Hask was leaning against the ramp of the Dust Devil on Dantooine, paging around on his datapad. He had gotten his hands on a really easy job from Czerka Corp. that paid very well. The irony of it wasn't lost on him. For years he had been the annoying thorn in their side, stealing their stuff, destroying their property and killing their troops. All without getting paid one credit. Now they were paying him top money to do exactly what he had been doing all this time. But he stifled his laughter and agreed to it. Now here he was.

They had done a major update on their security systems for their base on Dantooine. And now to see how good they were, they needed people to break into it. Hask was not built to be sneaky, but he could be if the occasion calls for it. And today it seemed the occasion called for it.

He had invited Arial along as well, seeing as she is a lot better at these things than him. His eyes scanned the sky around the landing pad for any sign of the Hurricane. He hoped that his old ship was still in one piece...

"Ma'am, closing in on location." A crewmember stated, letting Arial know that her mission was going to start soon. "Excellent." She replied, as she slide her helmet on over her head, letting the clamps lock into place. She was rather enjoying the new armor she had purchased, almost reminded her of her operator equipment from so long ago. She watched from her chair as they breached through the atmosphere, making their way to the meet up point with Hask. She almost couldn't believe the message when he had sent it, Czerka wanted them to test their security? And they were paying them for breaking in? That was almost hysterical, if only they knew the truth, which of course they wouldn't be privy to such things.

As the ship settled down, no doubt kicking up a great degree of dust and dirt, Arial marched down the ramp, blaster strapped to her hip, rifle stowed behind her back, as she showcased her new combat armor for her oldest living friend. "Hask, I'm not going to lie, I thought you were screwing with me when I got your message." She smirked, her face being revealed as her helmet have a 'pop' sound and slid upwards, revealing her face. She would give him a quick hug, before showing that his ship was still in one piece; might have even had a fresh paint job as well. "So, fill me in, what are these idiots asking for this time?" She asked, pulling a datapad off of her right hip holster, as she would take notes of what exactly they were doing.

Hask smiled when he saw Arial approach with some new armour. "I wish I was, don't worry!" he admitted with a laugh. She came in to hug him and he gladly returned it. "I got to admit, I'm surprised the Hurricane is still in one piece." he teased. "Oh, and the armour looks good." he continued, just to add some insult to injury.

"They installed some new security measures in their outpost. Apparently they've got some interesting stuff going on and don't want people getting to it. So they need people to test the new system out. Don't worry, it's all non-lethal. They seem curious over why someone would be trying to break in." he explained to her, gesturing for her to follow. "So all we have to do is see how far we can get, then get paid doing that." he finished, stopping in front of the building.

He gave her a smirk as he looked at her. "So, agent...since you're the more covert one between the two of us, where should you say we must breach? Air vent? Window? Front door? Let's hear it." he asked her, folding his arms over his chest.

Arial gave Hask a small glare through the opening in her helmet, as she slugged the Sith in the shoulder; not hard, just a playful jab, she didn't want to shatter his collarbone. "I'm amazed your still alive without me around to save your red ass." She shot back, gesturing for him to keep it going. She missed little moments like this, they needed to work together more often.

She made a few notes on her datapad, finding it hilarious that Czerka was paying them for breaking into their own lab. "What happens if we get to the end? Do we get a reward?" She mused, before putting the device away. She looked to the building, sliding her helmet back into place with a 'hiss' "Don't be so cliche Hask. Vents are for the holofilms. I'd suggest going through the window. Going through the front is just suicidal." Arial spoke, her voice slightly distorted from her helmet. "Yea, window is the best way to go." Arial muttered, knowing there was a whole torrent of issues about going through the windows. "Haak, make yourself useful and keep inside. Tell me what you see." She said, getting her grapple gun out. As much as she was amused about breaking into Czerka, this most likely wasn't going to be a cakewalk, especially if Czerka wanted their place protected.

"The end? We get an extra reward. Some Czerka gear or stuff like that. Given the quality of their items, I won't be turning down that chance." he elaborated on her question. Her comment on the vents made him raise an eyebrow. "Well I hope you're right, because I doubt I'll be able to fit in those vents." he commented plainly.

She finally settled on the windows. Hask responded by cracking his neck and rolling his shoulders. "On it." he said and leapt up on an elevation to reach the window. He reached to peer in but stopped immediately. On the windows were sensors. He slowly exhaled and pulled his hands away from the sensors. After studying it he figured out how the system worked. He raised a hand and focused the Force. After a few seconds the faint red light hidden in the window turned off as it shorted out. What's more, the trick switched off the motion sensors in the room as well and the window unlocked. "Got it. We're clear for entry. Nothing on the other side." he explained to her and turned to wait for Arial to join him. "Need a lift or are you good?" he asked her.

Arial watched as Hask leaped up and managed to disarm the sensors, which frankly surprised her; though, given his physique it shouldn't have been too much of a surprise. She waited a moment, expecting hear the sounds of alarms or sensors going off, but it seemed he had succeeded it shutting it off. Needless to say she was pleasantly surprised. "Nicely done Hask. I think I can make it though." She stated, taking a few steps back, before running and jumping up towards the window. She grabbed the sides, pulling herself up along side Hask, as the pair were off to the right foot for a break in. "You should have given the academy a shot. You might have made for a good spec ops operative." She complimented, as she carefully opened the window and looked about. She checked the corners of the rooms for sensors, and found on in particular that could be an issue; however the lights on it indicated it was deactivated. "Very nicely done." Arial muttered, as she lowered herself into the room. There were two sets of doors in the room, and one plug in for both of them.

She withdrew her datapad as she moved towards one of the doors, and plugged herself in. Inputting several commands, she watched with a degree of interest as the commands filtered in, but quickly became alarmed as one of the inputs was rejected. Arial threw in another input instead, rerouting the inital response, giving herself enough time to stop an alarm from sounding, but the security system soon kicked her out of the system; she failed to pull up a map of the place, but at least she had managed to open the two doors, though her datapad would be largely ineffective for the rest of the break in. The door gave a 'thunk' as it was unlocked, and she recollected her datapad. "Well damn, they stepped up their game. Datapad is totally locked up. I'll have to manually bypass the locks now." She muttered, looking back to Hask. "What does your instinct say we do next?" She asked, having to rely on his force insight to lead the way.

It didn't take long for her to join him, though her compliment made him laugh. "Me? An agent? I'm way too clumsy for that." he joked, following her into the building. Inside she got to work, though he could tell she was having trouble. At least she succeeded and got the doors open. Now the tricky part came in...

"Instincts says we're idiot. Schematics say up ahead is the harder part. They have stun blasters set up to knock trespassers out. So we need to be real careful." he explained softly to her. He smirked. "At least you're not the only one with fancy gadgets." he teased and moved on through the doors.

Up ahead was a long hallway They needed to get through. It practically screamed 'ambush', but they had to move through it. What's more, there had to be a trigger somewhere for it. A trigger...and an access panel. After watching his step for any triggers he was in the hallway. He carefully inspected the wall tiles and found the tiniest seam in the metallic wall. He pressed it and the panel opened to expose the access panel. He took out a port scanner and plugged in. After a good long while the device beeped and a series of mechanical sounds rang through the air. The turrets had shut down in their hidden spots. What's more, a door in the hallway unlocked and opened up as well, giving them a means to bypass a few harder security measures. Not much, but it did make things slightly easier.

He flashed her a grin and nodded for her to follow. "Let's move." he said softly and casually walked through the hallway. He didn't care whenever there was a metallic click under his feet, since the systems were all shut down.

Arial stepped aside as her friend went to work. "You know just because you're an agent doesn't mean you need to wear skin tight suits like I used to. You could have been part of the assault teams." She clarified, but went silent as he plugged into the access port, letting him work in peace.

To her great surprise, he managed to deactivate the systems, opening the door and not setting any alarms off in the process. Clearly he wasn't all brawn, but she had already seen that wasn't all he was about. "We're talking shop after this is done." She commented, as Arial took lead now, giving the room a sweep with her keen eye, but found nothing that seemed to be a concern. Very impressive. She gave Hask a thumbs up, before moving towards the amorous blast door up ahead, determined to open it one way or another. It was a rather intimidating looking door, but all doors had their way of opening one way or another. She drew a vibroknife and pried the access panel off, then went to work with the interworkings. She laughed as she found it was a mess of wires, but what was more hysterical was that they had linked all their security systems into one subsystem; the door controls. Arial deactivated the system, manually switching the door open, as the security system was rendered useless by her skilled bypassing of the systems. "Well, I'll give Czerka this, they put up a good front." The blast door rolled open, as the pair where now getting to the heart of the facility.

Arial took point and led them to the new area that was blocked off by another door. Instead of going with an electronic method she instead went to work on manually disabling the locks. Hask stared with raised eyebrows as she worked on the jumble of cables. She made quick work of the system and also managed to disabled the automated systems beyond the door.

They continued on, venturing deeper into the facility. They were only a few twists and turns away from getting to their destination. They ventured into a hallway that seemed completely clear...but accidentally tripped a ray-shield system that caught both of them. What's worse, a timing system linked to the shield activation started counting down. If the time ran out, the alarms would all trigger. And there wasn't much time.

Hask scrammed, looking for a way to disable or bypass the system, but there wasn't any way. Well, not any normal way. "Oh, kriff it." he mumbled as he drew a lightsaber and ignited it straight through the projector, stopping the timer just in time and freeing them from the ray-shield. "Almost there." he commented as he walked on.

As the two moved into the facility, they had gotten rather relaxed in their little adventure, something Arial was sure to check that behavior after this newest run in. As the ray shield clamped down around the pair, she groaned and tried to find an access panel or projector that they no doubt were in the proximity of one. Of course, she ceased to try once Hask produced his lightsaber and slammed it into the source of the field, freeing them as well as disabling the alarm. "Bet Czerka didn't see that coming." She commented, smirking as her friends knack for destroying Czerka property. The pair didn't haven't to wonder much further before they came across a very nicely lined and sealed vault door, the kind that just screamed 'We Have The Good Stuff', which of course meant it had some amount of nonsense layered to protect it. Arial initially didn't see anything, but she quickly halted Hask before they moved forward. "Let me look this over real quick." She advised, kneeling down to inspect the floor, as she checked for the access panel linking to the laser grid. She managed to find the system she needed in a wall panel, and after getting access to the panel, it didn't take long for her to not only disarm the grid, but shut off the vault door alarm as well. "Done, and done." She muttered, stepping back as she concluded her task. "Think you can get that door open big guy?" She spoke, as the pair moved closer to the vault door. Arial wasn't sure if she could bypass the lock on this thing, given it was probably crazy advanced.

Hask walked alongside Arial into the last area of the facility and found themselves in the new room a few meters away from a very alluring vault door. "Somehow I find this way too suspicious." he commented. He wanted to take a step forward but Arial stopped him just in time.

He took a step back as he watched her work her magic on finding and disabling the hidden laser security system. She stepped back and made way for him to open the door. He stood in front of the door, carefully running his hands over it. He used a combination of the force and his own knowledge to figure out what exactly was going on with it. "Well then." he said with a chuckle. "This is basically a military-grade blast door, too thick for me to cut into. Not to mention the bunch of fallback systems that will seize it up if we cut through it. Only way in is that control panel and that thing's tight. This is going to take a while." he explained as he pulled his electronics out and started fiddling with it.

He stood there for probably half an hour, sifting through systems and getting close to tripping the alarms or locking them out, he succeeded. With a relieved sight he put the stuff away. "Alright, let's open her up." he said as he reached for the lever to open it. But as he flipped it, a power surge blew him back and slammed him into the opposite wall behind them. After a few seconds he sat back up, properly dazed. His left arm also threw sparks every few seconds. He groaned and tried to stand back up but just slumped back. "Missed one." he muttered.

After a minute or two he managed to stand up, but his arm was inoperable. "I'm going to sue them for damages." he mumbled as he walked over to the now open door.

Arial watched as Hask fiddled with the door, wanting to give him some pointers, but decided against it when she realized he would just get frustrated at her. So, she kept quiet, deciding not to point out when he was getting things wrong, or if he missed something she knew she could handle. She later regretted this when Hask was slammed into the wall and had his arm short circuiting. As Hask came up, he would find Arial over him looking him over. "Hask, you alright?" She asked, as he struggled to his feet only to falter. At least he succeeded in getting the door open, but personally she didn't think it was worth his well being put at risk. "Alright, future reference I'll handle the door security, you can do the heavy lifting okay?" She tried to make light of the situation, but she knew he wouldn't like the state his arm was in currently. She would attempt to help him to his feet once he felt he was recovered enough. With her friend now on her feet, Arial decided to get them to the final part of this mission, as the pair moved past the vault door and came into the final room.

It was a well decorated room, clearly intended to be a trophy room for highly prized valuables. She smirked as she gave the place a glance, spotting several of the motion detectors at the corners of the walls, as well as the wires that were connected to the ground below. She had a gut feeling about how the security for this room was set, as the designer for it had been rather careless in this design. She knelt down at the entrance of the room and felt the floor tiles, knowing that they probably made the same mistake for this room's motion detectors as well. She found what she was looking for, as she lifted one of the tiles and found the power cables that extended out of the room for the motion detectors. "Feel bad for whoever designed this system." She muttered, before taking a vibroknife and severing the wires, as the motion sensors around the room were disabled by her simple motion. Rising, Arial looked to Hask and nodded. "Alright, shouldn't have too many surprises left for us now." She commented, letting her big red friend move in her stead.

Arial took point again, scanning the room for any other surprises. While she was busy with that, Hask was messing around with his arm to try and get it to work again. But it was no use. It was going to need some proper work done on it to get it working again.

With a sigh he looked up again, watching Arial work on the security systems. She deactivated them and took a step back for him to take point. He flashed her a slight grin, but he wasn't exactly in a laughing mood with the nasty surprise he got on top of his arm burning out.

He walked into the vault, giving a look around. As he reached for one of the valuable ornaments, a loud buzz sounded off and the place started bustling again. Over the intercom they were ordered to leave the vault and report to the overseer's office. Hask gave her a shrug and turned to leave. "Mission accomplished." he commented as he walked away. By the door he waited for her to catch up before walking further. "Let's get our payment and get out of here. I need to get this arm fixed." he said with a rather irritable tone. He hated it when the arm stopped working.

At least they were getting a nice payment so that was fine.
