The Jedi temple on Coruscant, always bustling with Jedi. Master Sara, walked thorugh the halls toward Lirra's room. She knocks on the door.

"Lirra, it's Sara, may I come in." She says.

Shara

Deep in meditation, the Jedi Knight didn't immediatly hear the knocking. She was focusing inward, almost asleep... it was only when the knock came a second time that it registered on her conciousness and she immerged from her trance, slightly flustered.

"You may enter, Master. It's open."

Captain Kara

Sara's heels clicked on the floor as she walked into the knight's room. She closes the door.

"Lirra, let me get right to the point...on the sandcrawler....something seemed to be bothering you....may I ask what it is?" She says with a concerned look on her face.

Shara

"I appologize for my behavior, Master. I did not mean to be rude." Lirra couldn't help but frown, discomfort obvious. She was confident she had mastered her emotions. But she hadn't expected to be confronted about it. She'd hoped Master Luostarinen hadn't noticed... apparently not.

"It is nothing to concern yourself with. I've dealt with it."

She moves closer to the knight. She sits on the floor across from Lirra. She places her hand on the side of her friends face.

"You may be younger than me...but we could always talk before...but now you are so distant...I don't want us to get further away. Please...Lirra...talk to me." She says with a hint of concern for her friend in her voice.

Shara

"I am distant because I have to be." Lirra flenched away from her touch, scowling.

"Emotion is dangerous. Attachment is forbidden. You know this as well as I. I have thought long and hard about this, Master. Believe me when I say you have no reason to worry."

hello

*Lasec walked back to her quaters after eating lunch. The cloud cake was particularly good today, she thought to herself. Her steps lead her to her Master's door in which another voice could be heard. Not wanting to disturb whatever she was doing she decided to listen in from outside.*

Captain Kara

She thought in her head, she knew it was forbidden but how can something so wrong feel so good. She always cringed when Lirra said that word, Master. She hated it.

"You cannot hide what is in the open...my question to you is emotions may be repressed, tucked away, but one day these emotions will overcome you....I know this to well." She looked deep into Lirra's eyes, "Somethings that are so wrong may be right. Attachment...is a strong word...aren't we, jedi, attached to our beliefs, our code, our honor, our faith, and aren't we attached to the force...a jedi cannot live without the force....attachment is what that is.

Shara

"It's not the same thing." Lirra looked away, determinedly staring at the wall.

"Our attachment to the Force and our attachment to... other people... are two very different things, Master. The Force... It's what we are. We need it to survive. The other form of attachment... it is beneath us. It is dangerous."

hello

*Lasec listened close to the coversation. It seemed Shara had some type of emotion that was not needed. Will she be consumed like her former Master, she thought as her stomach clenched.*

Captain Kara

She turns Lirra face toward her own and kisses her. After what seems like mintues, she pulls away.

"I am sorry...I shouldn't have done that..I should go..." She says beginning to stand.

Shara
12-21-2005, 04:43 AM
Lirra stared at her, thunder struck. She had expected to be barrated. Lectured, even. Anything but this... it was tempting, so terribly tempting, to let her stay...

And then her mind caught up with the rest of her and the emotional barriers she'd spent so much time constructing snapped back into place.

"Yes. You should." She replied, sounding a good deal colder than she'd intended.

Captain Kara

She looked at Lirra.

"Remember Lirra...sometimes something that are wrong are actually right..." She says leaving the room.

She walks through the door. She sees Lasec, she frowns at her and shakess her head and begins to walk off.

hello

*Lasec quickly understands the signal and takes off towards her quarters.*

Shara

Lirra watched her go, insides twisting. Why did it have to be so hard? It shouldn't have been. It should have been easy, she should have had more control.

"Oh what a fool am I..."

She lay down, burrying her face in her pillow.

"What a fool, what a fool, what a fool..."

Captain Kara

Sara stood outside Lirra's door not wanting to leave. She slipped to the side of the door and leaned against the wall. Her eyes closed.

Shara
12-21-2005, 05:12 AM
Lirra could feel Sara's pressence continue to linger near by, and sincerely wished she wouldn't. It was almost impossible to think of other things with the one thing she shouldn't be thinking about so close at hand.

"Damnit." She sighed, rolling over and closing her eyes, willing her mind to clear.

Captain Kara
12-21-2005, 05:16 AM
She wanted to say sorry...but she knew she wasn't. She wanted to kiss her and run away but knew she couldn't. She wanted to do something...anything but leave.

Shara
12-21-2005, 05:23 AM
Lirra cursed and grumbled, getting up and walking to the door. Flinging it open she glared around at Sara, scowling deeply.

"Is there something you would like to say, Master? I thought we were quite finished here... and I have more than enough to be getting on with without you hovering around distracting me..."

Captain Kara
12-21-2005, 05:28 AM
Lirra could clearly see tears in Sara's eyes.

"Please....don't call me master..." She says sinking to the floor, her hands on her face.

Shara
12-21-2005, 05:32 AM
Lirra steeled herself, glare taking on a determined edge.

"It is your station. It would be improper for me to refer to you as anything else." She felt terribly cruel and bitter, but it had to be done. One of them had to keep their senses. If she had to hurt her in the process, so be it. They'd be better off in the end.

"Now, if there's nothing else..."

OOC: I gotta go. Night.

Captain Kara
12-21-2005, 05:35 AM
ooc: Bye... :17: ...LOL

She straightens up, closes her eyes for a second. She stands up gives Lirra an icy gaze. She brings her hand up and slaps Lirra across the face. She walks off her heels clicking as she leaves.

ooc: Heels click as she enter then as she leaves.

Shara

Lirra, stood there in shock, hand reaching up to feel the cheek that had been slapped.

"Ow." She breathed, little more than a whisper. That had almost been more of a shock than the kiss.
