Bounty Office

In the SW galaxy, anyone could go to the local bounty office and post or collect a bounty. It wasn't just for the bounty hunting guilds, but for everyone. I think there should be a (probably in an OOC forum, or stickyed in the Independent factions one) bounty office here where anyone can post a bounty by PMing he who maintains it and them sticking it up.

I would be happy to maintain this if you'd like, but for now, is it worth having?

It makes independent assassins and hunters...or just civillians, have something to do for money should they need to, without signing up to the bounty hunting guild.

I think more important bounties would go to the guild, and as for just the little office maybe the less important ones. Like there would have to be certain rules for bounties being posted in the office like, no killing, no stealing, etc.., I guess it would be just for capture and information gathering.

Well I suggest an office because in the Star Wars galaxy anyone who posted a bounty would go through a regular office and any guild or bounty hunting faction would go through that office to collect them. In SW there was at least one office on pretty much every planet with sentient inhabitants...so the "little office" would technically be bigger than the guild, as they're just a select few bounty hunters. It also lets people collect bounties without being a member of the guild, or post bounties on friends/members of the guild.

Just as anouther request: Would you be able to set up random bounties for NPC's? I mean, if it worked like the last system the bouties started will be far and few between (Excluding the bounty on sith/jedi that was never really enacted upon).

That would be cool, Id be fine with roleplaying as an NPC with a bounty on thier head. :p. As I am sure that alot of others would be.

npc boutnies would be a good idea, actually. Mixes up the RP if you want to play one character for a single thread or so.

That is a good point...and I wouldn't mind RPing a bounty subject either.

How about the Bounty Office includes:

- All Bounties
- More information regarding bounties than BHG
(This varies upon bounties)

The BHG includes:

- Large bounties
- Less information than bounty office.
(This varies upon bounties)

Well the Office just wouldn't be affiliated with the guild; and the office is open to ANY character, so the BHG would get all the info from the office. The guild is just a bounty hunting faction which is respected and known. The office just gives independent assassins and hunters their chance.
