Character 'Adoptions'

Make a Profile section where people make up profiles for others to use. If a person has writers block, the see if they can find a character in the section to use, and use it. Quite simple really, but effective.

it's a good idea, but the RP is for making up your own ideas...

....if you need to tell people ideas Enishi, do it...but don't give them the whole profile.

Because most people won't be sitting down and writing profiles for other people, yet Enishi has thousands of them.

Meh, I think if people want help on a character, you should offer advice and assistance, but not just make a character up for them. Part of knowing how to play your character is being able to slip into their shoes in your mind and know how they will react in certain situations. Alot of how they act depends on their history and past experiences. Besides, if we hand out characters to everyone, the next thing we'll be doing is handing out rp's for people to do...which is kinda already happening in some cases...lol. Exercise your noodle before the TV and games ruin your brains forEVA! lol

I have several ideas for characters that i think are good but unfortunatly they never seem to come out right which is why i have not made my grey jedi idea or my leader of the wookiee's idea. So i think this think should be done not on making profiles but helping people along to make them.

I'm against it. People should use their own imagination. If this was to be done, it could encourage people NOT to make profiles. They'd just go to Enishi and get a profile and forget ever using their own head to make a character. Anyways, you are just as likely to keep writers blow with someone elses character. The character has to fit you in order to RP well, andusually those fits come from one's own head, not someone else.

I would be leader if i made the faction but i do not want to create some horrid mutilated faction do to the fact that my writing can go from good to bad for no reason and it is hard for me to make a good story since my begginings almost always suck.

I like this idea. It would help people who have absolutly no imagination. That, and its like paying those games where they got 4 characters and you get to play through the game as one of them. ^_^

Er, not to be mean or anything, but why would someone want to RP if they have no imagination. If they did, they wouldn't stick with it for long and they would never get anywhere... that is, until they actually develope an imagination.

i think, instead of ready made profiles, there should be something for people to give their general idea, and people help them develop it.

I think what the admins were saying was that it was a bad idea for the forum, but if people want someone else to create their character for them because they couldn't think of anything, they were free to do so by going to that person.

I think its been established that this is not going to happen. If you need help with a character, PM someone. We're not going to hand you a character.
