring and suspicion on herself, she merely paraded her fingers over them. Cool metal bit into her senses and the familiar pressure of these killing machines subdued her nerves.

Looking to Jedrek she motioned to her weapons then looked to him inquisitively. Better the devaronian you know, but the only good enemy was a dead one.

Keeping his head down, Toland stood with his hood up on the fringe of the crowd. An Onderonian supporter of the Rebel cause had recently packed up and headed for the Outer Rim, but had left behind a portion of his wealth for the Dxun cell to make use of. Vult's directive was simple: go in, grab the package, and get out. But nothing was ever as easy as it sounded on paper, and this was no exception. The square was filled with civilians, and though there were not as many Imperial guards as he initially suspected, there were just enough to keep Toland alert for trouble. Besides that, something in his gut told him something was off, and it made him uneasy. He'd had this feeling in the past, usually moments before a mortar landed or a shot flew by where his head used to be. Whether luck or something else entirely, it was rarely ever wrong.

Readjusting the strap of his rifle that was slung on his back underneath his cloak, Toland kept a low profile near a group of civilians having a smoke out front a minor merchant's home. Until the moment he was looking for revealed itself, he stayed alert and at the ready.

Rud had noticed the Sith in the crowd, but the mere presence of one would not derail the assassination that was about to unfold. Unclipping one of the frag grenades, an act so small that given their position on a rooftop no one within ten meters could possibly make out, Rud lopped it towards the crowd and counted to two. The grenade was so small that in the sun it would be extremely hard to spot in time to prevent it from detonating, especially from a distance. "Shoot now," he told Leandros just before the frag grenade would explode just above the crowd of rich Onderonians, causing a bloodbath and sheer panic. Kovin and his guards were clearly focused on the explosion and while he turned his head to look at the horrible scene he froze in shock. He would never see it coming.

No doubt many people heard the explosion and ensuing panic and like Kovin froze to in their tracks. Not the culprits, though. Rud knew that their position would be suspect once Leandros' blaster bolt got noticed and he immediately backed away into cover and towards the back of the building where he used his grapple line to control his descent down and left it hanging for Leandros to follow in down the same line.

Bringing his rifle to his shoulder, the Mandalorian opened a commlink. "Badger One," (@Sreeya) he scanned his surroundings for hostiles, but the area behind the house seemed clear. The square wasn't in his sight now, the building between him and the chaos, so he knew he had a short breather. "This is Badger Three, disrupting in progress." Now, he had seen a Sith out there and he was anxious to repay her for Medriaas.

Leandros grunted in affirmation to Rud and adjusted the variable zoom of his sights to their maximum range, keeping the reticle posted on Kovin’s chest. It was such an impersonal thing, to snipe a man from distance. A single squeeze of the trigger, and in a few moments the man would breathe his last. There would be no glorious melee, no blood spilled in the name of Kad Ha’rangir, no seeing the governor gasp for air as he dealt the final blow. This was not the day for reckless carnage. They needed corpses, but not at the cost of their own lives. Kad Ha’rangir did not demand senseless, wanton violence. He needed his warriors alive. That meant playing it safe.

Besides, there would be plenty of chaos and commotion in the next few seconds.

Rud threw his grenade into the crowd with cold, calculated precision. Leandros counted, holding until just the right moment. When the time was right, he squeezed the trigger once, letting loose a single bolt towards his foe. He fired before the grenade went off, giving his bolt time to travel.

Shock and awe. That was how they did things.

The sudden detonation surprised those not in the casualty-producing zone, horrifying them and sending them into a panic. Kovin, caught completely unawares by the surprise attack, took several moments to process what had happened in the square. This hesitation – and the hesitation of his guards - caused him to be shot square in the chest, searing through his unprotected vital organs and killing him. He dropped, hitting the ground before his guards could catch him. The only evidence of his death was a scorching, smoking hole in his body. His face was frozen in abject horror.

Mangled bodies littered a five-meter kill radius where the grenade went off, and everywhere within fifteen meters was riddled with shrapnel. Mothers, fathers, children, and guards. “Innocents” and the guilty alike; none were spared from the murder. Leandros knew there were no innocents in that crowd. All of those wealthy citizens contributed in some way to the Imperial cause. That was enough for him. Some survivors, their flesh torn to ribbons, skin burned, and bodies mutilated, limped away. Others simply sat there, the horror and shock of the event paralyzing them. This was an act of violence none of them had ever experienced. This was a mere fragment of what Leandros’ people felt on Medriaas.

Watching just long enough to ensure his target had been killed, Leandros rose from his spot and made haste to catch up to Rud. Now that they had succeeded in their assassination, they had pillaging to do. He kept to cover and dashed over to the waiting grapple line, descending rapidly. He hit the ground heavily, looking around the area. There was no business behind the house; most of the chaos could be heard in the direction of the square. At the ground level now, the surrounding mansions obscured them from above.

Leandros looked at his clansman, then jerked a thumb down the alleyway towards the square. That was where the wealth was. ”Temya'r jidte, vod! Mhi slanar vaii ku'r cuyir hra'ne.” He turned the corner down a long, empty alley measuring at about 70 meters. He could see the square at the end of the 70 meters and the shapes of people panicking. Thirty meters beyond the entrance to the square was Kovin Tark's corpse, trampled by the crowd. His guards had fled. At about 30 meters, the alley split off into a four-way intersection. Surrounding them was a dense network of buildings, all ripe for looting. Their windows were anywhere from three to eight meters up, depending on the opulence of the home. He kept his rifle readied for any opposition that met them.

Something was not right, something was very wrong.

The longer Governor Tark spoke, the more Aria began to grow anxious. Despite her tailing the beloved leader for many days, it was there in there in the square that an uneasy feeling of dread was beginning to fall upon her. The sun's glare made it difficult to make out anything or anyone past the growing crowd in front of her, and the longer she sat, the more it seemed as though the threat wasn't going to come from within the square, but outside the square.

It was sudden and it came without warning. The Acolyte collapsed to her knees, a splitting headache ruptured across her skull. It felt as though a thousand daggers were being thrust into her head, and in the distance, she made out the sounds of explosions. It was all too fast, and she felt the shrapnel pierce her body long before she sensed the plasma bolt being fired.

Through the screams, Aria could make out two simple facts: Governor Tark was dead, and she was crippled beyond all belief. Blood poured from her arms and legs, but instead of dying on the ground like a coward, she rose like a phoenix from the ashes. The color of her crimson blade shined brightly through the mist of blood and dust, guiding her to an alley nearby and away from immediate danger..

What a surprising day this seems to be becoming. So far as he watched he couldn't really make out to much but he was definitely sure these people who his partner described to be mandalorian's to be involved in the recent explosion. They were a bunch of warriors who hated the Empire plus had a culture perfectly fine in being such giant monsters. Because not even Jedrek could see why a large explosion was needed in the middle of a street filled with innocent people. It was very barbaric.

Still if this was going to turn into a battle field they would need to follow the people that caused the commotion in the first place. Looking over to his partner Jedrek didn't think she had any jump boots to help her go across building's so channeling the Force to his legs the Sith figured he would provide some assistance.

"I'm sure you will kick my ass later for this." Grabbing her princess style without much thought he would jump the edge of the building they were in to the next.

He didn't want to wait around to much so figured best to get going, thankfully the figures where showing their back towards them, as it seemed they were heading to another location now. Probably their actual target while they caused a commotion here, at least that is what made sense in his head.

Looking to the woman who seemed to have a problem speaking Jedrek needed a quick way to have some sort of communication with her if they got separated. Since it would be a issue if they did and got ambushed.

"Listen in case something goes wrong beep your communicator twice for trouble and three times if all clear. Lets stay close to each other but follow wherever those Mandalorian's went. Probably something important I imagine." Jedrek would wait for her response but whatever it was he would walk towards the edge of the building ready to either jump across or down to follow the Mandalorian's.

Right now there was a chase, and the prize was whatever those Mandalorian's where after. And that was something Jedrek very much wanted. Turning his lightsaber back off he kept both of them in his hands though. Just in case there was any more trouble that started. Hopefully his partner had also seen where they went so they could follow them.

Honor. It was a classic concept for a galaxy that had long outgrown it. Millennia could pass between slights and those who found honor in their hearts would seek reprisal. Funny how revenge so often forgot the original perpetrators, to instead target children, women, all upstanding citizens not just of an Empire but of their respective races and the galaxy itself. Jacki was no idealist, she knew the hard decision had to be made. It's why when she learned of what happened on Medriaas, she was the only agent in training in her class to get high marks on her assigned report. Not only was her argument well researched and articulate, it happened to be the only one that argued for the action and that had she been in command she would have gone further.

While some might say that made the agent quite the hypocrite she felt the opposite. Honor commanded an adherence to a moral code in battle. Jacki and the Empire at large merely acknowledged that this could not be tenable. Nothing in war was moral. Ships carrying a maternity ward would be destroyed to silence a single dissenter, trade lanes would be frozen depriving meals to billions to kill off a cancerous cry to freedom, and rebellion....rebellion would be dealt with swiftly and without mercy. This was a galaxy that did not need honor. It needed order and order came wearing a silken glove, but the fist always lay beneath. It was time for that fist to fall.

Watching the blast through her helm, the agent instinctively checked the sling with her rifle. Firing upon the perpetrators accomplished nothing. They had already achieved their mission in sowing chaos and more than likely killing their target had they happened to be within 15 feet of that blast. Noting this, the agent felt somewhat clipped in the wings until Jedrek came to her aid.

While his method of conveyance wasn't to her usual standards, the imperial asset could forgive him as what he did was for the good of the mission. No doubt everyone around here could argue that the end justified the means. All those except the ones dying as they choked on their own blood.

As Jedrek spoke to her, the agent's full attention was upon him. Attention to detail, focus, commitment, these were the pillars of a good operator and she would live up to these ideals or die due to their lack. Noting his instruction she flashed the fairly universal OK sign. As the Sith turned to jump off she collected herself and figured what she might be able to do in this situation. Figuring he had the advantage of leaping tall buildings, she would do her work on the ground.

Descending a service ladder she found the area had been quickly abandoned even by many of the guards stationed their. Not wishing to bring suspicion upon herself as she was armed and unmarked with any Imperial loyalty display, the agent kept her weapon holstered but ready to pull out when needed. Sticking to the sides of buildings, she headed in the direction of something she spotted before being whisked off, a shimmer off the side of the building the warriors were on.

Keeping low she did her best to run in a confused manner to appear like any other person effected by the blast. Taking a few missteps for appearances, she otherwise headed to the cover beneath the house where the attack originated. She would begin to look around for clues as she went, though rubble, panic, and keeping up appearances of fear and panic of her own made it slow going. She did not arrive at the house she is still in the square.

Leandros relished the distant screaming. The mayhem and chaos had pleased Kad Ha’rangir. The destroyer would surely take note of his actions today and, despite the impersonal nature of the act, afford him some degree of favor. Leandros would have to offer libations later on, when they were safe and had succeeded in the second half of their mission. Clan Solus would benefit greatly from this day, indeed! Their god would shower them in blessings.

Still, there was work to be done. Leandros quickly looked around the area and, deciding that there was no point in walking all the way to the end of the intersection to loot one home, figured the best thing would be to go down house by house, pillaging until they were laden with packs of coin and valuables. He turned his head to look at Rud, saying, ”O'r olar!”

He ran up to the door, rifle raised, and opened it. Inside, a man in an opulent bathrobe stood at the top of a flight of stairs, staring in abject horror at the intruders. Leandros, without skipping a beat, fired a single shot at the man, hitting him in the chest. He tumbled down the stairs, landing in a crumpled heap at the bottom. His open flesh sizzled gently as it cooled down. Pulling out a sack, Leandros began shoveling in anything of value.

He kept one hand on his rifle at all times, ready for any intruders. While his clansman did whatever he planned on doing with the loot, Leandros ran upstairs to search for some kind of credit stash and valuable-looking family heirlooms. Something that the clan could sell and make a pretty penny on. He was out for the shinies. He needed whatever was the most expensive-looking thing he could find. Gods, he felt like a carrion scavenger. He found a door in the master bedroom with a fairly robust lock, and, figuring it had something expensive inside, set about getting it open.

Toland's gut feeling proved right once again as an explosion went off somewhere in the crowd only seconds before a single blaster shot streaked through the air from the roof of the building he stood by, striking down a lavishly-dressed man in the distance. This wasn't just a terrorist attack; it was a coordinated offensive, wrought by someone who had a grudge against the Empire. While Toland could not condone wanton violence against innocent citizens, he harboured no love for Imperials either. Hearing footsteps overhead, Vult could also make out faint speech in another language. Though he did not know how to speak it himself, his years of quelling dissent at the border allowed him to identify it as Mando'a immediately. ⋮⋮ Mandalorians...so they finally strike, ⋮⋮ he mulled as he pressed himself against the wall of the merchant's house, letting panicking citizens run by. Looking out into the square, two things caught his eye: first, a figure leaping from rooftop to rooftop without the aid of a jetpack or jumpers. Only a Sith could make that kind of leap safely. But the second thing he noticed was a black-robed figure limping from the crowd towards the alley on Toland's right, blood gushing from multiple wounds. Two Sith in the area. While the first one was quite far off still, the second he could deal with right away.

As the severely wounded Sith stepped into the alleyway, Toland drew his vibroblade in his left hand and his DH-7 in his right, firing three stun bolts: one into her lower back, upper back, and head. He held his vibroblade up defensively across his midsection in case the Sith somehow managed to evade and counterattack.

Opulent housing and shadow-giving trees covered both Mandalorians as they went to the neighboring house and Leandros kicked the door in. As the house owner fell down the stairs Rud moved ahead to clear the ground level, closing curtains as he went in a logical reaction to the chaos outside. There was no one else around, so he took a bag of his own and decided to focus on technology. Slinging the rifle to his back, he took his blaster pistol in his right hand because of the relatively small space and reaction time of cqc and began looting with his left.

Ultra-modern datapads, home-cinema sets and wait, was that a digital key? "Badger Fletcher, I think I found something downstairs-" he said over the helmet comm with his fellow Mandalorian. It didn't take him long to spot a suspiciously large painting that didn't quite fit the interior style of decorating (Yes, Rud is a man of taste). Removing the painting from the wall with a hard backhanded gesture revealed a safe behind it and Rud was already holding the key. "Jackpot."

With the key it took only a few seconds before the safe spun open and revealed a whole lot of valuables, many of which Rud immediately stuffed into his bag until it was heavy enough to contain good loot, but not too heavy to become cumbersome in their escape. "Fill up and let's go," he'd tell Leandros once the latter arrived downstairs, suddenly anxious, Rud knew they had only been inside for one and the grenade had detonated only two minutes ago. Not even Onderon police could arrive in time if they exfilled now. A good tactical mind was always expecting the worst, though.

The Sith jumped from the roof using the Force to help him roll and dispelling the energy he picked up when falling. He rather not break a knee for simple looks. Feeling though the Force the Sith detected another dark side user. Which could mean a potential ally while he was on the world. It wasn't like they would know if he was a member of the Old Sith empire just by looking at him. Sith armor was universal among both faction's and his lightsabers shine just as red as theirs. So running he got onto his comm link to his partner who he knew couldn't speak.

"I sense a fellow Sith should be near the explosion." Jedrek would end the transmission and began running, empowered by the Force hoping to get to his target without getting attacked from behind.

Cutting though the crowd the Sith was faster then most non-force users could hope, and with his twin lightsabers in his hand's not many got in his way. Though he was silent in his approach and not making noise that would draw attention towards him. As he would run towards the spot where he felt the other Sith, Jedrek would begin to slow down not wising to spook the Sith. As he slowed he would arrive eventually to the alley, the scene before him confused him for just a second but as he was behind a man with a cloak on and a weapon in hand he was sure this person was involved somehow.

He was to late to respond to the bolts fired so he would just have to hope his fellow Sith was prepared. But for now Jedrek had a target to get to, activating both blades Jedrek would stand on the other side of the street to the entrance of the alley, creating a 30 foot distance between the two. It allowed for Jedrek to prepare for a fight forming a X with his two blades. Right now he was sure the agent would be following close by, and would provide some fire once the fight started.

"I can assume you are Mandalorian?" Jedrek knew the people that caused the commotion were Mandalorian from what his partner said, and this man seemed to lack that armor.

He was sure there were more but for now he simply waited. Keeping his eye on his opponent while many of the people had fled the scene due to the explosion and now the Sith igniting his blades. Whoever this man was they weren't going to be having a good day that he promised to himself.

This was chaos. This is everything Jacki and the Empire stood against. Mostly cleared of the living, Jacki saw proof of the old adage, only the dead have seen the end of war. Husks sapped of the seven pounds between life and death these well off people were quite poorly off now. Death was the great equalizer and so the agent who walked over those who saw themselves her master was queen. It was a feeling as hollow as the dead.

Jacki heard the click of Jedrek'a comm. As he explained his otherworldly sense of another darksider the agent suddenly felt exposed. A level playing field against a force user was certain death. All agents had been trained that if fighting a user of the force their greatest weaknesses were the high ground and underestimating their power. With that in mind Jacki was about to head to another ladder when she heard shots.

Despite the chaos there hadn't been any response from Republica security forces. As those stationed here had fled that led to a lack of a fire fight. With that context, Jacki's keen sense of hearing attuned quickly to the stunbolts fired. Instantly bringing her Javelin to the ready and looking to the source, the agent used the magnifier on the weapon to bring the perpetrator into view. It seemed Jedrek had a similar idea as he headed to the alley entrance from her left side.

While she was not in an ideal position for this maneuver being in a fairly open and flat area that was the city square, the agent had to act and acting in less than ideal conditions was merely part of the job. Hitting the deck with her bulky weapon and kicking out the bipod to provide much needed stability for accuracy the agent sent a two beeps to Jedrek's comm. She figured firing in his general direction with an automatic weapon constituted trouble, but he was a big boy who could take care of himself.

With that warning out of the way and the man who fired those stun bolts as her target. According to her scope he was 50 meters away. Aiming quickly, Jacki let loose a slew of nine bolts in three round automatic bursts. Trigger discipline was key. All it took was a hair's breath of pressure to get out a deadly burst at any foe. Aiming the first burst for the mans legs, the second for his back and the third slightly to the right of him to try and cut off a dodging point and force his footing to at least some closer to her more melee focused ally.

With that done the agent prepared to stand and gather her gear after seeing the results of their attack.

The pain was excruciating; every step she took felt like another blaster bolt through her chest. She was frantically tapping at the comm link on her collar, but despite her repeated cries for help, there was no response. It seemed as though the entire communications network had been brought to its knees by the work of some barbaric force. They were all traitors, and it was her duty to eradicate all signs of sedition, but now, with her robes stained red and blood seeping from her left leg, it was proving beyond difficult to move onward and put an end to the situation before it grew any worse.

Another blaster bolt erupted from nearby, but this time it was difficult to tell if it was meant for her or any of the civilians who were fleeing in panic. Whatever the group's goals were, it seemed as though they did not end with the newly deceased Governor Tark. Not only was rupturing communications unnecessary, but the needless bloodshed told Aria that this was not meant to be an assassination; it was meant to prove a twisted point.

While she waited for the dust to settle, visuals to improve, and help to arrive, the bleeding in her leg seemed to stop, but because the wounds were still very fresh and shards of metal were deeply in-bedded within her, it was still very painful. The Acolyte let her soldiers slump as she uneasily leaned on the side of the building, but then quickly pushed away as a pair of heavy footsteps thundered on the street behind her. It was too late though, like the grenade before, she felt the pain long before she garnered a moment to realize what was happening. As she put her left knee to ground and placed her hands on the floor, an intense and sharp pain cascaded through her entire lower back and two other shots flew over her head. For a moment, Aria began to think that her sudden and meaningless life was nearing its end, but the aggressive tone of someone nearby and the familiar sound of a lightsaber soothed her worried thoughts.

Though two of Toland's stun shots missed, one hit true into her back — and that was all he needed. As she slumped to the ground, Toland sheathed his weapons as he simultaneously looked behind him to see the other Sith approaching the entrance of the alleyway with his sabers drawn. Not waiting for the black-robed Sith to even fully approach and begin speaking, Toland instantly bolted away from him. Moving forward a couple meters and hearing the agent open fire, he ducked left into the house that the Mandalorians had entered earlier. Peeking out from cover, Vult instinctively reached out, attempting to use the Force to pull the Sith towards him. While the first three bolts would have whizzed by and missed, Toland’s maneuver would place Jedrek in direct line of fire of the light repeater's remaining six bolts.

Leandros cracked open the locked door, only to be faced with a small room with some weapons – nothing too valuable. If the owner of this home had only had his weapon on him… Well, he still would have died, but he would have died with a weapon in his hand, like a true warrior should. With a listless shrug of his shoulder, he ran out of the room back to the main foyer just in time to hear three shots ring out just outside of their home. Ever the curious badger, Leandros hustled over to a second-floor window to look outside, rifle at the ready. He watched an unknown man fire several shots – on stun, evidently – into the back of a robed woman with a… Lightsaber. Sith.

    Their position was compromised.

Leandros readied his weapons, grabbing one of his frag grenades from its pouch for the area denial effect and chaos it would induce. He shouted to his companion from indoors, ”Darjetii eso oi! Nakeja etid! Val enteyor va shekemir mhi!”

As the woman dropped, clearly unable to continue to fight due to the battered, bloody, and shot state she was in, another figure appeared down the alley, brandishing two lit lightsabers. More Sith. Just beyond him, Leandros watched a figure (@BlackJack) hustle to the edge of the square, drop to the prone, and set up a weapon on a bipod. While this occurred, Leandros had been prepping a frag grenade for the saber-wielding Sith outside. As the prone figure began their volley – clearly without regard for the safety of the Sith - Leandros threw the grenade. He had cooked it just long enough so that it ought to explode just above the Sith (@Richie B.), peppering the area with shrapnel and concussive force. With a blast radius of ten meters, only the Sith brandishing his sabers was in danger. As soon as he let the grenade loose from his hand, he was pulling his rifle up to his shoulder for a snap shot of three bolts as fast as the weapon would allow, all aimed at the Sith he threw a grenade at. Before his three shots, Leandros ducked completely out of view of the prone figure in the square, moving back a half-pace from the edge of the window. Due to the angle he was at in the window from which he was attacking the Sith, the prone figure in the square likely had little in the way of physically seeing him. Better safe than sorry.

With bolts coming from above and behind the Sith, as well as a frag grenade overhead, Leandros felt it in his heart of hearts that this particularly bold Sith was about to get absolutely tenderized.

He hoped his comrade, Rud, would follow suit and fire at the Sith, guaranteeing that he would have no way of avoiding the sheer number of attacks headed his way. With the prone figure so close, their bolts would take just over a second to reach the Sith. Leandros’ own bolts would arrive in nearly a quarter of a second, meaning that this Sith would have to have absolutely preternatural reflexes or the blessings of a god to avoid both series of attacks, not even including the grenade that would explode overhead.

Blood would continue to flow! Glory to the gods!
