Kuat - What a horrid place the planet had become. F2O2 stood on top of an office building that was currently having its occupants, furniture, and assorted materials moved out by labor droids. Nobody had even glanced at him as he'd climbed the stairs to the roof access and let himself up. The business had gone under due to the recent economic downswing caused by the freaking shipyard being bombed into oblivion. The single largest employer on the planet had suffered the worst corporate tragedy in living memory. Fragments of the Drive Yards were still occasionally lighting up the sky at night as they fell to the planet. The suicides hadn't quite stopped yet either.

So here F2 was, leaning against a roof-mounted HVAC unit, peering though a pair of macronoculars. He peered down a windswept street at an old, three-story browncrete, home of one Soma Vhan. She was the ex-wife of Theron. The cause of the divorce wasn't clear in the public records, but F2 was betting on the whole going traitor thing being part of it. He was attempting to discern a habit of hers. When she left in the morning, when she came home in the evening, when she went to bed, woke up, all of that. Then he could either interrogate her on where Theron might be located, or kidnap her and use her as bait to lure Theron into a trap or submission.

Of course, she was his ex-wife, but that was a detail F2 could overcome. His circuits were processing the problem as he stood there. The sun hung low in the sky, and cast orange and pink hues across the clouds. It would be dark soon, and F2 would have enough data on Soma to decide on a course of action. It was odd. Normally he wouldn't bounty hunt, but the reward for this guy's capture alive was astronomical. The materials he could acquire nudged the associated risks of a Bounty hunt into the "totally worth it" value. It was simple finance. The earlier he was able to invest value into his goals, the more valuable that investment would be in the future.

Moving In and Getting into Position

The briefing was simple, move in secure the area of operation and take the woman into custody. If her ex-husband was there, they would be ready for him, and they had the orders to kill on sight. The men were ready to carry out such orders, to continue to see their Empire prosper, to burn out the various nests of rebel and terrorist swine that had cropped up throughout the galaxy.

"Standard formation, Trayzen take point, the rest behind me..linear formation, left hand on the left shoulder. Move in and sweep the home." Malo responded in a stern voice, his blue eyes gazing upon his men.

They made their way towards the front of the home, the men in a single line formation, weapons drawn and scanning the yard and street that swept in front of the house. "This is Caran Malo of the Imperial Republica, we have a warrant to search your home.." He called out towards the house, but there was nothing.

He tapped on Trayzen's shoulder, and glanced back towards the others, "Prepare for a breach, weapons free."

    A rogue agent.

A fugitive on the run from the Empire.

A lonely woman, set apart from her criminal husband.

That was what the briefing had said, and that was what Joseph Trazyn had chosen to believe. Working with his squad, they had been issued a warrent to detain, and bring in the errant Moffs spouse. Theres was not to reason why.

Enclosed in his Sith Trooper Armour, he kept his silence, his normal gear augmented with two flash-bang grenades for the occasion, awaiting for the leader of their squadron to give futher orders. Reaffirming his grip on his rifle, he took the safety off, and prepared for further actions, approaching the house of the Moffs wide, as their warrent was presented, and heading inside.

    "Weapons Free."

The instruction was a clear one. At the front of the formation, Joseph's job was simple - breach the door, begin the sweep.

Being rather flimsy, and not built for security, the door would come off with one shot to the lock, and a swift kick. Both of which he did, chucking a flash-bang into the room, looking away whilst it went off.

"Breach!" he shouted, storming the room...

Tail-end Charlie, a role Drake fell into naturally with his battlefield experience, observation skills and quick wit. He was looking out for people tailing them as they moved towards the entrance. He kept a wide arc of fire as the warrant was executed.

He heard the stage-whisper command, the thud of the door being breached, the pause and finally the blast of the grenade.

On that explosion, the training would kick in. An action they had drilled and drilled. The majority of the squad would move in behind the scout and immediately split left and right to control the perimeter of the compound. This would leave the scout, the commander and him, the tail-end Charlie to close in and execute.

During this process, he would instinctively reload to a fresh magazine. This would be unnecessary as he hasn't fired a shot, but would reassure him he had one full magazine in the housing and three spares.

Raz had been busy with building up her clan, entirely too busy to do any bounty hunting. However, this particular job was too good to pass up. Comically enough, her partner for this was a droid that had actually run into her clan before. He was crafty and well connected, proving himself far more useful than the usual scrap metals she dealt with. Without the need to sleep or eat, he was perfectly suited for the role of staking out to observe their target. He would have her patterns down by now and Raz intended to capitalize on it.

Finding the perfect timing, she approached the house in question, making her way towards the basement. Unlike usual, she was adorned in ranger scout armor with a filter, her Mandalorian vambraces with their usual functions and everything else but the jetpack. She was also carrying her legal weapons, leaving the disruptor behind. There was no need to look obviously mando, and her braces alone wouldn’t give her away. Raz was focused on the bounty and she knew they needed some sort of leverage to draw Vhan out.

She had no idea that the house was being approached from the outside yet due to the obnoxious music playing above. Raz had brought gear with her to silently cut in through the glass. She got to work quickly, bringing out a laser glass cutter that finely cut a shape into the window to the basement without making a sound. After the job was done, Raz climbed inside and hopped down.

The basement was dark and dingy, comprised of an assortment of cleaning and utility items. She scanned over jugs of ammonia, bleach, and various other cleaning supplies. Cockroaches scurried around the basement and she stepped around a few containers of boric acid intended to kill the nasty creatures. Raz grimaced, suddenly deciding this probably wasn’t the best point of entry as she made her way past the furnace and air filter which was blasting hot air into the entire rest of the house. She felt more than a little uncomfortable in this new armor, and it didn’t fit quite right, and she was already beginning to sweat.

“I’m in,” She muttered over the comms to F2 as she slowly made her way towards the stairs that led to the upper stories of the house. Raz took the first step when she heard a loud crash upstairs. She cursed and froze where she was, “Damn it, need you here. We’ve got company. I think we’re too late to the party!”

F2 spotted the team moving in and he dropped his metal jaw, aghast at the situation. They were going to screw things up! They were screwing up his bounty! These Sith cronies were going to tie everything up in paperwork and investigation. That's why Theron had a bounty on him, so people who didn't have to file paperwork, be investigated by Internal Affairs, go through a psychology screening, and take paid time off after killing someone could go after the guy. F2 tossed the macronoculars to the side. They clattered to the ground with a crunch of plastic and electronics, which was lost to him as he sprinted towards the fire escape. With an unholy clang of metal on metal he descended as fast as his servos would allow. The lower ladder was not extended, so he simply vaulted over the end and dropped the remaining ten feet to the ground.

He rounded the corner at the same time the team breached the door to the browncrete. Almost on cue, Raz's voice filtered in through his integrated commlink. Well, voice wasn't right. The commlink just kept the information in electronic form and sent it right to his processors. Oops. He'd neglected to give her some advance warning. Oh well. She wasn't dumb. F2 hoped so, at least. "Looks like the Republica wants to give us bounty hunters a bigger mess to clean up. There's three of them and they're probably smashing eveything that isn't bolted down, hoping she is implausibly stupid enough to have written a super secret mailing address and then stuffed it in a holoframe like in the movies," he complained into the commlink as he hustled his shiny metal ass to the house in question.

Of course, he was not going to reach them in time to stop them from mucking around into what should have been his interrogation. He would have to wheedle his way into this one for now. That was alright, F2 had developed a habit of being able to insert himself into odd circumstances. He could hear commotion inside as he drew nearer. If he had eyes, he would have rolled them. Instead he simply huffed out a "Bless their circuits," comment as he reached the doorstep. He tisked at the destruction to the door, which probably hadn't even been locked. Typical organics, always going through like a battering ram without processing any information. As there was nobody to stop him with the Rpublica troopers busy clearing the rest of the home, F2 entered the building and closed the door behind him. "Bounty hunting slash interrogation droid at your services, Mr. Republica people. Please, do not shoot. I am unarmed because this is a civilian's home and this was supposed to be a nice quiet yet threatening chat about where her stupid ex-husband has gone," he announced loudly.

Taxis weren't the best way to get to a place on time. The mission was simple, Fireteam Zealous was supposed to infiltrate and secure the target. Jason sighed, it was too close for comfort. Jason was alright at combat, but he preferred to be inside a building or a ship giving orders and directing what to do. Now his mission was to interrogate the target once the squad had secured the building, and if needed provide backup should anything go wrong. The taxi rocked as they arrived at their destination. Next to Jason was the bounty hunter Metro. While Jason disapproved of anyone not in the Imperial Republica, he admired and respected bounty hunters because of their oath and skills. Jason did not agree with their unethical way of getting the job done, but in the end, they got the job done. The taxi stopped, and Jason and Metro stepped out. Jason's outfit was civilian clothes, but he wore his personal armor.

Soma Vhan was a woman who knew that she was not well liked by a lot of people and she knew that her jackass of an ex-husband had landed her with debt and the label of being the wife of a traitor. Sure, so maybe she had slept with a few of his friends but surely that didn't mean she deserved this kind of harrassment!

Thankfully she had a security system that alerted her to the people at her door. Rather than meet them in the main room she backed into her bedroom and picked up something she had saved up a few pennies for the chance to use on her ex.

    The wadjet flame projector.

She stayed back in her bedroom, hunkered down behind the bed with the beefy weapon resting on it. The door was only 5 meters away and she had a flame projector pointing right at it. Now it was time to fry these buggers!

"Oh. My. God!" She declared nasally, her finger resting on the trigger, "Could you not, like, wait for a girl to get dressed?!"

Let them come to her... let her cook them up real good! She had been meaning to move to Ord Cantrell anyway.

As the taxi ride went on Metro flipped through his datapad, looking at pictures of big butted Twi'lek and Umbaran girls in skimpy clothing, or no clothing at all. He would occasionally grunt or say 'whoa', even at one point turning his datapad to Jason, pointing at it and grinning like a small child. He had two reasons for doing this, most importantly, when most people interacted with a known Umbaran, which was the whole reason Metro was in a taxi cab with an Imperial intelligence officer; they were frequently put ill at ease. They assumed that Umbarans could instantly download one's deepest, darkest secrets like a slicer. This was of course very far from the truth. But to put people at ease, he had learned that if someone thought him dumb, they also assumed that their secrets were safe with him. So he was playing it up.

The other reason was also related to telepathy. Showing Maverick a picture of an attractive Umbaran girl would let him figure out, in a discrete way, how Maverick felt about aliens. Attraction, being a strong emotion was relatively easy to pick up for Metro, and if it was followed by disgust, it would give evidence how Maverick felt about non-humans. Of course, Maverick might feel revulsion at some weirdo showing nudie pics to him though. This was a limitation to telepathy. It could reveal what someone was thinking, but not always why. This is where one's intuition and experience had to come in.

Metro was dressed more conservatively than normal, closer to the imperial style one might find on Kuat, a scarf both against the chill in the air and to cover his neck tattoos, and a wide brimmed hat to make him look mean, and advantage in an interrogation. He had applied a fake spray tan on the trip over as well. Not to conceal his identity from Maverick who of course knew he was Umbaran, but simply to avoid being hassled for being non human, for having face tattoos. The tan was noticeable up close, and typical of Imperial aliens wishing to avoid discrimination in the Republica.

He had no desire to conceal his history on Nar Shaddaa from Maverick and had gone the unusual step of giving him his underworld nickname, Metropolis, but had asked him to use Mal Ohms, the alias he used to get his bounty hunting liscense while they working, for obvious reasons. He figured as Maverick worked intelligence, there was little point concealing information that he could probably find anyways, and being open helped build trust between the two men. He had however not shared his original name with the man. His farther past was something he had taken great pains to conceal when he had moved to Nar Shaddaa, not having told anyone about it since he had left his home, and he intended to keep it that way.

As they pulled up to the house, the guards on the perimeter waved the cab through, having been expected. Metropolis got out of the taxi on the side of the house, door now busted in. He rounded to the back of the cab and opened his rifle case, and took out his port scanner.

A few presses and its automated program found the home's holonet relay and the program began slicing into it for him. He noted some of the ports' names that were connected to the home: Entrtnmnt Sys, Busnss comp, Soma comp, ThermoSt, Sec-cam (lawn), Sec-cam (kitch), Sec-cam (bedr), Sec-cam (basem), four interC labelled -1, 0, 1, and 2; secRec, and silenAlar, ThDPad, SDPad. Sec-cam must have been security camera, and interC was intercom and the numbers referred to the 3 floors and the basement. Thermo must have been the thermostat for the heating and cooling system. 'secRec' must have been storage for the security cameras. silenAlar must be going off right now due to the entry. And the Dpads must of allowed control of all the systems by datapad. It looked like the whole house was connected and fully automated though the use of datapads. Metro supposed the holonet relay allowed quick patching of the security cameras and intercoms to Kuat security services, in case of a break in, or worse. The funny thing was, he didn't notice a security camera anywhere in the front lawn or stuck to the house. Even the now busted door had no wires hanging from it. The security cameras must have been hidden throughout the house. Typical intelligence agent, thought Metro.

He was about to show the port scanner to Jason when a protocol droid went through the busted door.

"Theron got a protocol droid?" Metro asked the intel officer. He couldn't imagine why Soma might need one, but several reasons why Theron might.

Edit: Oops, didn't see the DM post. I'm going to ask for an exception for Metro for the following reasons: I've been described in the thread and tagged, and PC bounties are required to have one open pvp thread every month, which I presume is for allowing anyone to collect, I don't think it's irrational to ask for the same for NPC bounty threads to be open/pvp. After all Metro is a bounty hunter and its integral to his background.

1/16 edit: Got rid of a sentence describing something that was never said in the final post. Page archived beforehand.

Things have a habit of getting interesting on operations, they varied most of the time, from the mundane to FUBAR. But, this..this was something completely new. A cool breeze swept through the entry way where the entrance door once stood, in it came the sight of an odd looking droid of sorts. Caran shifted his body towards the droid, his finger resting on the side of his rife--close to the trigger.

"Bounty hunta' droid," his thick Imperial accent called out, I wonder which department put out this job...no coordination, he thought to himself as he gave a nod, motioning the droid into the room, "Alright mate, fair enough..you working with anybody else, and do you have the holo papers agreeing to this hunt?"

That would have to wait, the sound of a nasaly voice came from the other room, caran glanced towards the two other troops with him, motioning to stand away from the door and off to the side,
Seen too many blokes take a hail of blaster bolts through a door. "Alright fair enough," he called out towards the woman, "Didn't mean to come knockin' ya' door down like that, but ya' didn't answer." He would pause as he stood off to the side, his eyes fixed on the door. "Officer Caran Malo here, I've got a high court writ to bring you in for a talk, but it doesn't have to come to that, just gotta' ask a few questions about ya' ex husband, and we'll be on our way ma'am." His eyes would shift towards the droid, "If her story checks out and he's out of Imperial space, you're free to use the information, we don't have jurisdiction to move outside our space."

He would sigh as the sight of another vehicle approached, with two men making their way out of the speeder and standing in front of the house, "I suppose you aren't working with them, yeah?" He would ask the droid--as his rifle's direction shifted from the entry of the house and towards the door where the woman was residing in.

Drake was not used to this many people in his operations. It took all his discipline not to shoot the new entrant as it came to the threshold. The droid was a self-proclaimed bounty hunter. It would therefore find the muzzle of Ben's rifle pointed at its centre of mass - not in an aggressive eyes-down-the-sights kind of way, but certainly with the butt in his shoulder. He was aware of the newcomers outside and would put his body in the way of the droid coming in - keep the unknowns in the same direction. As he heard his skipper address the droid, he stepped to one side, bracing his left shoulder against the inside of the door, creating a field of view that included - from right to left - a floor to ceiling window that would open out into a central courtyard; his two colleagues; the only door in the room; the new droid; the doorway; and the people outside. Drake had a wall behind him, about a meter between the edge of the doorway Ben braced himself against and the wall. As the droid came through, he certainly would not let him close the door.

Ben was unaware of the heating vent above his head, over his right shoulder. He wasn't unaware of its effect, though. As he came in from the cold outside, his environment suit in his armour lagged a moment and started to sweat slightly before it caught up with the change in temperature.

The boss may be worried about passes and paperwork, but Drake was watching for sudden movements, his rifle still in a low ready position. In a quiet moment, while the others were talking, he would fix his bayonet, inwardly cursing himself for not remembering to do it sooner.

A droid joining in on the party was certainly...unnususal, especially one that did not appear all that...bounty-hunterish. Joseph however, said nothing and kept to his silence, as their group leader asked his questions. Keeping his weapon trained on the door, his finger hovering over the trigger in case it was needed. Then, again, the situation changed.

"Well, this is getting interesting." he commented, affixing his bayonet to the end of his rifle as his squadmate did likewise. With one of their number focused on the droid, and by extension those other hunters coming from outside, and Joseph focused on the target, things seemed - for now - to be reasonably under control.

Yet, as was ever the case, things could change in this game, and quickly.

Wyatt half stood on the roof with his back against the HVAC unit, positioned half of a foot from the edge of the roof as to not show the end of his weapon to the street below or anyone arriving on scene. His typical armament and accoutrements we're all present minus the eye-sore in imperial space T visor helmet that labeled someone as a mandalorian, instead he had opted for a more urban hunter feeling bucket that sat on his head dialed in to the short range frequency both F2 and Raz we're on. Bowcaster in hands with his bandoleer strapped over his chestplate Wyatt had made sure to pack all of his ammunition and ordnance. His Shriek-hawk sat on a small crate next to him as he watched from the observation point, he had made sure to bring his close range toys and it looked like it was going to pay off. His helmet came to life for the first time in what felt like forever as first the confirmation that Raz had entered the building came through followed by the motioning from F2 as he watched an imperial team breach the front of the house. Textbook moves executed with a concussion grenade to soften any targets, which surprised Wyatt slightly knowing neither he nor F2 had seen the target come or go only his ex-wife.

F2 not long after, descended in truly terrifying fashion to give a welcome to the guests as he made for the building, Wyatt had been positioned to watch the front exit of the building and having been present for some time in addition to F2 he knew of only two ways in. The front and back which lead to the basement, the entrance Raz had used so he could deduce that it was covered at this time as there wasn't a window present on the three story rise. "I'm watching the front, a taxi just pulled up two more imperials... Maybe only one but he has a friend. Five targets total watch your back F2." Wyatt muttered into his helmet as he kept the bowcaster trained on the civilian clothes figure sporting imperial standard armor as the taxi waved off once they'd completed exiting it.

OOC Note: Armor, functions and equipment is as stated on character sheet accept for helmet.

Narir and Raz bounty hunting was old school. This wasn't their first job like this, and he was sure it wouldn't be their last. They'd teamed up with a droid that Narir didn't know, but he was assuming said droid knew what it was doing since it had been more or less vouched for by Raz. While the droid went charging in and Raz snuck into the basement, Narir held his position not far from the doorway with his carbine trained on the way the Imperials had just gone in.

His full gear was in place and he'd taken up a position behind the shrubbery at the edge of the area between her house and the other houses. It provided him with more than adequate cover, and the bushes and plants around it cast he and his black armor in even deeper shadow, making him all but impossible to spot. It was precisely why he had picked this position.

The initial Imperial assault resulted in doors kicked in, but no one returned outward. Narir watched as the party grew with a taxi (Wait? Really? Someone arrived to a military operation in a taxi?) pulled up, delivered two more people, and then drove off. It seemed the driver was getting the shady sense and didn't want to stick around. After all, when there was pseudo law enforcement kicking in a door, it probably wasn't very safe.

But that was all fine and dandy. He'd heard Raz's call over the comm, and moments later whispered his own reply. I'm still on the door, holding position, he said. The droid had already gone inside, and given that he didn't hear gunfire, he took that as a good sign for team Badger. Ready to engage if needed, he added quietly.

OOC: Normal armor with a black helmet that is not Mandalorian but functionally identical to his normal armor. Also a poncho over his armor because we know how I <3 ponchos. @Clayton @Sreeya

Raz was not at all comfortable in the basement. She decided that it was probably time to join everyone else upstairs. She hoped there wouldn’t be a fight, especially with that many people involved. Glad she couldn’t smell the dank ass basement, she quietly began to make her way up the stairs, the music still blaring loudly. Raz slowly opened the door, peeking out and spotting no one standing ahead of her. She looked all around, not spotting anyone in her peripherals. The other badgers came on the comms line, and she felt much better about the situation.

She wondered what kind of strange house they stumbled into. Raz was beginning to have some mild regrets, debating whether or not this was even the right house. She walked into what was obviously the dining room, hearing some commotion immediately to her right. Raz, despite being impulsive, actually kept her cool this time. She had her pistol drawn, but she didn’t do anything with it. Raz didn’t doubt that it was possible to get out of this without a fight, as everyone appeared just as confused to find themselves here.

Raz hadn’t heard the woman behind the door at all, and she was far from that whole business. She had her back pressed against the wall, shimmying along it before she stopped. She wasn’t quite yet ready to look over the edge and give herself away. For now, she was content with simply hearing everything, wondering what new shit she had just gotten herself and her boys into.

F2O2 stared blankly at B Drake. Not that he was capable of any other expression besides a blank one. "This lady's ex-husband has a legal bounty on him. I fail to see how my arrival is in any manner unexpected or unwelcome," he stated, as if offended that this Imperial agent would point a weapon at him. Really, the nerve of these people to interrupt his ideally stealthy bounty and then act like he was in the wrong for showing up. Then he spotted Joseph Trazyn standing at the far end of a couch with a floral design. "Oh, hello!" he said cheerfully, and waved as he recognized the agent. "You owe me 50 credits for the ride I gave you on Bandomeer," he informed Joseph in a tone that suggested the droid entirely expected to be paid this minute. After all, who gave rides into combat situations for free? Even the two weirdos outside, as relayed by Wyatt, had shown up to an official raid in a taxi.

"I should become a taxi driver," F2 mused. He'd once seen a taxi run over a dug without stopping to see if he was ok, or file a police report. F2 could do that just as well. He did not leap to correct Caran who claimed they had knocked. F2 had missed some of the action as he raced down the fire escape, but he calculated an 86.397% probability that the Imperial team had not, in fact, knocked before banging the door down. That was not how breach and flashbang operations worked. But then, people were showing up to one in a taxi so who the hell knew anything anymore. Make that an 85.397% probability.

What... what the hell was going on out there?

"What, did you bring any entire police department down to try and bring me in?"
she shot back angrily, annoyed and even more so when she got an alert on her datapad beside her on the bed, "And... ARE YOU HACKING ME?!"

Indeed her internal security was telling her that someone was hacking into the functions of her home. Thankfully for her, she had made sure to remove all of the internal security cameras. Why in the hells would she have kept internal security cameras that her ex-husband had installed and had access to?

It was just asking for him to perv on her!

    "Kark you assholes!"

She continued to ready herself to fire.

Above them, in the second story, her lodger, a young twenty something, changed the song, having gotten annoyed with the song choice that the shuffle had come up with.

    So he changed it.

    Raining Blood seemed... appropriate.

Almost every school kid in the Empire had learned they could slap, kick, even push most droids down the stairs. With impunity. At least in regard to the droids. The worst they could expect from their targets was an attempt to waddle or whirr away from the abuse. But Metropolis was no school kid. When he heard the words bounty hunter, interrogator, and threatening come out of the droid's vocabulator he didn't imagine nascent bullying behavior. He imagined pieces of Hutt stuck in a palace's walls on Nal Hutta. A few years back a protocol droid had been modified to kill and stuffed with a thermal detonator. Its mission was to take out a Hutt. Supposedly he had become troublesome to some Imperial gangs on Nar Shaddaa. The attack took out the hutt and half the palace staff with it. And this was clearly a modded droid. He needed walls now. Walls in between him and the droid. And his intelligence contact. Metropolis stepped in front of Maverick and tilted his head, making sure his hat blocked his lips from being visible to the droid.

"That droid is very dangerous. Follow my lead." Metropolis whispered, close to him, as he passed the port scanner to Maverick. It was beeping. The hack completed. He hadn't noticed. He didn't care about the grunts inside either. One seemed nervous for some reason, which in turn had also made him nervous. Evidently not about the right things, as he had simply let the droid in. These Imperials could all end up stuck in the walls like the Hutt for all he cared, as they had already let the driveyards above them blow up already. But Metropolis had lived in dangerous areas of the galaxy, the real galaxy as far as he was concerned, long enough to know when something was very off. And he'd survived it by extracting himself when things looked about ready to blow.

He turned back around from Maverick now facing the home and put his right hand in front of him, as if in greeting, and with his other hand closed the case and the trunk. But he was not greeting the men inside. He was concentrating on making an invisible shield between himself and the entrance to the home. Focusing on changing reality so it fit what he had on his mind. Making sure nothing from the house crossed over to him. It would probably be futile if the droid blew up, but it was his best shot at the moment. And he couldn't let the droid know.

"Looks like you guys got this handled." Metropolis said and got back in the hover cab, as the cabbie was about head off. Opening the door and getting brought down his shield. It wasn't just the intelligence agent he needed alive though. He needed the wife alive as well. "Start driving." He said to the cabbie. But how? He couldn't alert the grunts inside that they needed to take down the droid. Not without alerting the droid. Maybe he didn't need to take down the droid though. All he really needed was the wife. The nervous cabbie complied, happy to be away, but not without Metropolis. The cab left with him.

While Jason usually liked to take the lead in missions, he wasn't sitting in some office or anything of the sort, he was in a battleground. Jason followed Metro and watched as Metro stood in front of Jason, blocking his view of the droid. Jason didn't know much about droids, so he decided to go ahead and follow Metro. Jason took the port scanner, and put it inside his jacket pocket. He followed Metro back to the cab, and watched as he put his hand out. Not questioning the weird gesture, Jason remained silent, and observed, occasionally glancing around them. Metro got back in the cab, and without questioning, Jason got back in leaving the mission. What a waste of time. And a failed mission.

Caran listened as the droid bickered with his men, about past payments. He thought he heard the woman in the room speaking, but wasn't paying much attention. What the kriff are two plain clothes son of a tark roaming around this property. His crisp blue eyes watched as the two men made their way around a trunk, and towards the doors of the cab.

"Joesph, take charge here." He called out towards the soldier as he readied his rifle and made his way towards the door to get a better look at what's going on. His eyes narrowing as he spotted the cab begin to start up to head away from the home.

"Stop right there, Caran Malo..Imperial Special Activities," he called out towards the cab driver, who gave him a nervous look. "You are tresspassing on Imperial grounds and operation without proper authority," but the driver didn't listen, and instead began to put his foot to the gas, but Malo wouldn't allow suspected terrorists or infiltrators kill this woman.

Resting his finger on the trigger of his rifle, he would fire his rifle from the entrance of the house towards the cab, as the drive began to attempt to get away, he fired four shots in a tight formation towards the driver's way--striking through the glass and hitting the man in the neck, causing the cabbie's head to hit the wheel and swerve to the sidewalk, crashing into a tree that lined the sidewalk.

"Driver down," he would call out, as he made his way forward towards the crashed cab--rifle aimed and ready if any rebels or terrorists attempted to come out shooting.
