Five months. Five months passed since the Trandoshan got betrayed by that bastard of his second in command and captured by Old Empire forces, and threw him in that prison hidden in an asteroid belt around Geonosis. That coward of a Rodian turned him in at the first occasion he could, and made sure that all Mephetch's belongings were kept safely somewhere in the prison. Seeing the customized vibroblade he made, the prison overseer had the idea of employing him at a workshop for the high officials and visitors of the prison, even putting a slave collar on him to make sure he worked.
It was a day like the other, and as every 'morning', the speaker in the cell he shared with other three people croaked: "PRISONER TWO-SEVEN-THREE-THREE-FIVE, GET TO THE ENTRANCE OF YOUR CELL TO START YOUR WORK!" The big reptilian groaned and stood up, stretching as his back cracked lightly. He was wearing a too small orange prison suit that had some tears where his ridges were. "Alright, alright, I'm coming" he sighed and got to the prison's force field that worked as entrance, where four guards were already waiting for him. One of them chuckled: "Ya know, it's your lucky day my friend, today you're going to make some custom blaster for some Sith lord from what I heard" and the other three just glared at him. "Shut up dumbass, you know that we're supposed to not tell him his jobs!" an another guard hissed at him. He winced and and apologized. As usual, the guards were all humans, equipped with heavy armour, stun guns and stun batons in case he tried to escape, and one of them held in his hands the too-familiar slave collar. "Oh come on guysss, is that really necesssary? I learned the lessson, I have to obey!" the Trandoshan spoke in Basic with a slight but clear lisp, making the four men laugh softly. "It's for safety reason lizard, especially after all the times you already tried to run away" one of the guards said while turning off the forcefield and grabbing the Trandoshan by the hips. Other two guards held him firmly while the last one applied the collar, and gave him a test shock to see if it works, making the Trandoshan wince for the guards' amusement, and they then walked away with him after closing back the cell.
A few minutes later, they arrived to a room which had all the equipment a good weaponsmith like him needed, and instructed him on his new assignment: he had to create a customized version of a particular blaster pistol for a Sith lord that had come to visit the prison right for that. They gave him a ZA-13 blaster pistol and then locked him in the room with a pair of guards. He examined the gun, humming thoughtfully, and then started to tinker on it, disassembling the gun and modifying some components to apparently give it a higher firepower and of course a better cooling system to compensate. He then painted the gun a pitch black and put the symbol of the Sith order on both sides of the gun's handle. Once done, he reassembled the pistol and put it on a tray to make the paint dry up. While he worked, the guards observed his job, time by time commenting in awe on how it was possible that such a big lizard could do such precision works. In fact, Mephetch did have some issues in doing so, but with some patience and calm he managed to do his job perfectly. After a couple of hours, the blaster was ready to be given to its owner. He took it and aimed it at a nearby dummy to try it, and the result - a single bullet managed to blast off the dummy's whole head - definitely satisfied the Trandoshan, who proudly gave the weapon to the officer who had to oversee his job. The officer smiled: "Excellent job 27335, I'll make sure that the extra ration of food for completed jobs is given when it's lunchtime. Now take him back to his cell" he ordered at the guards, who nodded and took him away.
A few minutes later, he was in his sell with his inmates, laying on a bunk bed and looking at the ceiling, thinking.

(Wanna be one of these inmates and future crewmember? Just ask me and we'll see!)

Hask was standing in the command centre of the maximum security prison. He had been sent to inspect the facility, make sure it was running at maximum efficiency and report back to the leadership of the Old Empire. Simple enough mission, also a welcome break from all the training, fighting and conspiring he was busy with back on Korriban.

This facility housed almost all of the Empire's most dangerous criminals. But between all the criminals, traitors, mass murderers and overall degenerates, one degenerate in particular stood out for him.

His eyes were glued on the monitor displaying a very large trandoshan being escorted to a room filled with some of the most advanced tools, equipment and materials in the Outer Rim with the potential of creating weapons of mass destruction. This Trandoshan proved his theory correct when he modified a simple blaster pistol to the point where it more than doubled the power output, blowing away the provided target dummy's head completely.

He moved towards a console and typed on it, bringing up the prisoner's profile.

"27335...I'm not even going to try and pronounce that name. Either way, this guy's dangerous. How he hasn't been executed yet is beyond me. Though I have to admit, he's got talent." he thought to himself as he read through the file.

He watched further as the Trandoshan was escorted back to his cell and laid back down on his bunk.

Although he couldn't exactly place it, something felt off. About the Trandoshan, about the prison, hell just about everything felt off for him today. Something is going to happen. Something bad, and it's not that far from now...

He turned to the Warden that was sitting behind the control desk in the middle of the room.

"Warden, I want the guard for today doubled. Especially around that prisoner." he said, pointing to the monitor displaying the Trandoshan. "And tell your men to be on guard. Something's off. I can feel it..." he said and turned back around to face the monitor.

Even if it didn't look like it, the Trandoshan had been setting up his escape since a month ago or so. He tried multiple times to escape, and once he almost managed to get to the hangar where his seized ship was, but every time the guards managed to either stun or put him to sleep with sleep darts. That was pretty frustrating for him, but he knew that escaping alone was almost impossible. Many of the prison's "guests" knew him for his rather spectacular attempts of escape, and the youngest ones looked at him like a sort of legend or anyway someone that needs respect, and even the worst criminals looked at him with a bit of fear. Maybe it was because he was the only Trandoshan in the prison, maybe it was his imposing presence, Mephetch wasn't sure.

Harrison paced around the security room. He had been here for only a few weeks, and it already felt like years. The inmates were disgusting, horrible, vile creatures. The worst of the worst. He glanced around the room, and remembered there was a Sith acolyte present in the room. Hask Jen was sent here to observe the operations, much like Harrison himself. Now that Harrison was aligned with the Old Empire and had transferred to the ISB, he was not feeling any anger towards the OE sith. Harrison watched as the sith approached a console and typed something, while muttering. While technically both Harrison and Hask were of equal rank, Harrison was in charge of surveillance. Harrison didn't care what the Sith was doing, it was up to him. However, he walked over and said, "Hello, Harrison Fletch, Lieutenant of surveillance, I am from the Imperial Security Bureau. I see you have taken a interest in Prisoner 27335? If you would like i could have some arrangements made to have you two meet?" Harrison smiled sarcastically.

Hask turned around and looked at the agent standing in front of him.

"Nice to meet you, Agent Fletch. I was just checking his file, how he isn't on death roll is beyond me..." He said, turning back to the monitor.

"I am definitely considering that offer, I can promise you. Saying he's interesting would be the understatement of the year."

That feeling gnawed in the back of his mind. something was off...

"You know what, let's do it. See what you can do to arrange a meeting. I'm confident you can hold the fort up here while I'm down there." he said as he picked his helmet up from a nearby table and slid it onto his head, throwing the hood over it to complete his outfit.

"When I get back, I'd also very much like to discuss the ISB with you, if that's alright?" he said as he finished with the hood of his robes.

"Shall we?" he asked the agent cheerfully as the helmet's lights reflected off the agent's face.

It was late evening when the guards arrived at Mephetch's cell. "Hey lizard, someone wants to pay you a visit. Get over here and don't do suspicious things" one said, and the Trandoshan stood up and got to them. As they took him out, they cuffed his wrists and ankles so he won't run, and escorted him along a long series of corridors Mephetch recognized as the ones that got to the guest room, which was not too far from the hangar. He gave a low sigh and mumbled something in Dosha, like a prayer to the Scorekeeper

Harrison nodded. "Alright lets go check out how tough this guy is made of, can't hurt to have a word." Harrison walked out as the door slid closed behind him, Hask following. Before leaving, Harrision had made sure to have the agent second in command let him know if anything important happened. They took the turbolift down, and arrived at the prisoner ground where the prisoner was waiting in the guest room.

As Mephetch saw mr. Fletch, he chuckles. "Lieutenant Fletch, what a pleasssure. Who'sss paying me a visssit after all thessse monthsss? Oh, pleassse tell me that it'sss that bassstard of a Rodian who'sss begging me to pardon him for what he did to me" he said with a slight hopeful grin. The Trandoshan was alone in the room without any guards, given that the sturdy durasteel door that led in the room could be locked only from the outside.

"Hate to burst your bubble, but sadly it's not him coming to see you." Hask said jokingly as he stepped into view of the Trandoshan.

"Sadly, you're going to have to settle with me" he quipped up.

"Meph...Me...oh to hell with it, Prisoner number 27335 I have a few questions for you, if you don't mind giving me a few minutes of your time. Then you can go back to your very busy schedule of sleeping and tinkering." he spoke, a little annoyed at the difficulty of the Trandoshan's name.

He turned back to the agent.
"That'll be all, Agent Fletch. I can take it from here, thanks."

    "May I?"
he asked the prisoner as he gestured to the chair by his table.

He couldn't help but chuckled at the Sith's pronunciation issues. "You can call me Meph, or captain, if you prefer" he said with a bit of a snarky tone, his Basic a bit with an accent. "How ssshall I call you, missster Sssith?" he asked, and simply nodded to let him sit.

He took a seat across the reptilian. "Just call me Hask. And forgive me, Meph, but shouldn't you have a ship to be called a captain?" he fired back at the prisoner with a snarky comment of his own.

"So tell me, where did you learn to build and modify weapons like that with such ease? I must confess, I'm quite astonished as to how you can manage such delicate jobs with...hands like that, without the use of the force." he said as he gestured towards the Trandoshan's absurdly large hands.

Hask boomed with laughter."Hehe, and why would I do that, pray-tell? Let's just ignore the fact that I can assemble and disassemble a lightsaber blindfolded without the use of the force. Doing something like that is not only highly illegal, but extremely dangerous as well. Why would I want to play this little game of yours?" he said to the lizard, knowing fully well that he is smart enough to catch the double meaning in his sentences.

Hask decided to humor the lizard. No way in hell he'll be fast enough to take the sith on anyway, even with his own weapon.
Besides, what harm could come from learning a trick or two from a fellow craftsman...

He unclipped the lightsaber and held it up for the prisoner."And how do you expect to get to that ship of yours in the first place?" he asked as he held the lightsaber in front of the Trandoshan with the force.

In case you didn't notice, you're in the centre of one of the most secluded and heavily guarded prisons in the entire galaxy. Not to mention, you're locked in here with me..."

He gave the lightsaber a close look, humming pensively. "Hm, interesting design... I could apply it on some vibrosword hilts... Or I could just attempt to make my own lightfoils or sabers" he thought aloud in Dosha, then slowly stretched a hand towards the lightsaber, looking at the Sith like to ask if he could take it. He then chuckled at the Sith's remark. "And who sssaid that I wanted to essscape huh? "You're going to have a very difficult time to make your own lightsabers if that was your idea." he said with a chuckle.
"Lightsabers aren't just some clumsy weapon smacked together in a few minutes, there's a lot of precision materials in there...along with a vert, very rare crystal."

"And don't give me that crap, we both know you're planning to escape. Your record states as much if it's anything to go by. You're probably going through all of your options right now. Scanning me, the room, anything and everything that could give you a way out."
his voice grew more urgent and stern with every word as he spoke. Formalities and jokes were all thrown out of the window, now it's on to business.

Hask flew up from his chair and leaned in to face the Trandoshan eye to eye.
"What are you planning" he spoke softly but heavily to the lizard.

The Trandoshan gave a soft "meep!" of surprise as the Sith got so... uncomfortably close to his face. For a few quite awkward moments he remained silent... and then attempted to give the Sith a HARD punch in his jaw!

He suspected that the lizard would try something...just not so quickly.
Hard bone and scale met with solid durasteel as the Trandoshan's massive fist collided with his helmet.
The helmet held up, absorbing most of the blow.

    Most.

The blow was still hard enough to make his head recoil from the blow, dazing the Sith and sending him spiraling to the ground.

    This lizard was quick.
