Hutts Smugglers and Gangs Oh My

Hutt space, the true epicenter of crime and villainy in the galaxy. For ages it has thrived and prospered as such, untouchable by the other powers in the galaxy, by necessity, bribery, or even exertion. Even the Republic and the Jedi were unable or unwilling to make a dent in the criminal region, ignoring or tolerating it like everyone else. This has changed of late however, as the Army of Light has obtained a strong foothold on the region, Nar Shaddaa. Having gained a new, more thorough, view on the area, the Jedi received an influx of startling new reports on what goes on in Hutt Space. Faced with numerous instances of murder, kidnapping, and worse, even towards their own agents, the Council has moved for the Order to return to its roots. To act once more as the protectors of peace and justice in the galaxy. Accordingly, a small task force has been split off from the war effort and directed into Nar Shaddaa and its surroundings systems. Their orders are to tame the area, and all its inhabitants, especially the Hutts.

Note: These missions are critical to the Jedi’s war efforts. Please start the mission within 48 hours, and try your best to complete the mission within 2 weeks. If the mission is abandoned or uncompleted this will deeply affect the faction. If you need a replacement partner contact the leadership team. The missions need to be 15 posts long, with multiple paragraphs in the post.

Based on Nar Shaddaa, truly the smuggling capital of the galaxy, is one of the most notorious Independent Drug Gangs of all time, the Emerald Vipers. For years this gang has flourished in the center of Hutt Space as buyer, producer, and transporter for all comers. They've worked for the Hutts, they've worked for the Sith, they've worked for the Republic. They WILL NOT work for the Jedi. Unfortunately, their organization stretches far, and employs many, and nothing less than a blow to the head will kill this snake. Luckily, anonymous tips have informed us that the heads of the gang are meeting this week, Discover and disrupt that meeting with all haste, preferably with stun rifles and handcuffs. Capture the leaders and bring them in to face trial, with this we can hopefully strike a powerful blow to the drug trade, and send a strong warning to any potentially similar organizations. Their headquarters are known to be somewhere in the Undercity, and while we don't know the precise location. We DO know that members of the gang have been taking to walking boldly around in shiny Emerald Viper armor.

    Follow the Blood-Spattered Brick Road

Suprisingly, we've recently received an official communication from the Hutts on Nal Hutta, a call for aide. Borng and Keeta, two younger aspiring Hutts, just starting to move up in the world , were found dead in their palaces a few days ago. While this is certainly troubling on it lonesome, what drew particular interest to this case, was the "collateral damage" as the Hutts put it. Every member of the household, servants, slaves, guards, all were found indiscriminately killed alongside their masters. From the security footage, what they'll show us at least, we know the culprit is a single individual hooded entirely in black, and that he is extremely skilled with blasters, knives, and even poison. So far, the Hutts have been unable to catch this man themselves, and have apparently lost scores of bounty hunters trying. He hasn't stopped killing either and every day the Hutt patrols discover more bodies in their swamps. Sufficiently scared, the great Hutt families have requested help from the Order, and, for the sake of innocents, we shall oblige. Find and stop this murderer at all costs.

    NOT Your Pretties
    [IMG]

A disgusting and abhorrent practice, slave trading has long been a stable in the Criminal World. Luckily, we have before us, a golden opportunity to make it less staple. Whilst researching for the other missions, our agents have discovered that a shipment of slaves is due for arrival on Nal Hutta aboard a rusty old Marauder class frigate called the GREEN SLIPPER. We've sent the coordinates and expected time of arrival for the shipment. Intercept, disable, and capture that craft, but remember, above all, to secure its cargo safely. Freedom and death, are most definitely not equal in the slaves eyes. We shall show the Hutts, right in front of their noses, that their criminal acts and barbarism will no longer be tolerated. To complete this mission, we have placed two Sabre Class Corvettes under your command, which should be more than enough to overwhelm the GREEN SLIPPER and whatever force escorts it.

    The Not So Cowardly Cathar
    [IMG]

The above photo, is a picture of the Cathar mercenary known simply as Otot. The picture was taken by one of our informers on Nar Shaddaa who was in the area to catalogue possible threats to the Jedi Presence in the area and known ruffians. We have since lost contact with the informer, and have received word of his head being mounted on a stick outside an undercity Cantina. Many accounts have confirmed Otot's presence in the cantina, along with many drunken boasts about his "defeat of a Jedi assassin" and more threats towards "all those crybaby monks." Go to the cantina, arrest Otot, and do your best to recover our informer's remains. Be cautious, as we know little of Otot's capabilities, and the Cantina in question is known as being anti-Jedi.

The Wicked Slug of the East
    [IMG]

Teth, vacation world of the Huts, is fulfilling its role once more. This time, its the Hutt known as Ozzle, a elderly leader who has his pudgy fingers in all corners of the criminal world. He has been linked to multiple instances of assassination, kidnapping, grand theft, corruption and numerous other staples of the underworld. While unconfirmed, its also believed he is one of the Blue Vipers biggest clients and that the soon to be intercepted shipment to Nal Hutta may in fact be his. Taking him down will strike a strong blow to the Hutt families, and send no greater message of intolerance about the transgressions they commit. With such goals and facts in mind, this opportunity cannot and will not be wasted. Unfortunately, his compound, while more vulnerable than his usual home, is heavily guarded and secured. We do know its location however, and have sent several aerial photos for you to plan your approach. Take whatever you require and arrest this slug with all due prejudice.

The Good Noble of the West

Toydaria has been a victim of internal conflict of late, politically split regarding the Jedi's new intrusion into nearby territory. Great and respected leaders have spoken up on both sides, and the King is still trying to decide on an official course of action. Unfortunately, one of the most notable Jedi sympathizers, a respected noble named Tinsman, has abruptly vanished. Even worse, it was before making his, sure to be influential, speech to the King. All signs point to an underground group of Toydarians who have been working to vilify and undermine the Jedi on Toydaria. While its known they are based within the capital, Toydor, the other sympathizers have been unsuccessful at finding any other leads. Desperate, they have reached out to the Jedi for help in this matter, and we are all to happy to oblige. Go, find Tinsman, and deliver him safety to the throne room in time for his speech.
