Arial opened the small mirror in her purse and looked over her 'disguise' for tonight. It wasn't a very cheap look to put off, but thankfully her armory of clothes had paid off once again. If nothing else, she was happy with how her hair came out, clearly she hadn't lost her touch in those areas. The speeder outside of the rental room she and Soran had booked for the past few days was waiting for the two to get a move on, but she didn't feel the need to rush; their target didn't arrive at the palace for another hour and a half. She set the small mirror down, looking to the larger one that hung rather nicely over the sink of the refresher room. She amused herself with gauging Soran's reaction, wondering how the padawan would react to her actually dressing up for once. He had hints of it of course, but this was probably the most work she had put into looking 'good'; partly for him, but also because the mission required her to be able to garner attention.

It was a rather simple mission of course, namely nab the greedy bastard who was black mailing the Banking Clan and 'extract' his associates from him. The target was a pompous little man by the name of Gato Salvadoria, who had a serious thing for gambling. It had taken Arial a good bit of time and far more credits than she would admit, but with her padawan helper at her side, she had found his little circle of friends here on this crime ridden world. She didn't expect this to be a difficult job to pull off, after all, Soran would be with her for most of it, she just needed to get Gato alone in a suite and...well...'extract' the information from him.

Feeling that her appearance was adequate for the assignment facing them, she stowed her small mirror in her purse, before finally leaving the refresher behind. Opening the door, she would seek out Soran, and let him know that she was finally ready to go. She would give a disarming smile, placing a hand on her hip, her head canted to the side. "So, master jedi, how do I look?" They were still edging out where their relationship fell, but Arial was feeling more and more comfortable with the idea of a more serious relationship. This current mission would provide a good testing ground for that at least.

Soran stared out the windows of the rental room he and Arial had been sharing on Nar Shaddaa for the past few days. As much as the upper city was pleasant to look at with all its bright coloured lights, it was really just a thing coat of paint to hide away the grime underneath.

Nar Shaddaa was a cesspit of most of what was wrong and twisted in the galaxy, Soran’s own parents had dealt with the “Smuggler’s Moon” on more than one occasion but it had remained one of the few locations that even as he was being taught to help out, the young Soran had never been allowed to step foot out of the ship.

Still there was little he could do about this planet, or Hutt Space in general, for now he would focus on the mission.

The young man wore a simple but refined outfit that Arial had picked out for him, the Padawan learner had no real notion of how to dress for formal social events, the closest had been the clothes Nix Panith had picked out for him when Soran had worked as his assigned bodyguard. Still it was a nice and effective outfit, black jacket and trousers with a white shirt, black dress shoes to match. Still the jacket was ample enough the young man could tuck his lightsaber inside without it bulging or being noticeable.

As he heard the sound of the refresher room door open and close Soran turned away from the windows and looked at Arial as she stepped in the main part of the room, asking Soran’s opinion on how she looked.

Of course to Soran she was beautiful, at this point the young Jedi had done his utmost to commit everything about Arial to memory, both her life and words as well as every mark and curve of her body. Yet to see in her such a completely different look and environment simply renewed his mind’s craving for more memories of her.

    “You look stunning.”
Soran was still not a man of many words, he could at least tell the woman to whom he was probably the closest to in the entire galaxy how he felt and what he thought honestly without tripping on his words or being ashamed. As for if Arial really believed him or simply thought him to be flattering or lovestruck he could not know, as he made a point not to intrude on her mind or feelings like she asked.

“Should we go then?” Soran added as he approached Arial. “Otherwise I might have to try and convince you to take off the dress and we’ll have to get ready all over again.” Added the young man, clearly half joking. This was probably the biggest influence that Arial has had on Soran. While he could hardly luster something akin to humour before, spending extended periods of time with Arial had given him some semblance of snark, though mostly only with her and by no means a witty and sharp tongued individual by any stretch of the imagination.

"You're not so bad yourself." She replied, though her checks reddened just a tad from his compliment. His reaction only enabled the smile on her way to widen, as a very satisfied Arial moved closer to her favorite padawan. She was all the more appreciative of the outfit she had gotten for him now. "I think we should, because as entertaining as that suggestion is we have work to do." She spoke, moving past him, but not before linking her arm with is. This was certainly a change of pace for things, but for the most part Arial was enjoying it. "Leave your toys here, we won't be able to get them in the casino, not that we'll need them anyways." She advised, though she herself would have really wanted to keep a vibroknife on her there was just no practical way to bring it with her.

As the pair would leave their room, beginning their walk down to the lobby, Arial would continue speaking with her date for the evening. "I'm rather excited about this whole ordeal, and I can't exactly fathom why." She said, looking up to her jedi escort. "Perhaps it's from being in your proximity." She reasoned, pulling herself just a tad closer for a moment before retreating. Soran had brought a certain energy into her life that for the most part she had been lacking, she couldn't deny that fact. Perhaps it was the fact that someone else saw her as valuable, and how that made her feel, or perhaps it was the more simple fact that she didn't need to put up a front around him. She and Hask had a fling long ago, but those never made her feel like how Soran did currently. It was confusing. As the pair walked through the lobby, making their way outside to where their luxury speeder rental waited, a well dressed man emerged from the front of the speeder and rushed around to the back, opening the door for the pair to enter. "Evening Madam and Sir, I will be your driver for this evening." He spoke rather elegantly, which paired with his attire, it showed that the Casino they were heading to spared no expense.

Arial smiled at the padawan, kissing him on the cheek before climbing into the speeder. The pair would find it was rather spacious, with them being separated from the driver by a transparent screen of glass. After the pair were settled, their driver would close the door and get back into the drivers seat, as he would begin to ferry them to their destination.

Soran gave a resigned nod when Arial told him to leave his Lightsaber behind. He had to admit he felt naked without it, while he could argue the point that he was more than capable to get it past any real security the casino would have, the young man did not feel like it. Perhaps learning to get by without a lightsaber would not be a bad skill to have either, should he ever lose it or it be damaged or destroyed in a mission having other skills to fall back on would certainly not be bad things to have.

As the couple walked arm in arm through the hallways of the hotel, Soran could not help to grin slightly at Arial's comment about her own excitement from doing this with him specifically. The young felt her holding him closer for a moment before stepping back again. Arial must still have been somewhat confused regarding her feelings, not that Soran could claim a clear understanding of his own. He had simply admitted to him, and to her, that he had fallen in love with her. It had just happened, but it felt like a simple matter of fact. Still it would be best to keep focus on the night's objective.

As the two reached the outside of their hotel, they were greeted by a nicely dressed human in some sort of a uniform that greeted them as their driver. Clearly Arial had gone through hoops for their covers to get this mission going as smoothly as possible.

Soran's cheeks reddened a bit as Arial kissed him on the cheek before stepping into the back of the luxury speeder. The young Jedi did wonder sometimes if his lover truly felt ambivalence about their relationship or if she just enjoyed riling him up.

Soran followed after his companion into the back of the spacious speeder and the chauffeur, closed the doors and sat himself in his own seat at the front of the vehicle. the take off was smooth, the luxurious vehicle having been designed for the smoothest of rides as opposed to great speed.

The padawan took in the scenery, both the city outside and the beautiful woman sat next to him. He smiled at the latter. "To think some people live like that every day." As he was one to do Soran stared into Arial's large green eyes. "It is a nice dream isn't it? Though I suppose we would get bored of it eventually."

It was true the two were not used to everyday comfort and carefree lives, they were both people forged by dire circumstances and hardships who had built lives that were rather more adventurous than stable. yet it was a lovely thought for a but a few minutes as they travelled to the casino to imagine this just being an everyday occurrence in some fantasy carefree life.

A few minutes would pass before the illusion would have to break. "Let's go over the plan one last time. Where will the target be and what is our in with him? And finally what do we do with him once we have him in our hands?" The two had gone over their plans several times since arriving on Nar Shaddaa but there was no such thing as over planning in Soran's experience so going over everything one final time was probably the best option before they arrived at the casino.

Arial was rather amused by the whole ordeal, especially now that she was in a speeder being taken to the location of their target for tonight's activities. Arial gave the lights and cityscape outside a quick glance, before looking to Soran, only to find he was looking back at her as well. "I've been with those people. Their entire lives are boring, because they can do whatever they want, they just don't know when or how to do it." Then again, that was the rich and rather bratty nobles of the Sith Empire, though she couldn't help but feel that the same was true for folks that lived here was well.

Arial personally would have been more than happy to not have any connection to this sort of life, she lived it briefly in the empire, and while she enjoyed it back then, the current her would not have longed for it nor sought it out. She wanted a quiet existence doing whatever she felt was important, and if Soran was willing to tag along that would be nice too. When the padawan asked for what the plan was, Arial smiled and leaned on him, as she would go into detail once more. "Alright, so here's the plan," Arial started, looking up to Soran with that look she got whenever she got excited. "So, our target is one Gizmo Razmal. He's a wretched little thing, looks more like a Gamorean than a human. Very unpleasant man. However, he's also the guy who is throwing alot of credits towards our friend on Muunilinst. Gizmo seems to think that if he can pressure the Banking Clan to fire some higher ups, then he can buy out their stock and get ahold of the company." Arial paused, letting Soran process what she had just said. It was alot to take in, it had taken her several days to process it herself.

"So, the plan is to find him and 'convince' him that maybe he shouldn't go after the Banking Clan. I'm thinking if we get him drunk and into a suite, I can use my 'negotiation' skills."
Arial shrugged, thinking of how she could scare the hell out of a rich fat cat like Gizmo, but she was sure Soran could lend a hand in that department; though he'd have to bloody his knuckles a bit.

Soran nodded as he listened to the plan, it all sounded fine to him, getting to the man and getting him to lower his guard should not be too difficult between the two of them. It was the final part that made the young Jedi frown a bit. The idea of Arial torturing someone was unpleasant to say the least, not just to him but he knew that she did not like doing this type of work either.

"Perhaps we will find other ways to persuade him. Some people can go to great lengths to not have humiliations and dirty laundry aired out to the public." Soran raised his eyebrows at Arial, hoping she would at least keep an open mind to the idea of looking for an alternative before going for a more aggressive method of "negotiations".

"I just don't want you to do something you'll regret." Soran did his best not to sound too worried about the idea. They had both agreed to keep their relationship professional when working and so Soran would. The truth was he would have second thoughts about certain forms of interrogations regardless of his feelings for his partner. So the Padawan did his best to express his opinion without making it sound it was just about their personal lives, though it was more than likely he would not have felt so strongly about it were the two of them not in a relationship.

Soran would be quiet and listen to Arial's reply, not pushing any further either way. She had organized this whole mission so the last say went to her. The young man would simply have to live with her decision and get his game face on, making sure to put on the air of their semi-fake cover identities for the night. Once the speeder would slow and be ready to park by the casino entrance the two would have to act not like a mercenary and a Jedi but as a happy go lucky couple intent on wasting their seemingly endless amount of credits.

Arial could see the padawan's dislike for her suggestion of 'convincing' their target into dropping his case, and it brought a smile out of her. Then the jedi lecture followed, and she knew well enough that he was concerned she was crossing a line. She appreciated that kindness from the padawan, though at times she felt rather silly that the young man was trying to give her life advice. "I don't disagree master jedi, I have no intentions of hurting the man, but I'm concerned he may try and put up a fight and require us to subdue him, but...torture isn't on the table." She commented, knowing what the padawan would follow with.

"I just don't want you to do something you'll regret." Her smile widened at his concern, her little moral compass that he was, as she gave his hand a quick squeeze. She appreciated him for that, though she wasn't sure if he knew how much she valued that about him. He made her feel like she was worth something to somebody, which to a woman who felt she had failed her life purpose was quite alot. "That's sweet of you, but you have no need to worry. This will be extremely mild, especially compared to my olden days." She reaffirmed, wanting Soran to know that he had nothing to worry about tonight. They'd get the target, get what they needed, and maybe even have some fun after this was all done. As the speeder slowed and began to come in for a landing, Arial straightened her posture, knowing their escort would be letting them out shortly. Sure enough, as they touched down and the finely dressed man opened the door to let the pair out into the magnificent casino before them, she kept herself close to her padawan date for the night, as several other high roller figures were in the process of making their way into the casino, climbing a staircase that was draped with the finest fabric money could buy. She wondered if this is what being 'wealthy' felt like. She didn't have much experience with it, but from her brief attempts to act the part she got glimpses of such a thing. She leaned onto Soran and spoke as they would begin their walk into the casino. "Come on darling, let's make tonight a night to remember." She muttered, knowing that no matter what happened, at least they would enjoy their time together for tonight.
