    Deucalians and Sith welcome

    ❅ THEME ❅

Nar Shaddaa was no longer a viable place to party, not for a Sith Crusader at least. Coruscant seemed a little bit out of the way and already she had been there numerous times. Zeltros though, that was uncharted territory. After losing to Aadya in the Emperor in Paradise she felt a little bad about not winning. Then there was the whole loss of Korriban on top of that. It was all a recipe for her to end up on a party planet, in the fun area of town hoping to just cut loose a bit.

Hopefully she would make some friends tonight. It had been awhile since Drali had been out in public and partying with strangers and friends. Tonight she was dressed in all black and had her minor gear hidden underneath her jacket. Her mind was just hoping to get some escape from the stress of everything that had happened in the past couple of weeks. Most of her cuts, bruises and scraps had healed but she still had a bandaid on her left cheek for the time being but it was a super cute animal that was either a unicorn or just a very colorful dear like animal.

Getting up from her chair, the Deucalian walked over to the bar to get another drink. The table she had been sitting at alone had several empty glasses indicating she had already been starting on the alcohol. Usually a night of shenanigans like this ended up with her waking up different the next morning but in this moment she did not care. A pocket full of credits, a stout liver and motivation to party ran through her veins.

Arriving at the bar there was a spot open for maybe a petite girl to fit in. But Drali was not so small anymore, not that she had been. After the nightsister's transformation a few centimeters had been added to her height along with some added definition of her physique. The Crusader did not mind. She felt even better now though it did mean she had to go shopping again. Then again, most of her out of date wardrobe had been on Korriban to begin with. Raising a glass silently the woman made a personal toast to the lost love with the Emperor, Varyn, as well as her clothes.

The Purple Palace, as it was called, was a decent sized night club in the redlight district of Zeltros's capital. It had a large selection of alcoholic beverages. The clientele were pretty dynamic as well but Drali was mostly focused on just watching the variety of local ladies that were attending the establishment. Sighing she headed back to her table. Maybe a few more drinks and she would decide to start hitting on one of them.

When whispers and rumours of events unfolding began to stir on the breeze, some women went on to spread the word along to next gossipy victim. Others did their best to stop that root of evil. Others drank to forget... and partied hard to forget more tragedy, or at least dull the edge of pain.

Skuld, now known as Eva, was not here for any tragic reason, unless the death of a worthless relative was considered tragedy. He died with his honour and was buried that way. But she was here to celebrate, and Zeltron was just the right place. Between Ando Prime, Ord Cantrell, and Mustafar, she needed a break that involved tasty drinks and lovely women. She wanted to drag along a few companions, but when she landed it seemed that they hadn't arrived yet.

She too dressed to party. With her leggings, heavy boots, black cutoff sports top and gloves, she blended in with a matching mostly monochrome of dark blue top with black to all else. She was never completely unarmed, however. If any dared try to touch her, they would feel it. Blaster, vibrodaggers, her gloves...

Her mechanical arm gleamed a dull silver, purpled by the pulsing neon lights as she stepped through, back tall. Upon her other arm, however, a howling varlwulf had its head thrown back to bisect with a crescent moon. Her scant clothing enhanced the appearance of her cut physique; despite the arm, she was proud of her strength, and it showed with head held high, and icy eyes that cut through the masses.

    She was not impressed.

She slowly stepped through as drunken revelers swayed out of her way, entranced no doubt by dream and drug.

Eva sighed when the beauty manning the bar turned her way. They were all so kriffing beautiful... but she felt nothing else, even as the woman smirked and leaned forward. Icy eyes remained fixed on the pink woman's face as she slid over a small pile of credits.

"Gizer ale, and keep it pouring lovely," she rumbled, turning away to survey the scene. They rested briefly on a figure that seemed vaguely familiar. She stared for a beat, before she snagged her now arrived drink, taking a long sip.

    Very promising indeed.

Amur thought that her time on the pleasure capital of the galaxy would be exactly that, pleasurable. However her attempts to have some fun at the much hyped 'party of the century' left her sorely disappointed. A night of fun and tying strings around wealthy socialites devolved into a a bloody hostage situation that left Amur drained and her body hating her. Her pain for today was a 7 out of 10 which made trying to function difficult. Every waking step took concentrated effort to make, and every sound seemed to reverberate and echo in her head agitating her with every new stimulation. It meant that the sith carried an off putting air of irritation everywhere that she went that day. Add to that the fall of Korriban which had become Amur's home in her heart and the subsequent death of the emperor and well that was like rubbing salt into the wound.

So when Amur nearly snapped and nearly brought a pair of gossiping Zeltrons to become one with the force (Their only crime being gossiping too loudly, too close to Amur) Amur knew that she needed to blow off all that steam that collected inside her since stepping foot on this planet. The Purple Palace seemed to be just perfect for that. She made note that the clientele here seemed different for the last crowd. Gone were the stuffy pricks who wet themselves at the merest hint of a blaster shot and in their place was a much more rugged, more fun bunch. Amur was already starting to like her prospects.

Amur walked into the bar wearing a red long sleeved dress with white striping and gold stitching, a blonde wig that looked real enough and more more appealing than her scalp and a ornate mask that she used to hide her face. Today though was making her question the value of the mask as it's weight and friction against her skin was especially agitating today. Maybe someone here had a kink for burn scars?

Amur strutted her way to the front of the bar making space for herself with little regard for anyone that may have been in her way. She motioned the bartender over but she was already busy with a few customers so Amur would have to wait for a few minutes. In those few minutes a couple things came to note to Amur. Like how one of the vertebrae in her lower back had decided that now would be a wonderful time to dislodge itself just enough to start sending the sensation of excruciating pain. Each note of the music now felt like someone was aggressively scrubbing sandpaper at the very top of brain. She was mere centimeters away from that wonderful elixir that would help her out so much right and that karking bartender was the only one stopping her from indulging. Finally though she made her way to the sith.

"3 shots of your strongest Hothian vodka to start. Then I'll take whatever you can keep flowing." The command was taken but Amur felt like the beautiful Zeltron was scoffing at (or maybe Amur needed an outlet for her anger) and decided that she needed to 'motivate' the bartender to keeping tending to her. So she removed the mask revealing what once may have been attractive face. The face though was marred by a smearing of rippled, inflamed flesh and scar tissue that ran up the left half of her face. The bartender now finding herself in the awkward position of trying to not acknowledge the horrific display in front of her. Amur's dark blue eyes were now dead locked on the Zeltron's.

"As you can see, I could really use a drink." Amur added sporting a devilish smile as she uttered the words to the bartender. Before you could say Scarif 3 shots of Hothian vodka were now in front of Amur and were just as quickly replaced by 3 empty shot glasses. The sensation of the liquid running down her throat was already enough to start to dull the her pain and her headache enough that she could now unclench her fist which she now realized had been formed. She let the alcohol work it magic and started to sip on a stout. She could now start to scan the crowd looking for anyone who may have collected a few stories to share over a drink. or five The night had finally started to begin.

Things hadn't been going particularly well for Aadya recently in her personal life. It had taken her some time and many drinks to get over Milo, but she had done it. And although she'd barely gotten to know the Emperor over her course of time on the show, he'd recently gone off and gotten himself killed too. It seemed that no matter what she did, those who she opened up to ended up meeting some untimely end. It really all was just kind of bullshit.

So needless to say, Aadya was looking for something.. someone.. literally anything to take her mind off her troubles. There were a lot of places she could have gone to drown herself in drugs and booze, but there was really no better place to do that in her opinion than Zeltros. On Zeltros everything just seemed to.. fade. Anxiety, depression, fear - all of it melted away with the sweet scent of pink pheromones.

Staring at the entrance to the Purple Palace, Aadya finished up a smoke as she stood on the edge of a curb across the street. She was dressed to party, opting for one of her more skin-tight dresses to really push the point home to whoever was looking that she was down to clown tonight. It was one of those nights where you were just looking for any excuse to make terrible choices, but those kind of nights always ended up making the best stories to tell a few days later when you were done being hungover and actually able to open your eyes to the sunlight.

Crossing the threshold into the PP, Aadya scanned around absentmindedly looking for anyone she might know. Despite the galaxy being such a massive place, Aadya got around well enough to where she would probably know someone in most bars scattered around the worlds worth going to. To her immense surprise, she spotted a truly familiar face: her best friend Zandrali.

Nearly sprinting over to the yolked Deucalian woman, catching her in a hug from behind as she just got back to her table. "Zandrali, what a surprise to see you!" She said, a beaming smile spreading across her face. Taking a step back, Aadya eyed Drali up and down and nodded her head in approval. "Dang girl you're lookin gooood." Aadya took one of Drali's braids and twirled it in her finger a bit, possibly coming across as more sultry and flirtations than she'd initially intended. "You drunk enough to dance yet or are we gonna have to start doing shots?" From the looks of the empty glasses on the table and no one else around, it seemed Drali was already several drinks deep though Aadya knew that the woman could hold her liquor better than pretty much anyone else she knew.

Spotting a serving droid, Aadya hailed it over and grabbed four of the shot glasses that it had on its little tray. "Open a tab for Aadya Drast." Looking towards Drali, Aadya winked and grabbed one of the glasses, motioning for Drali to grab one for herself. "Here's to a good night."

Looking around, Drali debated if she should return to her seat and just continue to watch the crowd. Mulling over the option of people watching versus actually interacting was still being processed when the elegantly dressed Aadya grabbed her from behind. Widening her eyes Drali was just surprised that someone was running that fast right for her without knowing it was coming. "Oof"

The petite crusader was a good enough friend that Drali still recognized her voice when she enthusiastically greeted her. The surprised expression quickly turned to a smile. "Aadya? Aadya, you surprised me." She was not used to surprise physical contact but giggled at the greeting all the same since it seemed like a very typical cute girl greeting. Turning around after the Drast let her go the Deucalian could see her fully. A moment of hesitation as she felt the braid pull away from the rest of her hair along with the stunning sight before her. "Th-thank you. I think you're outclassing me though." She returned the compliment along with a gesture towards how well dressed the woman was.

Then came the real questions, was she ready to dance. "I am definitely drunk enough to dance. BUT...I'm also down for some shots, a shot...no...definitely shots." Her eyes looked up as she debated outloud whether she wanted just a single shot or multiple. By the time she made up her mind though, Aadya had already nabbed some libtations. Drali did not need to be told twice.

She would hold the shot glass up for a moment to toast her party buddy. "To good drink and good friends. May we never run out of either." With that said she threw back whatever was in the shot glass. When the glass came back down it was empty and the Deucalian tapped it twice on the nearest horizontal surface, leaving it there.

"Hey, I wanted to apologize. Sorry that you did not get your time with Var-...the Emperor." The woman had wanted to keep dating Varyn but accepted her rejection. It had still been fun and even if she had been picked, the Emperor probably would have still died and Drali would be where Aadya was standing.

Her apologetic tone quickly whipped to a more chipper one. Aadya was probably out here with the same goal as her, to cut loose and forget about their troubles even if it was just for a couple of hours. No sense in bringing it all up when they were trying to get wild. "Tonight we're gonna party like there's no tomorrow though! Buckle up Aadya, you've hopped on the Turnt Tuistco Express! The one rule is to have a good time!" With that she took the second shot available and did the same as she had with the first. Grabbing Aadya's hand she would prance over to the dance floor, dragging her if she was ready or not. Their shots had been consumed after all, so that meant dancing was next on the schedule.

This was a nice part of Zeltros. Morgan wasn't too comfortable in these places. To him, a proper bar needed to be dodgy. He'd spotted that the glasses were clean, and immediately felt out of his element.

Still, he was a good-looking man, and this was an era where disheveled passed off as fashion. Vintage. Some people paid good credits for 'acid washed' trousers like his. He'd just decided to clean them while drunk the one time. Adding to that a nice, clean pair of boots, one tucked under the trouser's hem, the other left over and unlaced, a plain shirt that fit him just right, and a leather jacket on top that he'd won off of a disgruntled Morellian in a drinking bet a few years back. It seemed to be of good make. Morellians lived a long time, and so too did their clothing. Though it was clear this coat had seen some adventures, it held up nicely. Had Character. With a vibroblade and a blaster tucked away somewhere on his person to top things off, all in all it could be said that the man cleaned up pretty nicely... Or so he liked to tell himself, at least.

Morgan sat at a comfy couch by a table, arms wide, head tilted upwards, a cigarra in his mouth and his eyes closed. As relaxed as can be. That would be the general look of things, at least. The truth of the matter was, sadly, far less glamorous.

When Aeron had told him a Deucalian meeting of sorts would be coming to pass, the merc had characteristically misunderstood and gone to Zeltros a day early. Angry at himself for not keeping a straight calendar, naturally it came to pass that the best way for him to punish himself was to get blackout drunk. And so he did, returning to his temporary abode only in the wee hours of the morning with no memory of the night's events, one shoe, a bloodied lip, and a fist full of credits, strangely enough.

The miracles of modern medicine cleared his lip situation right up, but by now his hangovers were very much drug-resistant. So, with a few hours sleep, a cold shower, a change of clothes and a raging headache, here he was again. He'd forgotten to lace up one of his boots and still hadn't realised it, and lacked the neck strength to keep his head upright. There was no way out of this situation but to resort to the trusty hair of the dog...

For a moment he wondered if the Deucalians had come up with the expression, what with their fixation on wolves, but just as quickly realised that this might well be the singular stupidest thing he'd thought in weeks, and so put it out of his mind, vowing never to tell it to anyone. Ever.

Arcas signaled to one of the bartenders, who immediately perked up and made her way towards him. "Could I get a refill, love? And just... leave the bottle, yeah? Thanks." - the man was so parched the cigarra stuck to his lower lip and moved with it as he spoke. Only after finishing his order did he finally deign to take a puff, clip it between his fingers and pop the ash on the tray.

The fair-haired merc had come to rely on Aeron to act as his Deucalian translator. And tonight, until this patented hangover cure kicked in at least, he might just need his friend to translate Basic as well.

Being 15 was basically like being an adult, there were so many decisions a girl of Vesna's status had to make from the brand of eye liner to how wide of a step she needed to walk to not look like a hobo or pregnant. This made it all the more difficult because everyone clearly was looking at her, so it was important to figure out how to make them not talk about you, but talk about you in a manner that will make them respect you. Wearing one of her favorite dresses, Vesna heard about the party being thrown on Zeltros, where she certainly thought party was clearly defined for the rest of the galaxy. However, to get here was more of a larger trick, but after pulling a few favors she managed to make it and hoped this event will allow her to rub some elbows with other Sith and Imperials that can help her in the long run with her goals.

Though the number one thing she wanted, was just to relax and have fun. It was hard being in her life.

Vesna got inside the club easily enough, the pheromones from the Zeltrons present hit her quickly and it was difficult to focus until someone bumped into her; the girl scoffed and headed to the bar, waving down a bartender for a drink. Ale was for dirty Mandalorians, her drink of choice needed to have taste, her cocktail made to order, it clearly was a reflection in her youthful tastes, poor choices and sugar. Taking a sip for satisfaction, she thought she heard a familiar voice over the music; her eyes scanned carefully until she saw her cousin and her eyes light up with excitement as she saw Aadya speaking with another woman.

The teen snaked her way to her cousin, yelling out her name to catch her attention, "Aaaadyaahhh!" she quickly joined her cousin's side, eager to know what she was up to.

    "GAH! KARK!"

A series of boisterous laughs came from a table with a small group congregated around it. Scarce spatters of blood of various colors decorated the tabletop, as did divots entrenched in the surface. Uhtred stabbed his Tching dagger down with enough force to keep it standing as he sat back, arrogantly leaning in his chair as his opponent had to take a shot of 'juma juice'... sure, that's what it was.

A game of bladeweave was a rare pleasure for Uhtred, nowadays, and he relished it. Especially when it mixed in drinking. Uhtred's opponent keeled over and vomited as he drank down the bizarre beverage, which almost appeared to be... smoking slightly?

"Who's next?!", he declared, brazen and confident. Sure enough, another individual, an alien of some sort, sat down in front of Uhtred as the two placed their hands on the table, ahead of each other and spread out, prepared for the game. Almost as if on cue, both Uhtred and his new opponent began stabbing their daggers down inbetween their fingers. Sequences and patterns were almost like muscle memory for Uhtred now, and movement after movement went in with near perfect placement. Unfortunately, however, it was the same for his opponent, and in what felt like an eternity of sport, Uhtred winced and jerked his hand, earning the scorning laughs from those gathered around.

The Deucalian threw his head back and sighed in frustration as he awaited the drink he'd have to swallow down at once. Uhtred had tasted the mystery drink that others were passing off as mere juma juice, and it wasn't anything he hadn't been able to take before. But the stranger at the table ordered something else, and Uhtred eyed it from the moment it left the counter.

If Uhtred's eyes could have spoken words, it'd have been a thousand. This 'drink', if it could have been called that, barely looked like something fit for consumption. For one, it was... well, green... and it was glowing...

"...my kriffing drink is kriffing glowing?", Uhtred said, more as a statement of disbelief than a true inquiry.

Uhtred exhaled sharply as one of the spectators brought the drink over and handed it to Uhtred, who felt it better to just get it over with than grumble over whether or not this stuff would end up poisoning him.

"GRRAHH!!", Uhtred bellowed, falling out over the side of his seat. Whatever that drink was, it flowed like fire and hit his stomach like ground glass; he could feel it already. In fact, for a moment, he couldn't even hear the cantina around him; he just felt straight pain that numbed him to anything else.

As another spectator attempted to take Uhtred's seat and challenge the alien from before, the Deucalian reached out with his hand and grabbed the edge of the table, pulling himself upwards and back into his chair. Uhtred's vision wasn't distorted but... he could tell something was turning. Or was he turning? Or was it spinning?

"Again, bastaard!", Uhtred yelled, glaring about at anyone that might have tried to pull him away for their own turn.

As the two placed their hands out, with Uhtred stumbling to get his hand where it needed to be on the table, Uhtred lasted an impressive four stabs before he drew his own blood again, wincing as he managed to glance over at a now suspiciously wavy-looking glass... and wavy-looking everything.

"... oh... kark...", he managed to grumble out, barely able to look straight as the spectator from before poured a new glass and walked it over. He had no idea what the kriff he was drinking, but he was pretty sure he'd be feeling its love tomorrow.

Zeltros was was a stark reminder of Aeron’s time as a gladiator. The opulence was unsettling for him. Anytime parties were thrown on Loovria the famed fighters were placed on display and set as prizes for the highest bidder. The acts he’d been required to preform under his masters bidding made his skin crawl. Had he not been asked here by Uhtred, Aeron, would have avoided the whole planet indefinitely.

The newly minted Deucalian walked the strip making his way to the meeting place. He was dressed pragmatically, his raven locks were pulled half up in a messy bun, he wore a simple black tunic, olive green trousers, and his gun belt carrying his DH-7. His boots upon first glance were simple work boots, but to a sneaker head they were a limited edition single release from ten years ago that he’d paid way to much for. He was also aware that wearing them made him a walking contradiction, but if he were going to blend in he needed to feel the part.

Aeron stepped into the bar and surveyed his surroundings. The establishment was a far cry from the bars he and Morgan frequented and his anxiety was beginning to reach a fevered pitch. Luckily, a shock of blonde hair caught his attention as he spotted Morgan spread out at on a couch and decided to alleviate his own discomfort by bothering his brother.

Mathis slid in beside Morgan and pilfered a smoke from the rogue. He lit up and took a deep breath.

“This isn’t exactly what I expected when Uhtred told me about a meeting,” he said with an apologetic smile, but he assumed Morgan felt right at home here in Zeltros.

Icy blue eyes took it all in; familiar faces mingled with not familiar. Even she, who had watched a few holovid broadcasts, knew of Zandrali and Aadya, but it seemed the two were comfortable in their own bubble. Then there was the woman that made the bar wench quake in her boots; she gazed unflinchingly at the woman, and if seen, lifted her glass slightly in a toast. There was no pity in her curiosity; a subtle nod that everyone wore their scars differently(@Caught in Strangereal ). The woman seemed savage in her own way, and Skuld could approve. Besides, there was some savage grace to surviving something terrible perhaps. She could sympathize, but little more than that.

Nei, it seemed Uhtred and some other being were caught in bladeweave, and for once it seemed like he was on the losing end of it.

"Ertu að láta þig drekka málningu ræma, bróðir?" Came her low voice, glass of her blue drink in one hand, bottle in the other as spectators shuffled aside. She smirked, crossing her arms, and black brows raised in bemusement.

Not many understood their language, but she was having a keen enjoyment watching others get themselves smashed silly. Not that she had anything against being absolutely plastered; there had been times. But tonight she wanted to socialize, and perhaps, forget some of her troubles in good drink and entertainment.

So far, the night did not disappoint.

"Psh, no one outlcasses you Drali." Aadya said, taking her shots in tandem with her friend. When she next brought up Varyn and the show, Aadya simply shrugged her shoulders and gave the woman a small smile. "So it goes," She said simply. There wasn't really much point in going into it too much, not like anything was going to change.

When Drali grabbed her by the hand and took her out to the dance floor, Aadya couldn't help but let all of the sad feelings melt away as they started to dance. The music shifted so some dance tunes and she couldn't help but let her body just flow naturally to the beat. Maybe the booze was already running to her head or maybe she was just doing what felt right at the time, but Aadya found herself dancing.. very close to Drali, bumping to the beat and grinding close.

Just when Aadya was starting to lose herself for real and the bass about to drop, her eyes snapped open when she heard someone calling her name. The voice was a little familiar but she couldn't place it right away, then she saw the tiny form of her.. fifteen year old cousin come bopping up to her. "Vesna! What a surprise to see you here," Aadya couldn't help but laugh. To anyone with even half a brain there was no way Vesna looked a day over her actual age. But then again, they were on Zeltros. Zeltrons didn't give two shits if teenagers wanted to get crunk in a club and party.

Reaching into her dress, Aadya took out a small metal case that she had tucked into her bra. Inside was a couple different things, but she was mostly interested in the spice. Pulling out a bit of what her guy called "rainbow kitten party sex time", Aadya took some and offered it around to Drali and Vesna. Sure, offering your underage cousin hard drugs probably wasn't the most "role-modely" thing to do, but Aadya wasn't really concerned with that right now. She'd keep an eye on Vesna in case she got too lit, but they were here to party and partying is what they were gonna do.

With Aadya in hand Drali moved to the dance floor. The music was changing to a different type of intensity. Raising her hands in the air she felt like grabbing the beams of light, letting her body just act out of instinct with the rhythm of the song. She realized that the two off duty Crusaders were not just dancing on the floor at the same time, but Aadya was actually dancing with her. Drali had already been having a good time now that her friend was here but the smaller woman was maybe throwing her more signals of her interest.

All that wondering came to an end as Aadya noticed someone else and stopped dancing. The Deucalian looked over, curious to see who it was. Oh more people? That'll be fun. She wondered before she saw coming through the crowd a small female, even shorter than Aadya.

Almost immediately Aadya pulled out a container of some sort. As she did that Draliwaved at Vesna with a friendly smile. "Hi hi. I'm Zandrali. Nice to meet you." When the spice got around to her partook and then returned it. A little huff of surprise as she had not had spice in some time. Turning around and doing a full three hundred and sixty degree turn of the room she anticipated some short catching up between Vesna and Aadya would insue as most times when friends happened upon one another in public did. But Drali did not know Vesna so would keep herself occupied by watching the other dancers as the music changed.

One of the men in the crowd, wearing a simple black t-shirt that was maybe a little too small but definitely showing off his toned body smiled at her with a smoldering look. Drali could not help but smile, not because she wanted to signal him or anything. It just made her happy to be noticed. He would make his way over to her, dancing as he came. He would lean in a little bit. oh he's got them pheromones. She remembered. That was probably adding to the feelings she was having.

"Where are you from?" He asked, having to shout a little to be heard over the music despite being so close to her. "Off world." She replied knowing he would not know where Atrer III was or probably actually care. But she also did not want to make things easy on the guy. "First time here?" The woman would not respond immediatly, just keep a slight smile, looking down at the ground for a moment as their feet moved. "Maybe. I'm here with some friends. You?" The two would keep dancing while Aadya and Vesna caught up, making small talk though maybe she would be able to get some free drinks out of this guy. He was pretty cute.

Morgan tilted his head slightly to look at Aeron from the corner of his eye. As the black-haired individual spoke, the merc bent his torso forward, resting his forearms on his legs. A more comfortable position to reach the glass and bottle the nice lady had done him the favour of bringing.

As Aeron finished his piece Morgan's head hung, bobbing a bit. A moment of silence passed, as Arcas looked his friend over a few times and knocked back a handful of shots, until about a third of the bottle was gone and alcohol flowed through his bloodstream once again. He never really had figured out why it was that the hair of the dog worked, but by the time he felt tipsy he could feel the fog in his hungover brain lift, and his ability to form coherent thought be restored.

At that moment, Arcas gave his friend an unnaturally profound look, before his cigarra once more reached his lips and he took a long, deep puff. "A friend I used to run with told me once, that his gran had a mystical panacea. Very simple recipe. You crawl into bed with two things: a bottle of high-proof booze and a hat. You put the hat on the left bed-post, and then you drink until you can see it on the right." - the merc said, his hands motioning towards imaginary bedposts, bottles and hats. Even let off a few chuckles at the end, having amused himself. The glint of intelligence remained, however, and before long he continued his vaguely drunk speech.

"What I mean is." - he said, pointing in Aeron's general direction with the fingers that clipping the cigarra - "You spend too much time running from your demons." A pause, as he took another relaxed puff. Morgan was a surprisingly insightful man, for a degenerate drunk who enjoyed picking fights a little too much and would probably die horribly as a result of one or both of those things. "And here I am, thinking: If you like running so much, brother..." - a second pause and puff, which he then blew out of his nose - "Why not chase the dragon instead?"

Accompanying this terrible metaphor-turned gag came a grin that could only be described as devilish. It rushed through the fair-haired merc's handsome features, and was as representative of who he was as a person as it got. Perceptive? Very. Pointlessly dramatic? No question. Actually capable of offering helpful advice? Probably not. Even he'd tell you that much.

When it came to this wonderful, ragged band of lunatics, Aeron was, morally speaking, the best of them. A life filled with booze, whore-mongering and fighting for the thrill of it didn't suit him, it didn't look like. But the man was too often trapped in his own little circle of hell. Arcas couldn't tell what was ailing him, and would never ask - a man's problems were his to deal with - but something was there, and this much was obvious: He needed to let loose. Get into trouble. Find other stuff to regret and brood over.

Morgan then leaned over to the side, unable to miss the rowdy bunch clearly led by Uhtred. Those shouts and the sound of knife hitting table were an unmistakable combination. Raising a quizzical eyebrow at the scene, Arcas then faced Aeron and spoke: "Come now. Let's join Uhtred, get filthy drunk and... probably lose a finger or something." Despite his nonchalance, the Corellia-born was always apprehensive about a drunk Wardruna. Arcas firmly believed there really was no telling what that man would do while under the influence. Only that it was usually a blast... Sometimes literally.

With this he snatched the bottle up from the table and looked at it for a good long while, seriously considering whether or not to drink straight from it. Ultimately deciding not to, he poured himself another shot, downed it, and then clipped bottle and glass in one hand, before getting up and motioning for Aeron to lead the way with a friendly wink and a nod.

She was too preoccupied initially with her drink to notice but as the pain started fading away she noticed the deucalian studying her and seemingly lift her drink up possibly as a toast. Amur scanned the woman making note of the mechanical arm, taking the Deucalian as someone who likely understood what it meant to survive at any cost. Well even if the words of others always felt like hollow echoes to Amur's feelings; however, it was nice to hear other perspectives. When the Deucalian spoke out in her native tongue it only piqued her curiosity even more. She figured she would make for an intriguing conversation.

"I don't know if it would be more fun to join them or just watch them fall over some more?" Amur quipped to her hopefully new drinking partner ( @Killa Ree ) motioning to raucous going at the bladeweaving table. Trying to get her attention. She then decided to add:

"The name is Amur by the way."

Amur's eyes would then scan over the bar at each nexus of activity from the roaring drunks to a couple of drasts who seemed... oh naughty. Amur noted spying what looked to be a young Vesna with Aadya moments away from having a part of poor Vesna's innocence destroyed. This night kept getting better by the moment.

She did look surprised to see her cousin present, passing it off with a laugh and Vesna laughed too, "This place is pretty extra, but I like it, the music, the drinks, the guys..." her eyes drifted and followed a shirtless Twi'lek and a small bashful smile curled on the corner of her lip, but her attention came back to focus when the other woman spoke up, introducing herself as Zandrali. Vesna's jaw dropped realizing who else she was speaking to, "Oh my gods....The Zandrali?!" she gasped, "You were on Emperor on Paradise too!" suddenly the teen felt inferior to the two holonet stars, "This party is sooo cool!"

Vesna had to practice some self-control and not jump up and down in a childish fashion, but by the way her eyes were light up and the high pitch excitement in her tone, she might as well be jumping. She saw Aadya offering some spice and Vesna raised both her eyebrows as though she were contemplating, but when it was passed to her, she didn't deny and copied how Zandrali took hers, she did the same thing.

Though with less grace and did her best to cover up an obvious coughing fit as she quickly downed the rest of her drink. She saw Zandrali turn her attention to a cute looking guy in a tiny shirt and Vesna turned to Aadya, "I didn't know you knew Zandrali too! Is she cool? Like you?" the teen asked, her eyes quickly moving from her cousin back to Zandrali, "Does she do..." Vesna paused, the alcohol quickly veined through her system and she smiled stupidily.

"So cool...how do you get cool friends..."

The drink, whatever it truly was, escaped from Uhtred's mouth like vapor as it flowed down his throat. The way it burned on the way down, the way it wracked his gut and his head at the same time, was a sensation the Deucalian had never before felt... and what actually scared him was that he wasn't certain he entirely disliked-it.

Or perhaps he was just properly drunk.

Uhtred's world had suddenly begun to turn upside down, spiraling as a jerk of force struck him at his back. Or rather, his back struck something; the cold, hard floor. Uhtred could hear some voices around him, most laughing, but it was just distorted noise. The ceiling appeared to get closer then pull further away, occasionally even at the same time... somehow.

As the Deucalian attempted to get up, his first movement sent a strike of pain in his stomach, like a Trandoshan gave him its best punch to the gut, causing him to ungracefully fall back to the floor. In the aftermath of reeling and clinching his eyes shut, Uhtred rolled his body over and glanced forward, noticing that the bar was, well, moving... or shaking, he couldn't quite tell. And it was changing colors. Or had it always been changing colors?

    Wait, where was he again?

"Hey buddy", said a voice. Uhtred couldn't tell who said it or where they were, but it sounded like a schutta and started grabbing him, lifting him up. "You need some hel—"

"Kark you, I don't need your KRAFFING HALP!", Uhtred said, jerking his arm away after he was lifted up. He still couldn't actually see who lifted him up, everything was too... well, wavy. In the end, he was yelling at a pole. "I-I... I? ...uh.. I'm Uhtred... KARKING-Stormblade! I don't need your kraffin... kraff... kriff?" Uhtred said, his voice trailing off as he turned around to stumble off.

Wait, what was that word again?

    BLANG!

As Uhtred stumbled away, he walked head-first into another pole, once again falling backwards as he verbally groaned from the pain. Or the shock, he actually wasn't sure which pain he was feeling at the time. But in short-enough order, his eyes opened again, and while everything was still warped, he could at least recognize a few figures. Figures he knew. Or thought he knew.

"Ssss...", he slurred, struggling to point at Eva. "Ssssshark!" (@Killa Ree)

Wait, that wasn't right—not 'shark'. Or was it? No it wasn't... unless it was?

His eyes then turned to the two other figures, further off from Eva, that he could make out.

"Annnd... um...", Uhtred said, excessively exhaling in his frustration to remember the names of Aeron (@Zay) and Morgan (@Pontus). "...youshes...", he concluded. Eh, that was close enough.

She smirked at Amur's comment, tilting her head slightly to eye the other woman as she sipped on her drink. She still hadn't bothered to put her mask back on... Skuld didn't really give a kark one way or another. It was a wild start, anyhow, with those three crazy kids to one side with spice, Uhtred rapidly falling to pieces, and then the appearance of Morgan, and what appeared to be the mysterious Aeron. No surprise, Deucs could party too. Add some knives to the mix, and maybe an ax-throwing contest... what could go wrong?

A low chuckle vibrated in her throat, tilting her head to Uhtred's prone form, arms slowly crossing.

"Ja, why not? Is all fun and games until someone loses a hand. Then it's hilarious." Dark, morbid humor twisted on her lips, giving a small flex to her mechanical arm, sparing the woman a small teasing wink. "Amur. Charming name, lovely. Eva," she returned, the name almost foreign on her tongue. It was... nice to have that name amongst the living once more, despite the cost of earning it again. To most, a Blood-Price was a heavy weight, but Skuld had never felt lighter than tonight.

Her smirk widened at Uhtred's attempt to identify her, a low rumbling laugh rolling past her lips as she grasped the man by his wavering arm, attempting to lift the man back to his feet. No matter how temporary that was.

If he did stand upright, she clapped him on the shoulder, drink and glass set aside and temporarily forgotten. The smile turned almost savage, and a glint of amusement gleamed in icy blue eyes. So this was a party, eh?

It would be by the time she was through.

At first, her voice was low. Quiet. But no less in its' intensity, spoken in Basic for those whose ears were not yet familiar with her language. She wasn't drunk, but if she set up her companion enough, he would really set off the mood. And perhaps then Morgan and Aeron would join. Zeltros was lovely in its' way, but too refined. Perhaps it was time to really change that up a bit, eh?

"Drink, for the wind blows cold and
Drink for The Wolf runs free
    ."

She grabbed up her glass once more, raising it to a toast to the crowds around them, her voice out loud and proud. She hardly cared who heard her, she began to stomp her foot down in time against the tempo of the bass in the bar, mirth flashing in icy eyes and the hard planes of her face.

"Drink to the ships with sails like wings and
    Drink to the storm-tossed seas.
    "

If no one else joined, she hardly cared. Tonight was a good night to let go; now Eva Stark was ready to party!

Aeron ordered a drink and awaited it's arrival as Morgan (@Pontus) revealed his intoxication. The gladiator's apologetic smile turned to a wry grin as the rogue threw back shots and began to pontificate. Morgan was as keen as they came and while his words skimmed the truth, his intent was far from pure. Sure, he wanted Aeron to relax and knock back a few drinks, but that's what he wanted all of the time.

The server droid returned and set Aeron's vodka on the table beside him. Morgan fell into his bard like storytelling, and Aeron scoffed taking another drag and replied, "This is why I won't let you fly my ship. " He punctuated his point with a plume of smoke and sip of liquor.

Morgan persisted, elaborating on his parable and Aeron rolled his eyes with amused irritation.

"So, basically you're telling me to ignore my inner turmoil and do drugs?" Aeron asked. He lifted his cup and took a sip.

Aeron laughed and conceded. "Fine, tonight if I'm to dance with the devil, I might as well lead." While they quipped back and forth a resounding BLANG! cut through the ambiance.

Aeron looked just in time to see Uhtred (@Korvo) tumble backward like a freshly fallen tree. Shocked confusion colored his expression as he processed the scene. The freshly dented pole told the gladiator everything he needed to know as he rose to his feet with a bark of laughter. Morgan recommended joining their friend and Aeron excitedly agreed, "Looks like we've some catching up to do."

Aeron ordered two Reactor Cores as they reached the crowd beginning to form around the downed deucalian. Uhtred seemed to be without his wits as he slurred something nearly incomprehensible. Aeron took his drink from the serverdroid and handed one to Morgan saying, "As always Uhtred leads the charge."

He gave the woman Uhtred referred to as Shark (@Killa Ree) a friendly nod in greeting just before she began to sing. Once again perplexity washed over his expression. While Aeron could navigate small talk and general bar behavior, the sudden musical proclamation had him shook.

Aeron awkwardly shifted his attention to the dance floor taking a drink as he skimmed the crowed. As his targetless gaze accidentally met another's (@Logan) and recognition blossomed upon his face. Not wanting to intrude on Aaday's current situation he simply lifted his glass and smiled in greeting. Then promptly considered she probably didn't remember him at all and that he most likely looked like a creep just oogling random people across the dance floor.

    Great...

A strong, hearty set of laughs escaped the fair-haired merc's mouth. Aeron, though mild-mannered he may be, tended to give as good as he got. It was probably why these two got along so well to begin with. "Oh ye of lit-"

A loud, dull thud echoed through the room, reaching Morgan's ears, and the man's head snapped to it, just in time to catch Uhtred on the ground and the scene before him.

It was clear by Aeron's response that the Stormborn had fought valiantly but the pole had won out, in the end. One of Arcas's eyebrows raised, quizzically, unsure of how to respond to the situation, and a little saddened for the timing. He was about to deliver yet another fantastical speech unto Mathis. To attempt to revive in him a sense of wonderment, poetry and romance. In essence, all the ways the merc relied on to justify his questionable lifestyle.

His moment of surprise and was cut short by Aeron's remark on 'catching up'. The patented mischievous grin tore through once again, and just like that he was back in business. Following the gladiator, Morgan spotted Eva, who he greeted with a wink. He'd met this woman before in Ando Prime. She could be odd, at times, but genuinely felt like fun to be around. Beside her was a figure he didn't know. Her mask meant she wasn't one of them, so he did not pay her much mind.

By the time the Deucalian matriarch had started singing, Arcas felt glad that he had kept his 'Hello' brief, not wanting to be dragged into singing a tune he'd never heard before in his life. This had Deucalian written all over it, and as soon as he made that connection, his eyes shot to Uhtred who had seemed to recognise him and Mathis, albeit barely. Really, all the merc wanted to see was how this man who was so close to being out for the count would react to his people's songs. If there was one thing Morgan knew, it was drinkers, and this lot had 'singing drunks' written all over them.

The fair-haired rogue gracefully took the Reactor Core Aeron had offered into his free hand - the other still holding an empty glass and a partly-filled bottle - and quipped back. "That's why he's the expert."

Out of the corner of his eye, the Corellian-born caught Mathis's little toast, as well as the embarrassment that followed. When he was confident Aeron would not see, snuck a glance at the intended target, and was surprised. He wouldn't mention a thing, of course, but felt happy for his friend.

And, in this strange moment, surrounded by a singing woman, a perfect stranger, and a fallen drunk, Morgan raised his drink to his lips to hide a knowing smile and thought to himself as he took a sip: As long as you're chasing something.

Aadya couldn't help but smile at the apparent innocence of her cousin. She'd never really seen someone be starstruck before, and it never really occurred to her before right now that she and the company she kept was actually considered.. famous by most of the people in the galaxy - or at least by the ones that watched trash TV on the holonet.

"Oh yes, Zandrali is hella cool. She's my best friend, actually." Aadya couldn't help but notice that Drali had sneaked off and started talking to some... pink dude. As much as she tried or didn't want it to, she couldn't help but feel a little bit of jealousy creep up into her chest. It was a strange feeling and not one she was used to. Normally Aadya was the one making others jealous. My, how the turn tables.

"Hey, you have at least one cool friend Vesna. Me!" Aadya said jokingly. "Just stick with me kiddo and I think you'll have all the 'cool' you can handle." Absentmindedly scanning the crowd, Aadya's eyes randomly found someone else she knew, who appeared to have spotted her as well and was giving her a little wave. "Come on, I'll introduce you to one of my other friends who's pretty cool." She said, grabbing Vesna's hand and leading her off towards Aeron.

Heading over towards Aeron, Aadya couldn't help but notice the set of sweet kicks on his feet. "Heyy, look at you. Finally found yourself some shoes, eh?" Aadya said with a smile. Almost forgetting she was with someone else, Aadya motioned towards Vesna. "This is my cousin Vesna. we're both looking to have a bit of fun tonight. Although I have to say, I'm surprised to see you in a place like this. What brings you out?

Aadya swiped a few more drinks off a passing server droid, handing one to Vesna and offering another to Aeron. Taking hers, she downed it in one go. She was starting to feel a little buzzed, which was usually a sign the night was about to get truly lit.
