    Planet: Toydaria
Location: Random Forest Clearing, Galactic Alliance Controlled Territory

Boris pushed the ship toward the surface. The engines revved as the ship scrapped the tops of the trees. Kassanda stood over his shoulder. She pointed to clearing in the woods. Survival ships already occupied the space. Boris acknownledged the human and pulled the ship around and land the freighter in an open spot in the field. The ship touched ground with a thud. “Are you sure about this Kassanda?” the mechanical voice of Boris said. “Do we really want to be bothering ourselves with the Galactic Alliance?”

Kass cocked her head to the side. Reaching for the belt hung haphazardly on the chair. A dagger sheathed attached to the backside of the belt. "You don't require food but some of us do. This should be a good pay day." The human fastened it around her waist and made the way to the exit. Ryx, the direwolf following.

She exited the ship. There was a tent towards the center of the clearing. Rebel soldier scattered around the perimeter of the clearing. Three officers stood in the tent huddled over a table with a portable holomap display. Kass didn’t know the ranks of the Alliance. She just assumed the officer with the heavier insignia was the ranking officer. She strolled to the tent as it was a good 100 meter away. Leaning down she grabbed a stick, Ryx excited ran around her awaiting the throw. Tossing it a good distance to the side, she watched as the wolf ran off. A deep grey wolf loved the climate. It playfully ran and jumped through the bushes. He retrieved the stick. Kass grabbed it from the wolf’s mouth and tossed it again.

As she grew closer to the tent, she made a gesture with her hand and the wolf dropped the stick and took up position next to her. It maintained a friendly composure but that could change at a drop of dime. “Sig nah” the human said and the beast rest on a nearby chair in the tent.

“Word is you required some assistance.” She looked around. “And from the location, I’m assuming its hush hush.” Resting a hand on her hip, she grinned.

Sitting on a supply crate, Arial checked her blaster for the umpteenth time, moving to her knife, then to her pistol. She had been waiting here longer than she would have liked, but the Galatic Alliance was paying pretty well, so she was willing to tolerance their nonsense; though she never would have been waiting like this back in the Empire. Toydaria was a rather mundane world if Arial was to be honest, not much to do, even less to see; especially being isolated in this little base the GA had going. Her thoughts lingered towards her jedi friend, wondering what he was up to, though those thoughts were disrupted soon after as a new ship arrived. Arial watched as a ship touched down in the distance, a young bright red haired woman and her canine companion marching towards her position and into the tent nky long after; was this to be her partner for the upcoming mission? Arial could only hope so. Rising, she collected her gear, stowing the knife and putting both blasters in their respective holsters. Stepping in behind the woman, Arial crossed her arms, looking expectedly at the three officers standing before her and the little diagram they had put on display.

The head officer glanced to both women and nodded. "Seeing that both of you are here, we brought you in our to your technical prowess. Both of you have experience in dealing with Empire grade tech, as well as operating in their territory." He pointed towards Arial, then gestured towards the red head. "Miss Arial, you'll be working with Miss Kassanda for this operation." Arial nodded to the woman, giving a pleasant smile. The red head seemed energetic, but a tad young. Perhaps she'd surprise the former agent, but that remained to be seen. "We asked both of you to come here for a simple mission." The officer to Kassandra's left spoke, pressing a button on his side of the table, as the map displayed a Galatic map, which then focused in on a single planet; Ord Radama. "There's a Sith communication relay that has been traced back to this planet, but it's assumed to be decommissioned. We need you two to find it, and retrieve it." The officer to Kassanda's right now spoke, as the small image of the relay was displayed.

Arial only watched with a tad bit of interest, understanding what exactly was being asked of them. "So, you want us to rush into this place, nab some Sith tech, and bring it back here so your tech guys can dismantle it?" Arial asked, moving to her new partners side. She didn't like the idea of going against her old faction, but then again, that old faction had also left her to die. She buried that thought deep down and returned to the task at hand. The head officer stared at her hard, clearly not liking her question. "That's for us to decide, not you." Right. It was going to be one of those assignments. Arial cast a look to her partner for the assignment, her expression showing a look of reluctance. "Well, this won't be the first time I've stolen from some Sith." She half joked, though it was true; though the only thing she stole was some candy from Hask's stash, this was something entirely different.

As the woman fell in behind Kassanda, Ryx noticed her. He trotted to woman and sniffed momentarily. He dropped his head and nuzzled into the side of your leg. Lifting his head, he starred at you with his dark eyes. Tongue hung out of his mouth. As the group got closer, Kassanda gave the command and Ryx changed composer. He jumped on the chair and sat. A slight yawn escaped the beast mouth.

Kassanda looked over the woman. She looked capable and eager to get started. Pushing some hair behind her ear, the young woman listened to the officers. Ord Radama. This will be the first she had been to that planet. As the woman spoke, she looked over. The turquoise eyes meet with her eyes. Noticing the reluctance in the assignment, Kassanda flashed a reassuring smile to the woman. “It wouldn’t be the first time operating in Sith space and ‘borrowing’ from them. It’s was what I was trained to do after all.” She returned her attention to the officers. “Ord Radama is big. Do we have last known location of the relay? Do you need the whole relay or just the data?” She review the holo recordings of the area displayed.

After a moment Ryx jumped down from the chair and sat next to Arial. Listening to the conversation like he knew what was going on. Tracking the faces of the people talking, he rested his head against your leg.

Arial looked down at the dog as it seemed to take a liking to her, at which the agent bent down and petted the cute critter. A smile came over her face, as she listened to her partner question the Galactic Alliance officers. The head officer put his hands on the table, as he seemed to leer down at the two. "We have a rough idea where it is, somewhere here in this orbital route." He spoke, pressing a button on his side, as a small ring appeared to trace around the planet, as a 'X' appeared on the route, showing where the object was last broadcasting it's signal from; it seemed to be in a small clearing on the world. "We'd prefer to have the entire relay, but if you can pull out the data, that's fine too." He continued. Arial looked up at the three, her eyebrow raised. "This sounds all well and good, but how do we know the Sith haven't sent a retrieval team out to pick it up?" She continued petting the wolf though, her gaze not lightening up as she spoke. "All I'm saying, is that this might not be as simple as a smash and grab."

Arial was all to familiar with how the Empire worked, and they typically didn't let stuff like communication relays be left out in the open. The third officer spoke now, looking towards Arial. "We have reason to believe that the Sith are distracted with their conquest of Mandalore for the time being. This relay went offline recently, as in the last few hours. We've been looking to nab it for sometime, and this is our best chance. The sooner you two leave, the better the odds you won't encounter resistance." Arial rolled her eyes, looking back to the wolf that was loving on her. That was the GA blinded by optimism. Sometimes she wanted to smack them in the head with some common sense, because these people seemed to believe good luck was all someone needed to come out on top. Arial looked to Kassanda. "I'm not exactly sold on the idea, but I've heard just about everything except for our pay." Arial looked to the head officer again, rising up from the ground. "How much are you compensating us for this?" "Hazard pay on top of your usual. We'll make it worth your while." He spoke, looking to Kassanda. "If you're not satisfied with this, we can hold discussions once you return with the relay."

Ryx accepted petting from the human. Licking her hand, he seemed content. Kass eyed map while pulling as many details of the area. After a moment, the head officer spoken about pay. It peeked Kassanda’s interest. “Standard is 10000 credits and addition 1000 to our mutual broker that linked the meeting.” As she spoke, the female continued to watch the map. Ryx moved through your hand and pushed against your other leg.

“That is fine.” The head officer cleared his throat as slight annoyed look on their face. Unobserved by Kass, she stayed focus on the task at hand.

Moving to closer to the table, she adjusted the map. She pulled on her tactical and infiltration training as evaluate the target. Watching the projected course, she had a good understanding of where it was on the planet. Looking back at Ariel, she smiled. “I’m ready when you are? Is one of the ships yours or would you require a ride? I’m sure Ryx wouldn’t mind.” The beast cocked their head as the name was mentioned.

Arial grinned at the woman pressing the officers for the pay. Arial was starting to like her already. "Well, you heard the lady. It sounds about fair." Arial commented, as she stood beside her new partner. She watched as the woman got closer to the map, eyeing it up, probably trying to figure out it's position. The woman certainly had an air about her, Arial couldn't deny that.

As the woman turned back to Arial and asked how she planned on getting off world. "I was thinking of tagging along with you, if that's alright. I had someone drop me off, so my ride isn't here currently." Arial replied, crossing her arms and glancing down at the wolf as he glanced towards the two of them. "Your dog is adoreable by the way." Arial commented, bending down once more to give the pup some love.

"We have plenty of room and will likely make this job a lot easier if we stick together." She nodded to Arial. “Should we return the relay here?” She pushed her attention to the head officer.

“Returning it here will be acceptable.” He glared at the two.

Kassanda heard all she needed to complete the job. Ryx enjoyed the attention he was receiving. He returned the attention as his tail was wagging. The pure grey furred beast was peppered with spot of black throughout his large frame. The black and pink tongue met the fingers and hand of the young female. As calm as the beast was, there was an air around him that he could be a deadly if required.

Turning her back to the officer, Kassy proceed to walk back to ship. The wolf looked at Kass then back to Arial. He was clearly confused on what to do. He nuzzled into Arial’s leg to say ‘Let’s go’. Kass reached and grab a stick. Tossing it lightly into the field, Ryx trotted after it. The beast covered the distance quickly and returned with the stick. He approached the brown hair woman. Kassanda smiled and thought maybe there will be jobs in the future with this woman.

As the group reached the entrance of the ship, a combat droid leaned against the wall of the ship. “Where are we going, Boss?” Pushing himself off the ship, the droid rotated to face the group.

“Ord Radama, retrieving a down communication relay.” She said as expected a negative response from the smaller droid. A grin formed across her face.

The 5’5 foot tall droid grumbled as he proceeded into the ship. “Welcome to the Fat Boi, New Friend.”

“That’s Boris, he can be grumpy. He isn’t a fan of Sith area, the alliance, or people in general.” The redheaded woman followed behind him.

"Well, look like we've worn out our welcome." Arial smiled, pausing from her petting of the canine and stepping in line with Kassandra, albeit with a little help from the pup. Arial frankly had enough of the GA for the time being, not to mention they were on the clock for the time being. As the wolf took off in pursuit of the thrown stick, Arial smirked. She never knew the joys of having a pet, but right now she was rethinking it; though she'd need to get a new place, Zeltros was not going to cut it with a pet. "You know this isn't going to be a cakewalk? The GA are always so damn gullible. No wonder why them and the jedi order get along so well." Stepping on board the ramp of the ship, Arail cast a quick inspection of the craft and nodded in satisfaction. "Nice craft you got here." He haze immediately fell upon the combat droid, and tilted her head, it seemed to be a sentient droid at that, which she didn't mind at all; droids had a right to be their own person after all. "Thank you, Boris." She stated, thankful for the name queue from Kassandra. Finding herself into the cockpit and taking a seat. "Sooner we get offer, the faster we can get this job over with."

Kass affirmed that she understood the job was going to be dangerous. A part of her welcome the danger as it kept her moving forward. Craving the excitement, she had in her times with the imperial agent. Other than the simple nod of acknowledgment, the red woman remained silent until we were closer to the ship.

After Boris being his normal friendly self, we all settled in the cockpit. She unlatched her belt and flung it over the back of her chair. Ryx jumped into an oversize dog bed, curling up into a ball. Boris flipped some switches and pushed some button. The engines came to life. The roar was loud, and the ship shook a little before it lifted from the ground. Kassanda gripped the back of the cheer. Ryx letting a little howl out. He wasn’t necessarily a fan of space travel. Closing her eyes for a second, the auburn-haired woman-focused. The mystical invisible force flurried around the woman and moved toward Ryx. His discomfort quickly switched to content. Placing his head down whiling looking around the room, he smiled and laid in the bed. Kass returned to the task. She shimmied into the chair next to Boris. Pushing various buttons, she brought a holoprojection of Ord Radama. She brought up a suspect crashing spot.

“I know the Rebs said that they want the full relay but that might not be possible as the relays come in various sizes.” She turned her chair towards you. Through the window of the cockpit, you could see Boris skillful bring the ship around the meeting and proceed to space. “If the relay is too big, then we may need to secure what we can. I didn’t want to bring this up to them.” Her eyebrows raised. “You know, better to ask forgiveness than permission.” She chuckled lightly then went serious again. “My experience in slicing and such is fairly basic. Do you have any knowledge in these communication relays?” She cocked her head to the side. The red curls fell from behind her ear.

“We are entering hyperspace. Should take us a few hours to arrive at the Ord Radama system.” Boris’s mechanical voice announced.

Arial smirked as the woman explained the issue with the relay. She was glad someone knew what they were talking about, because it was pretty obvious that the officers club down there was just reading off some paper a gear head handed them. "Oh, I'm well aware of that. But I doubt those geniuses know what a relay even does. We can just pull out the transceiver, if it's a planetary array then I don't see it happening, but we can get them the parts they need." Arial began checking her blaster once again. "I concur. I honestly didn't want to take another job for the GA, but I have bills to pay. Unfortunately they pay decent for easy work." Arial looked up as the woman asked about communication relays, causing Arial to grin. "I've only hijacked a handful or so, but I can get to the good stuff if that's what you're asking." Arial had gotten into comm relays regularly back when she was a regular agent, if anything they were her specialty. She was passable at most slicing acts, but comm relays were where she did her best work.

Kassanda leaned back in the chair. "Good, your skills will make this process much easier." Routing back to the front as she adjusted the recline on the chair. "There are some makeshift beds in beds in the back if you want to get some rest." Kass just draped some cloth of her head and proceed to fall sleep. It was slightly uncanny at the rate she fell asleep.

"Boss doesn't sleep much. Something about hyperspace helps her out." Boris stood up as the ship was in autopilot.

Arial nodded and withdrew a holopad from her pocket, as she began to catch up on reading, then noticed Kassanda was actually passed out. Blinking, Arial looked to the droid, then back to her partner. That was probably the fastest she had seen someone go from awake to asleep, needless to say she was impressed. "Well, whatever works." Arial commented, before going back to her holopad. This mission would be interesting to say the least, but if nothing else she'd found a new partner to take on jobs with. Least, that's what she hoped for.
